Perfect, old-school beach getaway! We loved parking ourselves on the “lifeguard stand built for two” and just watching: the waves, the wildlife, the surfers, the sky…soooo relaxing and just what we needed to unwind for a few days. We loved the laid back vibe of the place and the hosts!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob's place! It was just as advertised, clean and welcoming. The balcony over the river is where we put in the most hours, just watching the changes in the river, the various boats, and people-watching on the river walk. Everything we did was within minutes of the condo...great restaurants and shopping. Bob provided plenty of info and recommendations for eating and sightseeing. We were there on Memorial Day and could easily see the USS North Carolina lit up in red, white and blue. Even though it was cloudy/rainy most of the time, the awning on the balcony kept us dry and comfortable. A couple of time we had questions for Bob and he was immediately responsive and helpful. It was just the relaxing getaway we were hoping for! We would recommend this spot anytime for 2 guests!

The host was very responsive and the place was great all around. Views are amazing, parking is out front of the unit. This spot is one of the best for the price and worked well for three people for two nights. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in town.

My stay was great. The fishing was good even though I didn't catch the big one😄. Very quiet area. inside was really cute and accommodating for two people. It was a fun trip. Thank you for allowing us to share your home.

Audrey provided clear check-in instructions and was quick to give us important information about parking. Audrey was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The property is conveniently located right on the river walk just a quick walk away from boat tours, restaurants, bars and everything else the historic district has to offer, but it was set just far away enough to where nights were peaceful and our sleep was never interrupted.

This is a great place to get away. I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a good view. I would definitely come here again and the owners are always responsive.

The unit was comfortable and clean, location was key for us (access to Wrightsville Beach area) as well as being dog friendly. Walkable to restaurants is a great perk. No issues with parking availability and access to the unit was smooth/easy with the keypad entrance. Great value for the location.

Such a fantastic place, right on the beach! They have everything you need, including wake boards, chairs, umbrella. Just a beautiful place on the ocean!!! My second time back, and I'll go a third!!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and made great use of space, perfect for our large group. The location was ideal with easy access to shops, beaches, and lots of great local spots. The dock was a huge hit for fishing, and the kids absolutely loved the garage game room with ping pong, corn hole, and ladder ball. Emily was excellent with communication and clearly put a lot of care into making the space family-friendly. Highly recommend!

What a delightful experience! The house was as advertised and more. Kate provided many thoughtful touches (easy entertainment navigating, extra kitchen and food treats, fully stocked kitchen and cooking aids, games, beach supplies), which were wonderful surprises. She operates a pet friendly house, with pet supplies too. The location is marvelous, and the Surf City beaches are wonderful. She truly is a five star hostess, and this lovely home is perfect for a family/pet holiday.

We had a wonderful stay and cannot recommend this home enough! Excellent access to the beach and the home has everything you could need and so much more! Hosts were very easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We would love to come back!

Nothing beats waking up and immediately being able to see the Atlantic Ocean, great location! The kitchen has been recently redone, which was nice and spacious. The back balcony was half roofed so it was a nice place to sit away from the sun to take in the view. It was peaceful and quiet, everyone around us was respectful of everyone else’s surroundings. It was a blessing being able to take our dog with us on this trip. She felt comfortable in the house and fell in love with the beach!

Being on the beach was awesome! We enjoyed sunrises from the hot tub, going right down our stairs to the sand, walks to the pier, evenings on the deck… It was the perfect setting for our little reunion! The house is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. Location is also super convenient to food & coffee & seafood market. The only surprises were that our space was attached to another house (neighbors were very quiet, respectful, and friendly) and that we had to make our own beds upon arrival and remove bedding before check out. Overall, Emily’s house made our time with people we love even more fun & easy! She was a communicative, helpful host and we appreciate her sharing her home!

We loved everything about the home and location. The pool table and river brought a lot of laughs and memories made. The hosts were helpful and very responsive. We had an amazing time and thankful for the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home.

Meghan is the best! Her hospitality is top notch — we could not have had any better. She is friendly, accommodating and gave wonderful recommendations for local eateries and attractions. The house is so cozy, clean and comfy— we felt right at home. We honestly didn’t want to leave. She messaged us right before check in to welcome us and let us know about wonderful updates to the house. Also, we just have to mention the deck view is fantastic for sunrise/sunset! So close to the beach and relaxed community. We would HIGHLY recommend!! 5 stars all around🤩❤️

Carmen was wonderful to work with! The only downside was there was really no beach with high tide due to erosion. We made the best of it and found a public access a little further away and had a great time. The place was adorable and we felt incredibly safe the whole time. Would definitely book this place again!

The hosts accommodated my husband and I on a super last minute getaway. The condo was wonderful. It was in a peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle. It was very clean, well stocked, with comfy beds and nice furniture. We didn’t use the pool because we were too busy enjoying the beach. The balcony was wonderful to enjoy in the morning having coffee overlooking the ocean. We’d definitely love to return.

Suze and John are such a pleasant couple and went above and beyond to meet our needs! They both are kind and helpful. They were prompt in their responses and in servicing an appliance need. The space felt like home and is definitely blessed! The view of the ocean and being able to walk right out to the water was wonderful!!! Very clean and organized. Clam Chowder is a comfy little slice of heaven! We will return!! Thank you and Bless you friends!

We stayed for an extended weekend and couldn’t have been happier with our choice! The view is amazing, the beds/furniture comfy and they have everything you need here. If you have a piece of beach gear that is a must have then certainly bring it, but there’s nothing to worry about here, they have you covered - chairs, umbrella, beach towels, beach toys for the kiddos, etc. Only slight snag we had was with the WiFi, but a quick message and turnaround response and a workaround was in place. Definitely one of our favorite Airbnb experiences!

We enjoyed our stay at Bee and Joe's. It looked just like the photos and everything was so clean. We took our 2 yo and 8 yo and they absolutely loved it. It felt like home and the kids room was the perfect setup with the bunk beds and trundle. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean from the condo. We could also see the ocean from the main bedroom windows. The washer and dryer were very handy. The location is amazing and close to so many places to eat. It's very close to Surf City and other great surrounding areas. The beach is literally steps away and made it so easy to go back to the condo if we happened to leave something behind or someone had to use the restroom. Bee and Joe were very responsive. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again.

Celebrated my 1st Mother’s Day here. The home was cute & clean, perfect for a quick getaway. This was our 1st time visiting Topsail beach & we found that the tide gets pretty high around 4pm so we had to clear the beach early in the day. Highly recommend trying the crab legs at Madison’s, they were delicious! Thanks for letting us stay in your home!

Unit is great for a visit to the beach. Convenient access, quiet, great parking. Upstairs Mstr BrRm xlt. Dwnstairs BdRm only allows suitcase space on floor. Kitchen is fully furnished, usable & made food prep easy. Clean up rules eliminate cleaning fees IMO. I'd stay again.
