Go off to explore the lovely medieval village of Saint-Emilion, listed as World Heritage Site by Unesco, and visit two wineries (a top winery classified Grand Cru Classé and a family-run estate Grand Cru) during a 5 hours guided tour with me, a fun & knowledgeable local guide speaking English. Your tour includes 2 wineries visit (introduction about the history of the estate and technical informations about how to make the wine), 5 wines tasting minimum in total and a French aperitif (cheese, cured meat & bread at the 1° or 2nd winery) OR sweet specialities from Bordeaux macaroons from Saint-Emilion & cannelés depending on the day of the visit. I will drive through the vineyard of Saint-Emilion in my van and we will visit together the famous medieval village dating from the Middle Age. The wine tours are in English & French. A wander in town while enjoying stopping in 4 incredible places to enjoy tasting some very local and special food and drinks. As we go along town, we will have our first stop in the most incredible place in Antibes for the "aperitif" : the absinthe bar. This bar is generally closed during the day but we have special access for an interesting and exclusive tasting there! Then we move to a place dedicated to a very special dish in the area. Followed by a stop in a wine bar where we will make sure that you enjoy some local wines! Last stop will be in a typical restaurant (who's producing his own veggies) for a tasting of local delicacies as well as a local drink. This is the ultimate experience to enjoy and have access to the best places in town for local dishes... In between the stops, I'll show you some good parts of Antibes and give you some landmarks and recommend some good places so as you can feel like a local. This tour is based on a friendly experience meeting new people and having fun while discovering Antibes and its stories and fun facts. Want to see it all in one day? This tour is for you! Together we will visit three wineries from 3 different appelations, sampling some of the best wines of the region. From the famous Margaux to Saint-Emilion! We will stop for a typical picnic style lunch by the vines at one of the estates. You will be served local produce along with two glasses of the estate's wine. (vegetarian options on request). You will also get the chance to discover the marvellous UNESCO classified village of Saint-Emilion (approximately one hour guided tour). The quality of the chateaux selected and the informartion given on this tour will make this day in Bordeaux memorable! The abundance of existing cheeses allows each of us to find what we are looking for. But how should you really taste a cheese? In order to pass for an expert with those around you, I will accompany you to the discovery of four essential cheeses. During the tasting, we will examine in order: the visual, olfactory and taste components of the different cheese specialties, taking into account the importance of each criterion for its overall assessment. But, it does not stop at simple sensory examination, it is a total immersion in traditions and cultures unique in the world. The tasting will also be followed by a pleasant, convivial and gourmet moment around a selection of two wines, accompanied by homemade dishes.

There is a magnificent view of the Alps, the Mediterranean Sea and the Var Valley. 2. Learn how wine is made. I will tell you how grapes are grown and what you need to know about vineyards. We will visit a wine cellar, where I will explain in detail each stage of wine production. I will show where fermentation begins, how the grapes are pressed, and where the wine is aged. After all the detailed explanations, it will be easier for you to understand what you are drinking and why you feel these flavours. 3. Taste great wine. We will taste magnificent wines from one of the most exceptional and smallest appellations in France.
