Family-friendly vacation rentals in St. Julian's

Andy’s place was perfect for our girls trip to Malta! Very clean, felt safe and was only 15 minutes from the airport. A short drive to nearby towns like Sliema and Valetta. Would definitely recommend for your next stay in Malta.

Wir waren eine knappe Woche in der Unterkunft von Shaun und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Ferienhaus ist mit den um den Innenhof liegenden Zimmern sehr gut aufgeteilt und bot allen Komfort. Der Pool und der Whirlpool waren sauber und hatte vor allem eine tolle Beleuchtung. Fußläufig haben wir alles gut erreichen können, auch bis zum Meer ist es nicht weit. Der Gastgeber Shawn war immer gut erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten.

The villa was beautiful. Everywhere was spacious and clean. The pool is perfect. Overall really pleased with our stay. Location was good but due to the mobility of the guests walking to the beach was not an option. The driver we had was absolutely first class - provided by the villa. A couple of maintenance issues which were quickly fixed.

Stephanie was an excellent host. She sent useful information before we arrived and greeted us on arrival. There were one or two minor issues with plumbing that were sorted promptly and in a friendly manner. The place is really lovely especially the pool area. There were six of us but there is ample room for up to ten people . The Bolt taxi service is good but I would say a hire car is almost essential if, like us want to explore a lot of Malta. Mellieha is an excellent hub for water sports and the ferry to Gozo. Overall I think Citrine villa is a beautiful if a little faded gem.

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious and bright apartment! The place is very well managed by the owner, who was incredibly responsive and helpful, even arranging airport transfers for us both ways. The apartment itself was spotless, with clean towels and fresh linens provided. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful Jacuzzi: perfect for relaxing after a day out. "Imagine going out dancing at one or more clubs in Paceville, St. Julian's, or Sliema, and coming home with sore legs, what could be better' The apartment is also equipped with a barbecue area, which made for some great evenings together. Despite being just steps away from the lively nightlife scene, the apartment is surprisingly quiet, so we could rest well. It’s ideal for a large group of friends, with plenty of room for everyone. While the building itself isn’t particularly well maintained, that’s beyond the owner’s control and didn’t affect our stay at all. Overall, a great experience — highly recommended!

Lewis was amazing, considerate and attentive. Communication was immaculate and super supportive he’s the best Airbnb host I have had, the place was just as amazing as the apartment itself, definitely worth the price and much more.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft! Die Beschreibung der Villa war sehr zutreffend und die Gastgeberin hat immer schnell auf Fragen geantwortet! Auch Check-in/-out verlief ohne Probleme.

Schon ab der Buchung war die Kommunikation mit Tina hervorragend – schnell, hilfsbereit und mit vielen nützlichen Tipps (z. B. Restaurantliste). Beim Öffnen der Balkontür hat uns der atemberaubende Blick auf Valletta sofort begeistert. Die Lage ist ideal: Fähren und Busse sind direkt gegenüber, Supermarkt, Restaurants und Bars in der Nähe. Vom Balkon hat man einen tollen Blick auf die Promenade von Sliema, und trotzdem ist es in der Wohnung ruhig – die Schlafzimmer liegen nach hinten. Wenn wir wieder nach Malta reisen, würden wir dieses Apartment sofort wieder buchen. Kleiner Hinweis: Für Malta braucht man einen Adapter für britische Steckdosen (Typ G).

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Andrew. Le logement est spacieux, bien entretenu et bien équipé avec une très belle terrasse avec piscine et grand barbecue. Logement idéal pour un groupe d'amis ou une grande famille. Nous y avons passé une très bonne semaine. Une belle adresse à retenir !

Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden, was wir gebraucht haben. Und auch noch viel mehr! Es gab Gewürze, Öl, Salz, Zucker, Kaffee.... so dass wir nicht alles fürs Frühstück neu kaufen mussten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Klimaanlage haben wir nicht genutzt, so warm war es Ende Mai noch nicht. Bei Fragen kam immer sehr zeitnah eine nette Antwort von Pawlu. Vielen Dank dafür! In der Nähe sind einige kleine Geschäfte, wo man wochentags noch bis 22 Uhr einkaufen kann. Restaurants sind auch fußläufig erreichbar. Eine klare Empfehlung geht an die ZION Bar. Den schönen Garten haben wir leider erst nach dem leckeren Essen gesehen. Hier gibt es sogar eine kleine Tanzfläche! Am besten mit dem Bus fahren, ist aber auch zu Fuß machbar. Die Straße hoch zur Wohnung ist leider sehr steil, aber es wurde jeden Tag besser. 😆 Malta ist einfach traumhaft schön! 👍

My partner and I had the best time at Sim's property. It is a beautiful flat, spacious and comfortable. Sim's recommendations were spot on and not like anything we had seen before - his level of detail in the information he sent before check in was unheard of. We are very happy to have stayed at Sim's flat and definitely recommend it!

Appartement très bien situé avec une vue sur le port très agréable. Station familiale loin des touristes. Très propre et extrêmement bien agencé avec tout le nécessaire. Je recommande à 100%. Très réactif le papa !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robert's place. The location is great for access to both the old town and the ferry, with great views out of the balcony area. The apartment has homely vibes and Robert was very generous in stocking us up with beverages and snacks on arrival which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

Un excellent séjour à Paola ! Nous avons passé un très bon moment dans cette maison bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Tout était propre, confortable et conforme à la description. La piscine est un vrai plus pour se détendre lors d’une journée off ou après une journée de visite. La localisation à Paola est idéale, la maison se trouve à proximité des arrêts de bus, ce qui permet de se déplacer facilement partout sur l’île. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la communication avec les hôtes, qui ont été très réactifs, disponibles et chaleureux tout au long du séjour. Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse pour découvrir Malte !

Really nice little studio, perfect for a few days away. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Quiet area but still close to everything I wanted. The host was sound and easy to deal with. Overall, had a great stay—would definitely book again.

This property was absolutely incredible! If you're looking for stunning seaside and Valletta views all in one place, this is it. Every room offers breathtaking views, and the home itself is spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was impeccably clean and in excellent condition. The location is unbeatable, with a mall and grocery store conveniently right next door. We also utilized the transportation service arranged through the Airbnb, which made both check-in and departure seamless. The host was exceptionally helpful, always responsive, and kept us informed throughout our stay. We loved this place! 10/10

Byliśmy tu na początku maja. Miejsce piękne otoczone ogrodem w dzielnicy z samymi willami dookoła. Cudowne miejsce, a apartament super, przestronny, czyściutki, pełne wyposażenie. Basen, leżaczki, parasole, prywatny raj. Niedaleko lokalne produkty można kupić, i cieszyć się sezonowymi owadami ( my trafiliśmy na truskawki) pychaaa. Gospodarze wspaniali, uśmiechnięci chętnie podpowiadali o weekendowych atrakcjach na wyspie. Polecamy 100%!!!!! 👌

Overall we had a great stay . The apartment is huge and well positioned, close to beach and restaurants. It is at the top of a very steep hill, fortunately we hired a car. We loved the swimming pool and although not heated once in it was amazing. Chris was brilliant and responded quickly to any issues. Couple of things that would make a great stay brilliant, set of wine glasses, more tea towels, refurb ensuite bathroom, and finally the single beds are fine for children but very uncomfortable for adults. Also some new balcony furniture. We loved Malta and the weather was very kind to us in October.

Führ unseren Familien Urlaub hatten wir mit diesen Haus den perfekten Ort um unsere gemeinsame Zeit zu verbringen.

This property is a gem, an oasis of calm in the busy town of Tarxiem. The appartment is self contained away from the host's house, with asingle room bed/sitting and diner and an en suite with shower. There is a small kitchenette downstairs, beside the pool. The adjacent pool and poolside is very secluded and private with plenty of space for relaxing and eating. Communicating with Karen was easy and very helpful. We're already hoping to make a return trip sometime.
