The stay exceeded expectations. A beautiful place. Clean, tidy and good beds, as well as a good outdoor area. Very happy with the whole stay. We brought bicycles. Recommended! We had good communication with Bente and they were welcoming in every way. Some great days in Arendal

The apartment is really great and surrounded by water. We were there over Pentecost and it was wonderfully quiet. Rune's supermarket is right next door and unfortunately was closed over the holidays during our stay. Otherwise, that's super convenient. Rune is very friendly and we also rented his little boat to sail across the Lysefjord. A great experience!

We enjoyed our time here! Brit is a welcoming and caring host, communication was very smooth. The accommodation is very well-equipped, furnished and carefully decorated. Sand is a peaceful area and the view from the terrace is amazing. We strongly recommend! Aymeric & Emilie

A nice little apartment with everything a person needs for a pleasant stay. The bed sleeps wonderfully. Everything was spotless and almost everything new and fresh. Wonderful to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view and the cute cat Lusi. We hope to be able to come back to Rebecca and Jonny!

We had a great time with Judith and Bouke. We felt very welcome from the first moment. The house is delicate and well-equipped and the views are simply magical. It was very nice to cycle Gamleveien to Folkestadbyen and relax on the beach near the house. Judith's gallery was the highlight of Folkestadbyen. The finest place there. We have acquired two fine works that we took home and hung on the walls. How lucky we are to have such great memories from our trip! Our daughter got to play with the cat and she had a lot of fun out on the sunny terrace. Many thanks to Judith and Bouke for their hospitality and kindness! This place is highly recommended!💖

The pictures in the advertisement are great, but the place, the annex and the stay exceeded all expectations! The place is decorated with love, creativity and plenty of nice and fun details. Top standard with all the facilities you could wish for on a trip. We grilled food, fired a little in the fire pan, admired portals and lights in a fantastic nice garden with several "departments", took a fishing trip on the jetty/quay. Tone's service is a six out of six - she is also a very pleasant and helpful host. This place is an oasis, where you can relax and enjoy life in very cozy and beautiful surroundings. Here we would love to come back!

A fantastic location in Mandal. The city's best plot with Sjøsanden's 800 m long beach outside the door. The city center a few meters the other way. High standard of the apartment - the listing is actually completely correct. We were two couples, as well as daughter and grandchildren of 6 months and couldn't get better accommodation. All the necessary equipment was there, but the travel bed for the infant we brought ourselves. Amazing patio - to modestly call it balcony - large and with views to the south and west. Sea sand with lighthouse lantern Grandma, Hattholmen lighthouse and (theoretical) view to Denmark! Add that the weather was amazing, one day with rain it was pleasant inside with plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommended!

We spent 9 days at Lene's house, and we loved it very much. Even though the weather was mostly rainy and overcast, we enjoyed the spectacular view from the house. Nature around is stunning, going for a drive gives you a surprise at every turn of the road, there so many beautiful fjords. We were concerned about the street right next to the house, but the traffic is moderate and it didn't disturb us at all. The house is meticulously clean, and it looks the way you expect after seeing the images. Lene is very responsive and friendly, when we had a question about heating and using the stove, she came immediately out to show us how it works, and she gave us some helpful information about the area. All in all it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely like to come again, maybe in spring when there is a better chance to have some sun.

We had a great holiday. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful house. Unfortunately, the stove/open was not so easy to use. PlayStation 4, gym and kayak were not available (as advertised). Too bad!

Such an amazing place and location. The house was gorgeous, and the hosts were so helpful. They even left fishing poles for my son to use, so sweet. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a really good stay at Karin and René's coziest cabin in Øvre Ramse. The most relaxing cabin, overlooking the most beautiful lake and in beautiful nature far from city life. The impressive mountain and the waterfall that you could hear at the house is so beautiful. There are beautiful and good hiking routes close by or a little drive from the cabin, we had a 3 year old on a trip. Their Youtube videos are easy to follow.

The house has a great location and a beautiful view of the fjord. There are also many beautiful hikes that start nearby. Anne Marie and her husband were very friendly, helpful and always quick to reach. We would definitely come back.

This house is just a dream come true. There is everything you need and with the fireplace and the view of the water you just feel comfortable. The hosts were always available and very friendly. We can recommend this place and were sad when we had to leave. It's really worth a reservation. Thx

We absolutely loved staying at Mona’s riverside home! The house was so cozy and comfortable we felt right at home. The house is located a short distance from town and was so peaceful, which made for a perfect end to our 2 week trip in Norway. Mona responded quickly to our messages and provided great local recommendations. We can’t recommend her place enough! On a side note, we also got to see (from a distance) baby swans be born on an island in the middle of the river all from the living room window of the house! ❤️

Anne’s place is a hidden gem! It looks good in the picture but it’s even better in real. The location is ideal with mountains, lake, trails, parks for kids and groceries. The home was athletically decorated, the beds were very comfortable and the living space was cozy with a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Anne has been very kind and welcomed us to the apartment warmly. She shared local recommendations and made sure our stay was comfortable. We would love to revisit! Thanks much Anne ❤️

We rarely found such a clean apartment. And also super equipped, chicly furnished and with a great cozy terrace. The location is also great to explore the coastal region around Lillesand and Kristiansand or if you want to use the ferry. Everything was just right 😃👍

A wonderful accommodation with a fantastic panoramic window overlooking the archipelago. You can sit on the sofa for hours and watch - very relaxing and calming. The apartment had everything you need and is very cozy and tastefully decorated. In addition, Markus is a super friendly and helpful host who had some tips for things to do in the area. Unfortunately, we only stayed 2 nights, we would have liked to have spent a few more days there.

Very nice accommodation with large garden, private small area and jetty directly on the water overlooking the fjord estuary and the small harbor directly in the village. Stavanger can be reached in ~40 minutes and the nearest small town of Jorpesland is about 20 minutes away. In the village, however, there are 2 small supermarkets. Nature is incredibly beautiful and there are many hiking trails such as the Preikestolen, Sollifjell, Uburen within 30 minutes reach. The boat tour directly in Forsand is also highly recommended. Torhild was super nice and accommodating. She gave us a lot of recommendation for activities, shopping, restaurants and much more. We were able to contact her 24/7 on site or via app. Overall, the accommodation has been very nice, the surroundings are full of impressive nature and there is no lack of activities / tranquility. The week-long stay was perfect for us. We would not do anything else in retrospect! Thank you :-)

The space is truly a highlight. The view from the apartment to the water is simply wonderful. The apartment is very cozy and well equipped. We felt very comfortable here. Wenche was a great host with lots of helpful tips! We will be happy to come back 🙂
