Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

We had a wonderful holiday at Peter & Inge's. They are fantastic hosts, starting with the warm welcome where we immediately felt welcome and "at home" to the friendly communication on various issues. The apartment is perfect for a family vacation and we lacked nothing. The location of the apartment invites you to take a walk in the dunes as well as to the nearby beach. Day trips to Volendam, Alkmaar or Medemblik are also available and are highly recommended. We enjoyed the time in this gem very much and thank Peter & Inge for the warm hospitality. We would be delighted if you would welcome us again as guests.

We had a great stay! The apartment is in a quiet and natural environment, is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Everything was sparkling clean and well cared for. The location is ideal: you are in Harlingen and Franeker in no time. Ympkje is an incredibly friendly and thoughtful host, who is always ready. We felt immediately welcome. Fantastic apartment, really clean and comfortable in a great neighbourhood: peaceful but walking distance to everything you could need. Loes and Fokke are wonderful hosts, warm and helpful- we had a brilliant few days exploring the city from the perfect base.

“My stay at Evert’s place was 10/5 stars. The location is wonderful - right on the canal, down the street from a lovely cafe and flower shop and central to popular and nontouristy attractions alike. Evert is a wonderful and warm host who has meticulously curated a beautiful and homey flat. He provides extensive resources on the artistic hidden gems of Amsterdam within the flat’s book collection, which I found helpful and charming. The flat is on the second floor of the building owned by Evert and looks onto the canal. Evert welcomed me and showed me how to access the property so I could come and go as I pleased and had the independence and privacy that I desired. Would be a dream to stay here again.

One of my best experiences with AirBnB accommodations, the host was always available and responded quickly, the accommodation was a dream from the amenities to the location on site. Enkhuizen is a beautiful city. And Bart’s place is very central. Everything in the city is a 15 minute walk! Bright home with lots of options for enjoying a meal inside or on the patio. Would highly recommend as a place to stay!

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room give a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you don't want to go on a trip, but just want to stay in the apartment.

Very nice location, very close to the city center. Important to note is that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the further surroundings with public transportation. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet area and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful time at this Airbnb! The house was just like in the photos – very clean, cozy and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We particularly enjoyed the view of the water, which made the stay really special. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, communication went smoothly and we felt welcome from the beginning. Small extras such as a welcome greeting and local tips were also a nice surprise. We would come back anytime and can absolutely recommend this house!

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

The accommodation completely convinced us: very clean, everything you need for a holiday week, very comfortable beds, great bathroom, appealing outdoor area. Very friendly, uncomplicated hosts, always available and with proactive tips, e.g. on the changed route. We can fully recommend Micaela and John's house.

Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

We had a great stay! Hugo was easy to contact, gave us many local recommendations, and easy to follow directions. The place was clean, had a great view, and is on a quiet street. Location was great, very walkable to all of the main tourist attractions. We were worried about not having a tv but didn’t miss it. Just a heads up to people in the U.S.-bring wash cloths to Europe. All 3 of the Airbnb’s that we stayed at did not provide them. I read that they consider it a personal item, like a toothbrush, and expect you to bring your own. Thank you Hugo!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

We had a great time. On the weekend, it was sometimes very loud because many tuners met in the parking lot opposite. During the week it was super quiet and we will be happy to come back
