Kid-friendly vacation rentals in St Andrews

Would highly recommend this air BnB It is very comfortable with lots of nice little touches when we arrived such as flowers in the rooms.

Mary’s accommodation was absolutely pristine and so comfortable. She has thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay and more. The little treats left for us were a lovely touch. The beds and sofa were very comfortable. This was a great place to explore from. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Ann’s farmhouse. We booked to be close to the Cowshed as we were guests at a wedding. Only a 10min walk to the venue. I am glad that the stay was for 5 nights as it let us explore the area and walk into Crail in the evenings. The farmhouse is central to everything but it very peaceful. It is well equipped for cooking, we enjoyed breakfast and an evening meal in the beautiful garden. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Thank you Ann for a wonderful stay, we will definitely return.

We stayed eight nights in the East Lodge. 2 adults, 2 dogs. Probably the best stay we have had in Scotland and we have stayed in many places over the years. The lodge was perfect for us, charming and well equipped. The setting was exactly what we wanted, peaceful, secluded but also close to villages and local towns. And last but not least, Alexander was the perfect host in every way. We are already planning for a return visit!

Spotless inside with modern fittings and furniture. Would highly reccommend.

We had a beautiful stay here. The house is perfect, had everything we needed. We loved the kitchen space and living space, felt so cosy and at home there. Our hosts were so generous with us, making our recent engagement even more special - thank you again! Lots of recommendations for walks and places to eat which was great. We were right in the countryside with nature at its finest…deer in the garden, horses trotting along the path, sheep and chickens nearby, it was so calming! Couldn’t have asked for anything more, 10/10 definitely recommend.

Great stay at the Doocot. Really well done out accommodation, which was the perfect place to explore Fife and surrounding areas. We particularly enjoyed walking part of coastal path, Cambo gardens, Loch Lomond and the Cairngorms. Lisa was fantastic at communicating, and gave us so many great recommendations. Only slight negative was the lack of space for hanging/storing clothes. It was our first time in Fife and we absolutely loved it!

Can’t say enough about the location. Close to everything. Host was fantastic!

We had a lovely stay in Eric’s apartment. It was impeccably clean & tidy and worked well for 3 adults, due to the 2 bathrooms. It had a well equipped kitchen and was decorated and furnished to a high standard. The location is very central with good access to bars, restaurants and shops and a comfortable walk to both beaches. The designated parking space is a real bonus in St. Andrews and meant that we could travel to other towns easily. We would happily stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at 17 Tom Morris. Easy drive into St Andrew’s and a great kitchen so we could cook our own meals. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodations were exactly as described, and this was by far the best experience we’ve had with Airbnb. David was an excellent communicator from start to finish, making everything smooth and stress-free. His flat is in a great area—convenient, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. He even went the extra mile by leaving us some milk and breakfast items, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and David was a dream to work with. Highly recommended!

Wee gem of an apartment in a quiet but very central part of Arbroath. Two mins from beach and easy stroll to shops and restaurants. Flat was very spacious and extremely well equipped. Comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. The dedicated parking was very convenient. We had a wonderful break and would love to return.

This is a lovely flat with lots of pretty touches. We travelled there by bus from Edinburgh and changed at Leven to the local 95 bus which stops right at the viaduct and only a 3 minute walk from there. Great bus also to take to all the local towns. On entrance to the flat there are 6 stone steps but with no railings so beware if you have mobility issues. Also there is a step into the bathroom and a big step into the shower with no handrail so not good again if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, it’s a great flat near all the local facilities. The wee shop is well stocked and well priced and the owner very smiley. We also sampled the Aurrie for cake, the Railway for a drink and the Crusoe for Sunday lunch. All lovely Pauline is super friendly and helpful . A great host .

Allison’s place was exactly as described in the advertisement. It was very easy to walk to Market St, North St and South St. it was a pleasant walk to the Olde Course and all the great restaurants. I recommend Allison’s Airbnb without reservation

Excellent venue for a couple to stay to explore the East Neuk. Comfortable bed; clean and user friendly en-suite; good range of kitchen utensils for those that like to cook. Right on the harbour front with views across the road to watch the tide come and go. Helen was very hospitable and all the local walkers were very friendly.

Great little home for our quick stay near St Andrews! We also booked ocean side sauna reservations at the new spot in Cellardyke, short walk from the home. The Haven restaurant is just around the corner as well and serves excellent food, cocktails and pints. It’s a quick drive to St Andrews and all the golf/shopping/ruins youd want to explore. I loved the historical information in the home folder as well! Thanks for letting us stay! We’ll be back.

We loved Andy and Karen's apartment. It was in a fabulous location; was well equipped, comfortable and clean; and was close to lots of cafes, restaurants, pubs, and amenities. We highly recommend it. We are already planning our next trip and hope to stay in this apartment again. Thanks Andy and Karen.

If I could, I would leave a 10-stars review ! Don’t look further. The description and photos are exactly as expected. Very clean and equipped with high quality amenities. The location could not be better. Very central and location is in a quiet street. The host guide prepared by Peter was very helplul and all communications very easy and smooth. I would highly recommend Peter’s place and if we come back, we would stay here again ! Just be aware that if you arrive before check-in time in a busy period, you might not be able to leave your luggage in the apartment before the time of check-in. Few options are offered including Stasher’s location service a bit further from town. Thanks Peter ! We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay to visit your beautiful city and play golf.

This is a lovely condo in a really beautiful location on the Fife coastal path. We really enjoyed relaxing here after a busy wedding weekend in St Andrews, and we wished we could have stayed more than just one night. Probably the cleanest airbnb I have ever been to. Karen was kind enough to let us check out late. We are already hoping to return!

Reece’s flat was absolutely gorgeous! I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area! He was an amazing host, had brilliant communication and was very easy to talk to regarding issues!

We had a lovely stay at. Catherine's place. Everything was so inviting, very clean and comfortable. Catherine was very responsive and kind. There was a seating area outside to enjoy the countryside. She left us a lovely breakfast for each day we spent there. This included porridge, cereal, toast and homemade jams,butter and milk. She also left us a welcome package of shortbread cookies. Thank you Catherine!

Aileen was an amazing host! The place was amazing and in a perfect location. Everything about the apartment was awesome. I would recommend staying here if it’s available. I will definitely be looking to stay here again next time I am in Edinburgh!

Sarah's place was great for our visit to Broughty Ferry. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Sarah is super nice and very responsive! I would highly recommend her place.
