Waterfront vacation rentals in Sheffield District

Very spacious and comfortable flat with some excellent views of nearby river and hills. Very convenient to grocery and public transport. With windows on both sides, the flat was light-filled and the breezes were refreshing. Bath and kitchen were very large compared with other airbnb's at the same price. The kitchen had all that was necessary for most types of food preparation and cooking. I would definitely stay at Jonathan's flat again.

Great accommodation, just as described in the listing and set in a beautiful location. The weather was kind to us so we were able to enjoy breakfast on the patio, overlooking the stream and listening to the birds. Just lovely! Phil and Anne were perfect hosts, welcoming and on hand if needed but not intrusive. Would definitely look to book again if staying in Delph.

Riverside Cottage was comfortable and immaculately clean. It's in a beautiful, peaceful location but also close to the bars and restaurants in Hebden Bridge. We would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at the Old Brewery. The place was spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. It looked just like the pictures and perfectly matched the description. It was the perfect base to explore the Calder Valley, we walked along the canal towpath into Hebden Bridge and caught the bus back, so handy as the bus stopped right outside the property. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

This is a lovely flat in a good location a very short walk from the town centre where there’s loads of pubs and restaurants. Charlotte is very friendly and welcoming and the flat is lovely - clean and modern with a really well stocked kitchen. It’s much bigger than it looks in the picture. Glossop is a great location to explore the peaks - there’s loads of walks or running routes you can do from the front door, or via a short bus ride.

Stayed a few times now. As usual she is super friendly and eveything as described. No complaints whatsoever!

Really peaceful room in a beautiful village. Extremely comfy bed. Local pub Barbary’s recommended and absolutely worth a visit. Moments from local station and a short bike ride to Hebden. All perfect for me.

We loved our stay at Gina’s and hope to come back sometime soon. Hebden Bridge is a friendly, charming village - so lovely - and Gina’s place above her fused glass studio is so pretty and filled with light and pops of color. We could walk all over, including in a nearby park and along the river. Thank you, Gina!

We loved the cottage very comfortable amazing views in a beautiful setting. The hot tub overlooking the lake was idyllic. Sarah was a fabulous host nothing was too much trouble. Children friendly games etc well equipped the grandchildren loved the cats visiting, feeding the goats treats and playing in the garden. Plenty of wonderful walks we loved the canal walks stumbled across great cafes pubs and local shops...the local pub the junction had a great menu and food was delicious. We would definitely come back again thanks again Sarah

Beautiful accommodation, excellent for our family celebration. The surrounding area is lovely. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sun setting in the evening. Darren was very accommodating which added to the overall experience making it a wonderful weekend!

We have just returned from a week in Dalemore Cottage and could not have wished for more. The cottage itself is set in the most glorious location and the inside is just as good. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished. Pru and Chris were the most welcoming of hosts and Pru’s home cooked meal service was excellent, I even asked for some of the recipes. If you are looking for a quiet spot, in a fabulous location with excellent hosts this is the place for you.

It was our second stay at the cottage and it didn’t disappoint. Ideal location in the centre of Castleton close to pubs and restaurant and also for walks in the Peak District. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you need. The welcome pack was lovely. Gemma gave clear instructions and good recommendations for our stay. Will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Kingfisher Cottage whilst visiting family. Matt was very responsive and helpful and provided several local recommendations. The location of the cottage next to the river is perfect for a peaceful drink in the evening and our 4 year old enjoyed paddling and watching the cows. Thank you Monika and Matt for a wonderful stay - we'll be back!

Georgie is a great host very helpful and full of information. The accommodation is perfect has everything you would need to make your stay comfortable. very clear on things to do and places to visit like attractions, bar's and restaurants local public transport and even dog friendly places and walks. If you’re on the fence about booking this place, do it. Absolutely fantastic stay, immaculately decorated and spotlessly clean. Kate was a fantastic host who also provided some essentials for our stay which was so thoughtful. What a beautiful home and so peaceful. I had a fantastic stay at this new-build property. Accessing the keys was straightforward, making check-in hassle-free. The kitchen and bathroom facilities were excellent, with a modern shower that worked perfectly. The place was spotlessly clean, and each of the three single beds was equipped with two towels, which was a thoughtful touch. The heating was great, ensuring the house stayed cosy throughout my stay. Parking right outside the property was incredibly convenient. Prince, the host, was easily contactable and very helpful. Overall, a very pleasant and seamless experience. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed here to attend Newark Showground and it was a good distance. The accommodation was perfect and self-contained so we had the privacy needed as we returned late some nights. The flat was amazing and an excellent use of space to make it feel spacious and at home with everything you need for your stay. In particular, Sarah was very helpful and responsive and which made our trip so much more doable and easier. Thanks Sarah x

Great apartment in a good location for central Glossop, just minutes walk from the centre, but away from the busy high street. Overlooking a stream, comfortable and we’ll equipped with parking place.

Very responsive host, with clear instructions. the apartment is very convenient for the Hepworth Gallery, and a short walk across the river to the centre of Wakefield.

Phil and Anne were wonderful, even before we arrived we needed to switch our dates and they were happy to accommodate the change without fuss. On arrival we were shown where to park and around the accomodation, which was just as described, clean,tidy, super comfortable and had all the described amenities and lots of little touches that made our stay perfect. Thank you both for a wonderful base for our trip.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Machine Room. A huge single room on two levels housed the kitchen, dining room, lounge and bedroom. We loved this layout. Extremely comfortable with everything you might need. Nice welcome basket too. Great modern bathroom with a large walk-in monsoon shower. The place has been recently reonovated/converted and has been done to a very high standard and kept many of the property's features from its industrial past. It's location is amazing. Literally above a stream in the valley with two or three small waterfalls. Stunning.

We had a fantastic stay at Litton Mill – the apartment was beautifully appointed and had everything (and more) that we needed. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The location is perfect – right beside the Monsal Trail and central to so many beautiful walks and villages. We especially recommend the walk to Monsal Head along the trail, then up the hill by the tunnel to a café with delicious treats and a cosy pub. A truly memorable stay – we’d happily return.
