Kanekos listing was wonderful. Very close to the station. Only a few stops into central Tokyo. It was nice to be away from all the crowds at the end of busy days. worked well for our family. I would definitely recommend this place.

We had a great stay at Akira’s place. We were a group of 8 people with 5 adults and 3 kids (10 and under). The house comfortably fit all of us and felt like home — Akira had everything we needed. Loved the residential neighbourhood- gave you a sense of how most people lived - and a restful reprieve after visiting the hustle and bustle of the major city areas. I would mention that if you have a large taxi/transport, it may be difficult to get right to the house as the roadways are very narrow (typical for residential areas). Two laundry places and vending machines right by the house (so convenient)! Walkable to train stations. Look forward to coming back!

We loved staying here! Very comfortable for our family of 6. Great location, very easy to access public transportation and get all around Tokyo. It was a perfect space to come back to after a busy day. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend this place to others.

Clean and spacious for large groups

What a delightful stay we had at Yuri’s place. It was wonderfully spacious for our family of 5, very clean, comfortable and tucked in a charming neighborhood. A short walk to the Sendagi station as well as the bus meant we travelled easily throughout the city. We particularly enjoyed riding the bikes through Yanaka. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay, Yuri!

It was a very cozy home for a large group. We were 7 men and we all felt very comfortable. We also enjoyed the restaurant/bar downstairs which is owned by the host. Would recommend any large groups looking for a nice home near Shibuya to book here

Our family of 6 had a great stay. As mentioned in the listing, the house is old but well maintained. - The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It’s a 3 mins walk to subway station, and 15 mins walk to skytree. - The kids loved the convenience of having the 7-11 nearby and made daily trips there. - The kitchen is well equipped. - The younger one loved the “playroom” with plenty of toys. He would rather stay in just to play in there. What caught us off guard was the shower in the backyard, we didn’t use it at all. So be reminded there is only one shower inside the house. Overall we highly recommend Shou’s place for a big family. Especially with kids!

Tatsuki is an excellent host! He was incredibly responsive and always available to help with any questions or concerns we had. From the moment we booked, he stayed in touch, regularly checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly during our stay. His communication made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, which made for a relaxing and comfortable experience. The place itself was clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. We love our stay. The first floor felt a bit limited at first, but in 2 days, we got used to it. It's very clean and well equipped. The location is also good. It's quiet, walkable to the station, and lots of restaurants/shops/supermarkets nearby. We were able to make good memories in this house. Highly recommended. The place is at a walkable distance from Sensoji(3-4 mins walk). The accommodation space is well managed with very tastefully done interiors. Walkable from Asakusa station. The stairs are narrow and there's no lift. It's difficult to carry the luggages.

My group was 2 adults (my self and my friend), 1 boy teenager and a younger boy turning 6 years old. Before we decided to stay, we did extensive research for hotels and airbnb, and finally decided on Jianrui’s place, and we’re very happy we did. Jianrui’s place was squeeky clean, full of amenities, and lots of other things we didn’t even think of. For that price and the space, it was well worth it. A little bit far from the hustle and bustle of mid-Tokyo, but the train was available until after midnight. Even when we had a bit problem with the toilet (my 6 years old clogged it-hahahaha-) and with the key, Jianrui and the co-host was responding our messages right away. It was a home far away from home, one we look forward too after having a long day, or just for staying in for the day. And also a big plus, they are very attentive to a younger kid’s necessities, such as providing games, and also a birthday cake for my son (just WOW). Thankyou Jianrui and also the co-host😍

It was a pleasure staying at the house. So close to train station. The host responded quickly when we had questions. The house is fully equipped with kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, 2 baths and 3 toilets which worked out well for our family of 7. No transfer needed coming to/from Haneda to Kesei Hikifune which was great especially with many luggages. Grocery store and pharmacy is right at the east exit. Ito Yokaido mall has a big 7-11 grocery store on 1st floor, check it out, much better food offerings and cheaper. Overall it was a great stay and will definitely stay her place for our next trip to Tokyo. Thank you!

It was great staying at Tadashi’s place. Was very responsive to my queries and helpful. Recommend others to stay there if you are looking for a place away from hustle and bustle of Tokyo central. Walking distance to 2 train stations and plenty of amenities nearby. Also luggage forwarding services are available at the nearby Lawson mart.

Just a word to the wise, I was not used to the Japanese washer and dryer machine and expected my clothes to be fully dried at the end of the cycle and now I have to go to a laundry mat because I think it is expected to air dry clothes. So if you are only staying for one night and don’t have time to air dry your clothing I wouldn’t wash it! Place was really nice otherwise!

We were a party of 3 looking for an apartment with 2 separate bathrooms (toilets) which is hard to find when you only need 2 bedrooms. We needed privacy but still have a place to be together. This fit the bill exactly. The apartment is a detached house with 3 floors, in a quiet area a few minutes walk from Ikeburu station . The top and bottom floors have bedrooms and toilets while the middle floor has the kitchen, living/ dining area, shower and laundry. The stairs are steep, so that might be a problem for some people. The kitchen has all the basics, but we only needed it for our morning coffee, as there are lots of places to buy food and eat in the area. Unfortunately, there were only 2 coffee cups when we were there, which I understand has been remedied. The couches in the living/dining area were basic but not super comfy. All in all, it made a good base from which to see Tokyo. I would recommend this apartment to people who want both privacy and a communal area.

The apartment was conveniently located to many restaurants and attractions. It is easy to find and the host provided amenities to make your stay more comfortable. I highly recommend it to others.

Great location and funky flat. Close to tube station and on a buzzy street that’s not noisy when you’ve closed the door. Cosy and homely you can cook some bits and bobs if you need or pop out and get something local Billy even offered to come over and show me how to work the washing machine!

Yukari was more than a host, she is a friend. She is kind, friendly, helpful and very responsive. She picked us up at the station and also dropped us off when we departed. Japan is a great place to visit for its beauty, culture and especially the people. It’s our number one favorite country to come back again and again Thank you Yukari for allowing us to stay at your place and for being so nice to us

Great home in a lovely, friendly neighborhood. The beds were a little uncomfortable but putting an extra comforter on top of the mattress helped. It has great amenities.

Great stay at Shigeru’s! In a quiet residential neighbourhood, but a close walk to the train that can get you to all major hubs. A nice and simple accommodation, great for a solo traveler with all basic necessities. The distance is a bit of a further commute to areas like Asakusa & Ginza, but in close proximity to other great hubs like Setagaya City. Shigeru really was the best, he accommodated a late check in, met me at the station and helped carry my heavy luggage. He also provided me with recommendations in the area and helped me so much when I was struggling to figure out how to commute to Narita Airport when I left. Would recommend this place to anyone!
