Studio Huis Roomolen is located at Roomolenstraat in the center of Amsterdam, a little street beween canals, yet; in the middle of things. Three large windows give a nice view over the Roomolenstraat. The size of the luxurious studio is 26m² including private kitchen, shower and toilet. Private roof terrace of 10m² at the backside enclosed by the neighbor buildings. The place is very warm and personal, perfectly suited for a single traveler or couple to retreat as well as to discover Amsterdam.

Wonderfully all luxury built studio-apartment situated in an Amsterdam monument dated from 1540, that was rebuilt in 1675. The studio is located at a very quiet alley on “Blaeu Erf", nearby Dam Square, in the oldest part of Amsterdam City Centre. This modern furnished studio room has a nice area to sit, a sleeping area and a kitchenette (no stove). All with original 17e century beams. Located on the third floor, this apartment has a real cosy atmosphere to unwind after a day exploring.

In the bright basement (with windows) of our unique canal house with façade-garden, on the corner of a canal and a square with large oak-trees you find this b&b wih lots of privacy, nice rooms and close to everywhere you would like to go! You enter the spacious entrance hall with table and coffee / tea supplies; with a private bathroom, separate toilet and a cozy bedroom / living room. Renovated with natural stone and wood. This house and this area are very photogenic.

This was a perfect place to stay, in every way! We loved the location, on an inner canal, and found it easy to walk everywhere. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within a block or two. The room is a beautiful, spacious and quiet, with a gorgeous view of the canal. The huge, modern bathroom was wonderful. We opened the windows and enjoyed coffee and the view each morning. Joost was a great host. He’s very friendly and was always responsive and helpful and accommodating. We were able to leave our luggage in a storage closet upon arrival a d departure.

Sebastian’s place is amazingly historic with beautiful tile murals. Spacious really and bathroom is huge & gorgeous! Pretty patio with flowers and hanging vines to look out at from 2 large windows. Next to a canal and very central to shopping, church squares and restaurants. Fridge and microwave came in handy. Easy access and Sebastian was very responsive when needed. We enjoyed our stay.

This is our second time staying at Tjakko’s place. We love it and it now holds a special place in our hearts. The location, the ambience, the views over the gardens. It has everything. There was a mixup in communication regarding storing our bags and checking, but Tjakko was amazing at sorting it out for us. He is a fabulous host. Thanks again Tjakko

We had a fantastic experience staying at this property! Emily was extremely kind, responsive, and proactive, making sure we were well-informed and comfortable throughout our stay. Communication was excellent from start to finish. The property was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—well-equipped and thoughtfully decorated. It’s in a great location, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. One thing to note: there is a steep staircase leading up to the apartment, which Emily had kindly informed us about in advance. It’s manageable, but we’d recommend avoiding large or heavy luggage if possible. Thank you for the warm hospitality and making our trip so enjoyable!

The location of the loft and the neighborhood is great. It’s located on the western side right in the city center and a great start to get around Amsterdam. We recommend to bring some cutlery as this was the only thing we couldn’t find. Beside that a great location and host.

The location of this apartment is simply fantastic. It is the most beautiful neighborhood in Amsterdam, with a lot of life, a lot of greenery and people who enjoy the outdoors. The terrace is unique, designed to be used even in the cold (electric blankets). A first floor of steep stairs (typical of Amsterdam). Spacious room, comfortable bed, very good shower, beautiful decoration, private toilet, (next to the room). They allowed us to leave our luggage before the scheduled time. There is a shared refrigerator and microwave on the upper floor. The only point (it's not something that the owners can change) is that it's very close to a church that rings the bells, even at dawn, but the owners provide earplugs. Everything is planned to enjoy Amsterdam. We would happily stay again!
