We worked with local designers and artisans to transform a former private home into a sustainable guest house. Minimalist furniture and luxurious interior, ocean views from large windows, and a spacious living room with a 100-inch projector. 30 meters to the white sand shore, you can access the beach barefoot. Perfect for private time with loved ones. There is a hot spring (700 yen per adult), a Himonya, a morning vegetable market, and a delicious bakery within walking distance. You can experience the atmosphere of an old fishing village everywhere. This is a room with facilities comparable to a home, based on the concept of "staying as if you lived there" by the sea. It is an ideal place to stay, combining the comfort of a condominium with a natural environment. The spacious ocean-view terrace has a sauna. Forget your daily routine and enjoy some me time while listening to the sound of the ocean. We provide a tabletop barbecue grill on the terrace. Lose track of time and enjoy dining al fresco to your heart's content. There is a discount for stays of 2 nights or more. There are two sauna-type rooms, one on the first floor and one on the second floor. The floor plans and colors are slightly different, but the basic size, equipment, etc. are the same. The room may differ from the one in the picture. We appreciate your understanding. Facilities: There is a twin room with 2 single beds, a Japanese-style room with 3 futon sets, a living and dining room, a kitchen, a roofed terrace, a table for barbecuing, and a washing machine. Everything in the house is the guest's private space, but there are rooms nearby. Please do not run around or make noise on the terrace or in the room. Guests other than those staying at the property are not permitted to enter the room.

The retro Japanese house is full of Japanese atmosphere. Located on a hill, with windows on three sides, you can see Shimoda Park, Shimoda Port, and Shimoda City as if you were looking out from a castle. The sunset view is especially spectacular. Located in the city, restaurants, hot springs, supermarkets, post offices, convenience stores, and the tourist attraction Perry Road are also within walking distance. In addition to walking to the boat boarding area to Izu Shichito and the famous fishing spot "Inunashima", the Shimoda Aquarium is also nearby. 15-minute walk from Izukyu Shimoda Station. Reception and check-in are at NPO Izu in Kamo 6 "Taruya" (3-1-23 Shimoda City), a 5-minute walk away. Parking is available for 1 car within a 2-minute walk. It is located on a hill up the stairs, so it is not wheelchair accessible. It is also a bit difficult to carry heavy luggage.
