Family-friendly vacation rentals in Spodnje Gorje

The house was beautifully appointed and included everything we needed. It felt luxurious but comfortable and we would all definitely come back and recommend to others. It was a great location with a short walk to the lake and into town. Thank you Jus for a wonderful stay!

The wellness retreat was a real getaway in Slovenia! The place was spotless and surrounded by beautiful nature. The little town had a supermarket with everything you need. The house was beautiful and had a lot of facilities. We made good use of the big and well-equipped kitchen, indoors and outdoors. A BBQ and outdoor stone oven to make real summer meals! The saunas were a real addition to our holiday. Igor always replied really fast to our questions and text and was a very welcoming person.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city - this is it! We had a great time at Martina's and Egon's lovely home. I got excited about the terrace that overlooks the forest. The outdoor kitchen area, the hot tub under open sky and Martina's delicious food have been more than add-on's to our stay in Idrija. :)

We feel lucky to have stayed at this house—the views really are just as stunning as they are in the pictures. Boža and Dušan were very welcoming and we had everything we needed to really settle in for a few nights—the kitchen, for example, was very well furnished with all sorts of practical implements for real cooking (i.e. not just a few dull knives and a single ladle rattling around in otherwise empty drawers). We really appreciated the house's easy access to Italy, Austria, and of course the rest of northwestern Slovenia—it offers a great combination of dramatic mountain views and easy road access (so no daredevil driving up and down steep and rocky rural roads every time you want to get some groceries). I'm sure the house is lovely in all seasons, but it was especially enjoyable to take a dip in the jacuzzi with an overnight frost settling in and then cozy up by the fireplace inside.

We had a great stay at the house - it was our first trip to Slovenia and staying in such a beautiful location made it even better. The hot tub was amazing but be warned it does take a good few hours to heat up and when we were there, there was only logs to get the fire going, we had to buy news paper and firestarters, so just bear in mind that a trip to Bovec may be necessary. Only other thing to mention was when we checked out we struggled to find the waste bin the host mentioned that was up the hill - the nearest other bin place didn’t do general waste (recycling etc only) so we had to drive a little bit with the black bag in the car. Otherwise though it was amazing and would definitely recommend.

It's a nice apartment where you can relax. You can easily go around from there and visit different places. Tadeja is very nice and accommodating. She is very proactive and gives a lot of information.

The location of the apartment is absolutely amazing. You are in the middle of the nature, enjoying breathtaking landscape and stunning mountain view. From time to time animals pass by and say hello - so peaceful it is. The apartment is well equipped, built with quality material and thoughtfully designed. The communication with the host is fast and easy. We highly recommend.

You cannot beat the location of this apartment - simply incredible and within steps of the lake and a main swimming area. The address in Google maps took us to the apartment next door (called apartment bee) - this apartment is actually the Orange house right next to apartment bee and Zdravko was waiting for us when we arrived. The parking on site is also a huge benefit as parking can be difficult to find when it is busy. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Bled area!

Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. The cabin was amazing, Mita is a great host and checks you in and shows you to the cabin which was helpfull as we arrived in the evening it was dark and would have been more difficult if he didn't guided us. The rooms within the cabin were extreamly comfortable and both bedrooms had a balcony which gave outstanding views of the mountains around. This is the perfect location if you enjoy hiking or walking as there are many trails and mountains that's can be hiked. It is an extremely peaceful area, I would highly recommend.

Apartment is really cool and in a quiet location. It is easy to walk to the lake and also Bled. The provided parking spaces are a cool amenity.

Anze’s chalet was the perfect place to spend Christmas and Anze was an incredible host. The chalet had more than enough space for our group of 9 and was clean, comfortable and has the most incredible views of the lake. The location is great as it’s peaceful and private, but walking distance to the town, train station and ski bus. Although small, the kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal and the laundry has two washing machines and two driers. Anze is a very generous host. He was flexible with both check-in and out times, left lovely treats for us, and was kind enough to organise and Christmas tree and decorations so our children could decorate a tree for Christmas. He was also quick to respond to messages both in the lead-up and during our stay. We were all very sad to leave after a wonderful Christmas week at Anze’s.

Very nice base to explore Ljubljana. Nice and spacious house, beautiful garden, everything is thoughtfully decorated, we lacked nothing. Excellent value for money too.

Everything was super nice and quiet. The private lake access equipped with loungers and even a pedal boat was just perfect. We had a great few days, unfortunately too few. Would have liked to stay. Cycling is great and you can use the garage to park. I'm sure we'll be back.

After a little struggle with finding the place, not really the fault of the host's directions, the reward was enormous. not a big space but the views were astonishing. The space was adequate, with functional kitchen and amenities and beautifully presented, but it was the outside which makes this place amazing. We didn't want to leave and neither will you.

Amazing couple of days stay in Most Na Soci. Property was sizeable and had all the utilities we needed. Host was amazing and was kind enough to give us a lift too and from the train station when we arrived and departed. Couldn’t recommend more!

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

Tanja is super nice and we felt very comfortable in her apartment. Everything is very tasteful and the garden invites you to linger. The surroundings are ideal for sports and nature lovers. She gave us valuable tips for activities and so we had a nice, relaxed time. We'll be happy to come back.

Had a wonderful stay with Ulrike, where we stayed a few days for my husband's Iron Man nearby. We were very warmly welcomed, Ulrike and her husband are very sweet people and you can ask them anything. The photos match very well with what you can expect. Everything you needed was present and everything was very clean on arrival. It was also a wonderfully fresh accommodation, which came in handy during the hot days. Nice terrace to sit and eat outside. Ulrike and her husband are really so sweet and kind. Always a very warm and pleasant contact when you meet them. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see nearby: located near the Wörtersee, Maria Wörth (beautiful church on the lake), Pyramidenkogel (viewing tower with a view over the entire Wörtersee), near Klagenfurt, Velden, supermarket,... We greatly enjoyed our stay! Thank you! :)
