Unique home - views and idyllic by the water

LiisaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We spent a wonderful long midsummer weekend in this lovely cottage by the sea. It is very thoughtfully decorated, reflecting the colors of nature outside the windows, and has everything you need to be comfortable. The cottage is located next to a lively little harbor with a café in the summer season, a small beach, and a jetty from which one can take a swim. Nonetheless, the two outdoor seating areas next to the cottage are peaceful and private and allow you to enjoy both morning and afternoon/evening sun. If you have any questions or need anything, the very nice and attentive hosts live next door. There is free parking nearby and grocery shops are about 10 minutes away by car. We feel refreshed and relaxed after our stay in this tranquil cottage and look forward to coming back sometime soon.

We stayed here for a family gathering for a few days and found it to be the most wonderful reprieve from the world - cozy, private, and surrounded by beautiful gardens/ yards/ forest. This manor gave us all the chance to reconnect with nature and reconnect with each other. Frederik was a very accommodating, gracious, and responsive host; answering all our questions leading up to and during our stay. For those of you looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation I would highly recommend. You will need a car to get to the property from the Sakskobing station, but it is relatively easy to get to Copenhagen with the trains if you intend to go into the city as well. Overall, our entire group is eager is to come back and enjoy this gem of a property

Architect-designed house close to the sea and nature

Mørten's place is great for families with kids. The little ones can let off steam with trampoline and gates in the garden while the parents can relax in the quiet location from everyday stress. The accommodation is super relaxed and even has more than enough toys for the little ones. The huge dining table central in the main room is great for eating and playing together.
A single-story black cottage is surrounded by a well-kept lawn and flowering shrubs, creating a serene outdoor space. Two chairs and a small table are placed on the patio, inviting relaxation. A dog lays peacefully on the grass, adding a touch of warmth to the scene.
