A nice place to stay, about 30 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal where you can visit the most popular attractions

Beautiful family home and welcoming hosts-highly recommend for families! Hosts were so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants, offering tips for the transit system etc. I wish we had spent more time enjoying their home during this trip to visit Amsterdam as the home is a gem-the outdoor spaces are lovely. The movie projector screen and large collection of movies was so fun to use. The home is in an ideal location to use as a home base to access nearby Amsterdam or the even closer and very charming town of Zaanse Schans.

There were three of us with my cat and we all felt very comfortable! A lovingly furnished apartment in the perfect location. The bathroom is a bit small but serves its purpose. We will certainly come back again! Annette is a very nice host!

We had a wonderful weekend in Uitgeest as a family of five. The surroundings with the windmill, the meadows with lots of water, nature and the beautiful place just around the corner are the perfect starting point for various excursions to the sea or to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Our hosts were always very friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you need and is beautifully cozy. We will be happy to come back!

Excellent stay at Karin's, in a nice, spacious, very clean apartment. The private terrace is an asset. Communication was excellent and Karin was always very responsive. The seaside resort of Noordwijk is 10 minutes away by car. Be careful if you are a light sleeper, there are many animals at Karin's (horses, chickens, dog) and they wake up early!

Hugo was the perfect host from check in to check out. He was a wealth of knowledge and his property is truly stunning. We cycled from Dunkirk and after 3 days of hard cycling wanted somewhere nice to relax. This place did just that. Hugo was very accommodating and couldn’t do more to help. Thankyou Hugo for being a credit to Airbnb. ( your dog is nice too! )

We found the perfect spot to spend a few days in the Breukelen / Maarssen area. Able to live like a local by biking to shops and touring the area. Nicolette and Remko made our stay so pleasant and were very friendly to help with plans or a quick chat. The space inside was lovely and roomy. Lots of place to relax outside too. Great biking and boating in the area - follow their recommendations. Most welcoming hosts we have met. Thank you for everything.

Great place and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything worked out for us ☀️

Very cute cottage, in an absolutely quiet location. The garden is well grown, so you have privacy and can also go there with anxious dogs. Everything was super clean and nicely decorated. For nature lovers a perfect place, you can even see small parrots and a black swan we have also seen! The check-in was hassle-free and the contact was also very friendly! We will be happy to come back!

Great place and host. 20-30 min away from downtown. Peaceful and quiet place. Outside area over the canal is beautiful. This is our second time here and we recommend it.

Beautiful, small accommodation right on the waterfront. Rik also has chickens, a rabbit and a pig. The children particularly liked that. Since this is a tiny house, it is only partially suitable for small children/babies (ladders and steps cannot be secured). We had a lovely stay and would be happy to come back

Great Host and great Stay. Easy Kommunikation. We did go sailing with a skipper the host kindly arranged for us, wich was a great experience.

We had a lovely holiday at Ingeborg's house. It was spacious for our family and was in a quiet neighbourhood. The house had its own jetty by the canal and plenty of room to sit outside and in the patio depending on the weather. We parked our car easily outside the house and went with public transport into town. The only thing that could be noted is that the kitchen could have been better cleaned. But the overall experience was great!

the accommodation is as advertised. It's an old barge... with the pros, exotic, unusual, and the cons, be careful with the water... but everything is said in the description so there are no bad surprises. Harold is very welcoming. We arrived by train, he picked us up at the first tram stop, which was a real plus. Access to the center of Amsterdam is 20 minutes either by tram 26 or bus 37, 10 minutes' walk from the boat. bike access to friendly fishing villages in 30-45 minutes (very nice ride). In short, very happy with this family vacation.

We had a great stay in Tesse's and Tim's apartment and instantly felt at home! The apartment is located in a quiet area, but is still well connected by bus and tram. A supermarket is within walking distance. The communication with the hosts was very friendly and we received feedback quickly.

A great stay in an impeccable, comfortable and very well located apartment! Access is simple and well explained, which really makes check-in easy. Special mention to the host, very responsive and attentive, always available when needed. We immediately feel comfortable at home. I would recommend it without a second thought!

I had a great time, the apartment was tastefully decorated and smelled good. Next to the museums, the host is very friendly. I recommend it and think about coming back.

Roger’s place and hospitality made the trip to Amsterdam more enjoyable. The location is superb in a quiet area. Clean, spacious & well equipped. Roger was responsive and helpful. Definitely will consider coming back!

Winnie’s communication was impeccable, she couldn’t have been more welcoming. I went for a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend, and Winnie could not have done more, the decorations the complimentary Prosecco and she even sorted out a personalised cake for him! The location is great just a short 15 min walk into the centre, or 10 mins by tram. Two supermarkets right around the corner and a lovely cafe serving breakfast lunch and dinner. An information form was left for us about the area and recommendations which we certainly looked at- you must visit the local Windmill brewery!! The place was clean and so cosy, big TV with Netflix and a lovely balcony to take in the evenings atmosphere! The kitchen also has everything you would need and spotlessly displayed. Cannot recommend staying at Winnie’s place enough, we fell in love with Amsterdam after only 1 week. Safe to say we will be back soon and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else apart from Winnie’s🥰

It’s located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, with easy access to everything Amsterdam has to offer. Sharine and Keon were fantastic hosts—very responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. Their home had a warm, personal touch that made us feel comfortable and at home right away. It was the perfect space for our family, and our little one especially enjoyed it. A lovely place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. Excellent location in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants, walking path and many trains to get you wherever you need to go. Spacious apartment and very clean - bonus of plug adapters in both bedrooms with USB and USB-C (didn't need to bring one). Well stocked kitchen for those preparing meals in the rental. Overall 10/10, would recommend!
