Pet-friendly vacation rentals in South Side

Very comfy apartment in a great neighborhood. We were in town for a baseball game and it’s a terrific place for that, just about a 20-minute walk to Wrigley Field. The only thing to be concerned about is the stairs: there are two flights to get into the apartment and they’re fairly steep and small, so if you have mobility issues that would be a concern. I don’t and had no problem. Karen is a lovely host and was very helpful when I was getting into the place and unloading my stuff from my car. There are tons of restaurants and coffee shops in the area, so it’s a great place to explore and hang out.

Highly recommended.... House was a really nice spot to stay at.... If ever back in town I'll definitely book back with them....

We enjoyed our stay. The place is located in a convenient location close to many shops and restaurants and just around the corner from an L station. The home was very spacious and comfy for our short stay. You can hear the train in the house however it wasn’t bothersome even for our toddlers when they were asleep.

Great place! Liz was really nice. I had trouble getting into the home. Liz called me, reset lock remotely and helped me get in. The house was pristine, and really cozy. We had a great time and highly recommend this to anyone interested.

Nice house with updates. We used all four bedrooms, so everyone had their own space. Kitchen and living room looked nice, but a bit cozy if everyone was in the space at the same time. There was a large breakfast nook/counter in the kitchen instead of a table. More dishes, mugs, etc. in the kitchen would have been nice. The coffee maker and provided K-cups were great! Would definitely stay again if it's available when we are in the area again.

Couldn’t find a better spot for me. I’m from LIlINCOLN PARK Chicago. I go every year for my birthday, right in the heart of things with a great view, very clean. The set up in the apartment was awesome. Will be back.

This was the best place for our family to stay during our time in Chicago. We decided to pay top dollar for all the amenities that this place had to offer. First of all, the view from the balcony on the 28th (top) floor definitely takes your breath away. A factor thar caused us to go with this Airbnb vs others was the parking that was included in the parking garage. We did not want to risk trying to find parking daily since we were not sure about the parking situation in Chicago. There were A/C units in each room and the living room which kept the place cool during our stay and also created white noise which drowned out the sound of the train that traveled right beside the building. Location of this place was also perfect. We walked to cloudgate 20min. Also there is a Trader Joe’s grocery store 7min walk. There are popular places within a block distance to get your chicago pizza/hot dog fix. I can go on and on about how this place was awesome to create an unforgettable memory

This home was super cozy for my big family. Everything was clean, comfortable, and the way it is set up makes you feel right at home. This home had everything we needed. TV’s, kitchen items, recommendations, and even fun family games and activities to do. Every time I visit the area I’ll be checking to see if it’s available. 10/10

This spot is in a great location — just a short, easy walk to and from Soldier Field, and convenient for grabbing an Uber to explore other parts of Chicago. The split master bedrooms with private bathrooms are a great feature, especially for groups wanting a bit of privacy. A couple of suggestions: it would be nice to have TVs in the bedrooms (just a personal preference), and the living room could use either a larger couch or an extra chair to comfortably seat four adults. Communication with TAIMS was excellent — they were quick to respond to all our messages. The only hiccup was parking: it was a bit confusing because the street address didn't match the address listed on the parking garage sign. Once we figured it out, it was fine, but clearer instructions would definitely help future guests.

Kevin and Kayla’s unit on W Diversey Ave was a cozy and convenient spot for our Chicago trip. The space was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed, with quick access to buses and the Blue Line. The only minor downside was some occasional dog-walking noise from the unit above, but as it has already been mentioned before, it is to be expected. Mattresses were a bit wobbly for our tastes but it's a matter of preference. Overall a great, cozy place on a very convenient location in Chicagoland. What really stood out was Kevin’s excellent hosting—he went out of his way to make us feel at home, regularly checking if we needed anything, and was quick to help in-person when we had a small hiccup on our last day. Super responsive and friendly and a true host!

Convenient to Hyde Park and the University of Chicago, the home was incredibly clean. I was a little worried since this is the hosts' primary home, but the kitchen was clutter-free, and the bedrooms had plenty of room for our personal items. It was also great to have a guaranteed parking spot in a gated area. The owner was proactively communicative, and everything was just as described. The rental easily fit our family of five. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is awesome. Plenty of space for big groups and the host replies really fast. Wes and his place are awesome. If I go back to Chicago in the future, I’d consider staying here again. 100% recommend!

For basics, it is very clean and comfortable with a well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and easy street parking. The space itself is remarkable. Patterned tin walls and ceilings, a triangular shape, nicely decorated, and the construction details from converting it to an apartment are all in keeping with the style. We loved it.

Me my freinds and family enjoyed our stay. The host was very quick to respond to any concerns. The home was clean and spacious. The decor was nice to take pictures. I liked that it had a bathroom downstairs for easy assess. We will come back when we visit Chicago again. Thanks you guy you were awesome.

My family and I stayed at Lisa's place while attending my son's graduation, and we enjoyed our stay. Lisa and her team are pleasant, helpful, and attentive. And the unit is clean, spacious, well-appointed, and centrally-located. We found it easy to travel to and from UChicago via car in under 10 minutes, so attending graduation activities was a snap. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lisa's place, especially if you're headed to Hyde Park or Bronzeville.

Great location. Near grocery store, great restaurants in the heart of Pilsen, and the green/pink line to get to downtown Chicago.
