Vacation rentals with a fireplace in St. Lawrence County

Mary's house was great! the location was beautiful. We enjoyed having our coffee on the screened in porch both mornings, and listening to the birds and watching the water. It was soo relaxing! The inside had the classic smell of an Adirondack lodge. It reminded me of spending my summers at my Grandparents cottage in Higley as a child. We were also really pleased with the location. we were within 10 minutes of Potsdam and Colton. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone that is looking for a place to stay.

We stayed in Shannon’s home in Colton … it was perfect. The place was spacious and spotless, the views were amazing… Shannon was very friendly and easy to communicate with… Thank you Shannon for sharing your home with us… It was an incredible weekend celebrating our son’s graduation from Clarkson.

This place is fantastic! It’s perfect for a party of 5 or 6. It’s also conveniently located near the town. Alisa was incredibly helpful and made the process of getting in and out of the place incredibly easy. I highly recommend her place! :)

Really lovely little home! Beds were comfortable and the air conditioning and heat both worked well. Loved the screened porch! Walk to nice restaurants in the cute downtown! Peaceful neighborhood.

Karilee was a wonderful host. The home was a great place to spend a peaceful evening. It is about 25 minutes from Alex Bay and Watertown. We needed a later check out on Saturday and she was over accommodating with us. It was very much appreciated!

Second time my family has stayed at Stacey's and again everything was perfect! Lots to do and perfectly appointed! Family couldn't say enough about the comfort of the beds, pillows, sheets etc! Loved the kayaks, even though in my opinion it was a bit chilly, but they enjoyed just the same!! Will take advantage of this property every chance we can!

kimberly’s house was beyond my expectations and I wish I could have stayed longer, one night was not long enough. It was so peaceful and quiet all afternoon and night, it was the perfect spot to unwind from life. An added bonus was hearing the loons in the morning! I will definitely be booking again and telling all of my friends about this beautiful getaway!

This was my first time using Airbnb and I'm so grateful that Neil was my first host. The house was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the description, but was also so much more. It was fully stocked with everything and anything we needed. Neil was beyond helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. The house was clean and the neighborhood was so beautiful. My kids enjoyed using the canoe and kayaks. We had a wonderful family weekend enjoying my son's graduation. I would rent this place again. Thank you!

This was a very clean and well organized place. Everything you could think you would need was there. Beth communicated very well and provided all necessary information ahead of time. I really couldn't think of any questions to ask because of this. I would definitely book it again.

As a native of Waddington, I know that it is often hard to find a comfortable place to stay at times so I am very happy that I found this place. The location cannot be beat - the deck overlooked the St. Lawrence River where we would enjoy early morning coffee and the beautiful evening sunsets. Since it is centrally located, we were able to walk to coffee shops, local restaurants, and stores. The unit was spotless with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were very comfortable and there was ample parking (even on a busy weekend). An added bonus was the available washer and dryer. I cannot think of anything that was overlooked to ensure a wonderful stay - Michele put a lot of thought into making sure guests have everything they need and she was an extremely responsive host. Whether you are a in town for the fishing, a couple sharing some quiet time away, or a native visiting home, I would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

The apartment was easy to find and as described in the listing. It was quiet, but just by the nature of the building you do hear sounds from the unit above such as toilet flushing, taking a shower, the front door of the building opening. It was not disruptive to our stay at all. This apartment would work well for someone staying with kids, you could easily fit a pack n play and high chair in the space too if needed for smaller kids. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets for the beds.
