Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Skaftö

I booked for one week at Katarina & Maria’s cottage. Not only I had a warm & kind welcome but Maria went out of her way to help me with a car issue I had that would have otherwise ruined my vacation. Forever grateful for this ! The cottage is a very charming & quiet place with two private decks where you will enjoy your coffee with a book or your meal. Really blissful ! It is well appointed with all you may need and immaculate clean, the decor is pretty and calming. I particularly enjoyed my evenings at candlelight ! There’s an ICA nearby, and all the Grundsund sightseeing and restaurants are within walking distance. You can go on a post-dinner walk to watch the sunset on the harbor or even hike the beautiful coastal trail to Fiskebäckskil. I absolutely loved my restful stay at Katarina and Maria’s !

Small old house that has been modernized, is located in a residential area but is completely undisturbed. Easy to get to, close to the stop if you go by bus. No transparency. Good small well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Glimpses of sea view from bedrooms and living room. Walking distance to everything. A small simple patio. Ingrid is a friendly host who informs well for check-in and check-out. Responds to questions and informs if there's anything special. I enjoy this home. Perfect accommodation for a few nice days in Lysekil for walks and cafe visits, etc. Västerhavpromenomenaden and restaurant Terass Niwa and several others are recommended.

Everything was as described and expected. Very flexibel, inconvenient and easy. Andreas showed up after check in for a personal chat. We felt very welcomed and comfortable.

Super cozy accommodation. The location speaks for itself. Cozy and fresh decor. There is everything you could need in the kitchen, it was also very nice to sleep with the sound of the sea so close outside. (Very good sound insulation with windows and balcony door closed). The lovely view at the private jetty was beyond expectations. Can really recommend. Just when we were here it was blowing a lot, so bring a jacket for the walk, but once the sun was out it was really lovely. Note, Lotta's Sourdough Bakery, which is just a short walk away, can really be recommended for a cozy & really good breakfast.

A Swedish house as it should be, quietly located, wonderful view and cozy! The house is also used by the owners and that makes the difference, lovingly furnished, everything important and necessary was available. The kitchen is superbly furnished, nothing is missing here either. Outdoor spaces are available in every direction. Tjörn is really an island worth seeing, there is plenty to see, good bike paths and numerous cultural and historical sights. We will be happy to come back.

We had a really wonderful Easter stay, in Linnea's nice and well-equipped cabin. Great recommendation from here. We hope to come back another time.

This is a really excellent place. The apartment was really nice, clean, and cosy. The host had made excellent descriptions, and they were really nice. The surroundings were also really nice and quiet. There were many places to walk, a lot of nature. There are only positive things to say about this place :)

Lovely and clean apartment in a beautiful setting. The backyard and the sitting area outside are really beautiful and there is a little path, that just starts from the airbnb, where you have a stunning view over Rönnang and the little islands. Eli gave us some organic fruit when we left, she's a very nice host. Definitely recommend.

When I booked, I was stuck for the proximity to Smögenbryggan and guess if it was close; it was almost around the corner of the house & right out on the jetty. Perfect service and treatment. Quiet and quiet location in a beautiful setting. Feel free to come back here again to both the place and the accommodation.

We stayed here for two nights & it was perfect. We felt very comfortable & there was everything you need. Wonderful and very friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

A perfect accommodation for two. Wonderful view.. beautiful surroundings. A home. Comfortable bed, easy to cook simple food. Hanging out on the balcony, seagulls, the sea... people and eating shellfish... lots!

The accommodation was fanatical and we had a wonderful time there. So cozy and you can really relax. The garden is also beautiful. We also highly recommend checking out the tips in the area. For example, Stora Dyrön or the forest where you can hike and eat lunch. Everything is very loving in detail. We felt very refreshed in the 2 days there. I recommend this place 100%!

The place and location was as described.- We liked it and felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, there were some cleaning issues and you might want to consider whether cleaning by vacation guests is the best solution.

We have had a great time for 5 days in Gustav's great apartment on Rösholmen! The apartment felt like home, and had everything we needed and more. Lovely beds, practical and stylish decor, ingenious, hidden solutions to storage, and breathtaking views from the porch. Staying on an islet felt both limiting and liberating at the same time, as you rely on a boat to get to and from, but that was also what allowed you to completely relax and just enjoy your stay. The Zita boats went every half hour and were a great experience in itself. Recommend buying a clip card if you are going to be there for several days and want to go on excursions with the whole family. There was a lot of wind while we were there, but we got to take a day trip to beautiful Smögen with the Zita boat, spent a wonderful and long-awaited, almost quiet sunny day at the beach and the bathing jetty at Rösholmen, and otherwise enjoyed the sun and boating life from the porch.

Spent a weekend in the apartment which was in perfect walking distance to both harbor and grocery store. Smooth with associated parking. The apartment was bright and fresh, just what you want in early spring! Everything we needed was in the apartment. We are very satisfied

We felt super comfortable with Carina and Johan. We were even able to check in earlier - thanks again! The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Everything was very clean. In the garden you can sit very nicely in the sun. We will be happy to come back!

We recently spent a few days in Emma’s charming house and had a delightful experience. The house is spacious yet cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the essentials. The dining area is beautifully designed and adds a lovely touch to the space. We appreciated the convenience of having private parking. The surroundings are peaceful, with a supermarket nearby, and stunning stone formations just a five-minute drive away. Emma is an outstanding host—responsive, hospitable, and always ready to assist. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

Wonderful apartment with sea view and close to swimming. Nice terrace where we ate both dinner and breakfast. Comfortable beds. Ingela is a warm and welcoming host who helped with various tips on experiences in the surroundings. I'd love to come back here.

Accommodations were great for us for a few days stay on the west coast. It is just far enough from central Kungshamn that you will not be disturbed by nightlife but at the same time an okay walking distance to restaurants and taxi boats over to Smögen. There is also a swimming area right next to the accommodation to be able to take a swim. In the apartment's kitchen, there is everything needed to cook lighter meals and overall a well-equipped accommodation. We also received a very good and nice reception from Karin. Both in the thoughts we had, but also that she on her own urged us to let her know if there was anything. We were very pleased with the accommodation that suited our needs well. 🌸☀️

Lovely place and one of the best and kindest hosts I have ever had on all my Airbnb stays. 100% recommended!
