Farmstay vacation rentals in Southern France

Nous avons passés un superbe séjour dans le logement de Maël. Tout était parfait : l'accueil très agréable, les services sur place et les petites attentions (devenues très rares), le calme et le charme de la maison mais aussi la réactivité des échanges. Tout juste rentrés, que nous avons déjà recommandés la maison à nos amis. Au plaisir de revenir !

What a gem of a place and hosts! We traveled to quite a few places during our 2.5 week trip through Europe, and this was by far our favorite stay. Located in the Luberon Valley in the medieval town of Ménerbes, Provence, you only had to look outside of your window to see the vibrant purple shades of the blooming summer lavenders and lavandines. The stay was well appointed with everything you’d need, and the private courtyard provided breathtaking views of the valleys and nearby mountains. The town and stay are rich in history - you’ll enjoy learning about it from hosts Maria and Francois, who are absolutely delightful. A beautiful breakfast of local fresh fruits, pastries, eggs and yogurt was provided, which gave us enough fuel for a long day of walking and sightseeing. My favorite part of it all were the conversations we had with Maria and Francois over breakfast - they’re quite charming and funny; we exchanged stories of our lives and travels. Highly recommend this stay!

Einmalig. Sehr schön gelegen, ruhig, direkter Zugang ins Meer oder 5 min zum Sandstrand Renécros. Sehr angenehme und schnelle Kommunikation mit Sébastien. Einzig: ich bin 190 gross, die Betten oben über die Schiffsleiter sind mit 170 cm Deckenhöhe eine Lektion in Demut. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Wir und unser Hund haben uns von Sekunde 1 super wohlgefühlt. Mit einem Wein aus dem Eigenen Weinanbau wurden wir begrüsst und haben den Wein auf der wunderbaren Terrasse verkostet :) Alles ist unfassbar schön eingerichtet und gepflegt und die Küche hatte alles was wir brauchten inkl. lecker Kaffee am Morgen ☕️ Parken direkt am Haus war für uns ein grosses Plus. Tracey hat uns noch ganz tolle Tips gegeben für ein Weingut und ein Restaurant für Trüffelpasta 😍. Sie war immer erreichbar und hat super schnell geantwortet. Wir kommen gerne wieder ! Danke Tracey

One of the most beautiful places we have stayed in Switzerland with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Given that it is nestled in a secluded area to get such views, it would be best to drive . Also, the house is pretty much an open concept (i.e no curtains or doors segregating the bedrooms and kitchen) but we didn't mind it one bit and it was great for a family stay! House was big and well equipped and it was very convenient to get around to all the iconic tourists attractions (being 30 min drive away to almost everywhere - Oeschinensee, Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen). We brought along our 2-year old maltipoo and the surrounding areas was perfect for morning walks to take in the fresh air and amazing scenery.

Our stay at Michel’s was amazing and we wish we had stayed longer! Michel himself went the extra mile when we needed help. Could not recommend staying here more!

Our stay at Château de Castelnau-Valence was truly magical - like stepping into another century. Surrounded by peaceful nature and vineyards, the château offers a rare blend of history, tranquility and charm. We had the entire place to ourselves, which made it feel even more like our own private castle retreat :) The host was exceptional - friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about his family’s heritage. He greeted us with the glass of wine and took the time to give us a personal tour of the castle. The apartment was spacious, clean and full of character. Every corner felt special! If you r looking for a unique and peaceful escape with the personal touch and a deep sense of place, I highly recommend!

We hebben met ons gezin van vier een anderhalve week verbleven bij Myriam en Nicolas en hebben hier een fantastische tijd beleefd. Ze zijn enorm gastvrij, flexibel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huis is ruim, zeer proper en biedt prachtige uitzichten. Daarenboven is het zwembad groot en kijkt deze mooi uit op de vallei. Ook in de regio zijn er allerlei mooie dorpjes en kastelen te bezoeken. Zeker aan te bevelen!

Aux petit soins, voilà les termes que l'on peut utiliser pour ce logement. Un lieu insolite, au calme, avec tout le confort possible surtout la literie, et le petit poêle ! Une salle de bain cosy, moitié intérieure, moitié extérieure (la discrétion dans la nature). Tout a été pensé par Linday et son mari pour pouvoir déconnecter dans la bulle mais avoir accès à l'électricité grâce au coin salle de bain ! Ce petit séjour en amoureux nous a ressourcé, je conseille très fortement et je reviendrai avec plaisir !

Das kleine Haus in den Bergen Zahnradbahn - perfekt um in dieses entspannte Dorf zu kommen Der Geruch des Häuschens verspricht sofort entspannende Stunden Die Dusche ist die reinste Form von Wellness - heiss, schöner Duschstrahl und auf Wunsch die Regenwaldbrause Klein und fein - finde ich treffend Hühnerparadies - ALLES wird verwertet. Ausser Fleisch Grün - hinter jedem Fenster erwartet dich wunderschönes grün Und dann diese Ruhe - nur das zwitschern der Vögel Rosen, direkt vor dem Eingang - jeden Tag blühen neue, und die duften verführerisch Diese kleinen Details - so stelle ich mir ein zu Hause vor In der Nacht der Regen der auf das Dach prasselt - so heimelig und umhüllend Ja die Küche - alles da was ein Kochherz erfreut, einfach starten Mein Ziel - dieses Häuschen zu jeder Jahreszeit einmal erleben!

Séjour très agréable. Un joli moment passé au calme.

Petit week-end pour fêter nos 20 ans de mariage, aucun regret sur le choix du logement proposé par Charlotte et Mathieu. Dépaysement total, lieu niché au cœur de la nature. L’atelier des rêves a été aménagé avec beaucoup de soin, le lever de soleil est magnifique! Charlotte est très réactive, nous recommandons vivement ce lieu.

Nous avons passé une magnifique nuit auprès des renards, le logement est magnifique, très bien agencé et le cadre est dépaysant. Les renards s'approche très près, il est facile de les apercevoir ☺️ Nous avons passé un très bon moment dont nous nous souviendront longtemps 🦊

Wir sind zum vierten Mal bei Angelo und es wird auch wieder ein nächstes Mal geben! Angelo ist ein ganz liebevoller, herzlicher Gastgeber und für uns ein richtiger Freund geworden. Alles ist immer perfekt, unkompliziert und fast wie ein nach Hause kommen. Es ist einfach traumhaft auf seiner Cascina Ca' Rossa: das schöne Weingut, die traumhaft große, sehr gepflegte Wohnung und der wunderbare Pool sind für uns eine absolute Oase. Hier steckt überall soviel Liebe drin. Wir haben immer unsere Räder dabei, denn es gibt unglaublich viele schöne Touren und Ziele. Auch Canale ist fußläufig zu erreichen und bietet eine wahnsinnige Vielfalt an einfacher bis zu höchster piemontesicher Gourmetküche. Einfach traumhaft:-)

Wir haben uns bei Christian und Maria sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick beim Essen war wunderschön und wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben, wurde immer schnell geholfen. Man ist mit dem Auto gut zu vielen Wanderrouten gekommen, aber auch direkt vor der Haustüre gab es Wanderwege. Schön und durchdachter Bauwagen, der für 1-2 Personen perfekt ist, wenn man vor allem Wert auf Natur und Entspannen legt.

We had a wonderful time in this chateau! It was beautiful and really peaceful. We enjoyed staying in our own private wing, and really relaxed whilst we were there, having meals outside with just the sounds of the birds for company. Inside the chateau was simply fantastic; just as in the pictures. Marie-Laurence could not have been more helpful and really made us feel at home and giving us info on the area and things that were happening locally whilst we were there. We had a great time touring the area - from local towns and cities, to the coast and countryside. Perfect! Highly recommended!!!

Château très agréable , très belle propriété. Et beau jardin avec des arbres magnifiques . Maria nous fait un tour des caves et dégustation de vin, ce qui était très intéressant . Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la gentillesse de maria et de sa maman qui étaient toujours soucieuses que notre séjour soit parfait

Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, ist hier richtig. Von der Terasse aus hat man einen sehr schönen Blick auf Täler und Hügel. Nicole hat den Garten um das schöne alte Haus herum sehr schön angelegt. Ende Mai hat dort viel geblüht und ein permanentes Vogelkonzert war zu hören. Nicole war sehr, sehr nett und aufmerksam. Sie hat uns mit Gartenkräutern und Eiern von ihren wunderbaren Hühnern versorgt. Wir haben auch die Gesellschaft der Tiere dort sehr genossen, den Eseln, der Stute, den Hunden und Katzen. In der Nähe gibt es auch einige Schafherden mit Pyrenäenberghunden. Die Wohnung war sehr schön renoviert und gestaltet. Nicole hat einen sehr guten Geschmack und die Wohnung liebevoll mit Antiquitäten aus der Region eingerichtet und dekoriert. Und selbstverständlich stand auf dem Tisch ein schöner Blumenstrauß aus dem Garten. Wir waren knapp eine Woche da und wären gerne länger geblieben.

The outside areas of the property are as comfortable as the inside. All the rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped for preparing meals. There is every piece of equipment you would need. There was plenty of hot water and the fire was a lovely addition for chilly evenings. There are also lots of kitchen supplies to get you started or bathroom necessities in case you forgotten anything. The garden isn't fenced but this didn’t cause us any issues with our dogs. The protection dogs across the road are secured behind fences and didnt cause us any problems. We found them very friendly once you'd be there for a couple of days. We would definitely recommend staying here, Valerie is delightful.

Ici la télé est remplacée par une baie vitrée donnant sur une vue superbe. Ciel étoilé, chants d'oiseaux, grenouilles, lueurs magnifiques sur les montagnes environnantes ont accompagné notre séjour. Pas de console non plus, mais une grande salle avec table de ping pong, billard, billard hollandais, baby foot et autres jeux sont disponibles pour agrémenter vos fins de journées (merci Kees de nous avoir fait découvrir le billard hollandais :)). Et que dire de nos hôtes, Kees et Renée ? Des personnes attentionnées, chaleureuses et lumineuses qui méritent d'être connues ( enfin pas trop parce que nous avons bien l'intention de revenir, alors gardez-nous une petite place ;) ) Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Mas Mialou.

‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

Had a wonderful stay, really enjoyed our visit and how quiet and peaceful the location was. The hosts were very friendly and responsive! The house is pretty and has a spacious outdoor space. Country side location, that offers privacy but still a close drive to beach towns. Typical Spanish country house, with modern updates. Keep in mind you have to climb some steep stairs for upstairs bedroom. Living area, kitchen, and beds were very comfortable. Gracias por todo!

Hallo, wir waren zu zweit für 5 Tage dort. Es waren Tolle Tage. Die Wohnung ist perfekt. Ganz besonders hat uns die lockere Atmosphäre gefallen. Tolle Einrichtung, sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Großzügige Unterkunft. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln Wir kommen gerne wieder. Gudrun & Stefan aus Deitschland
