A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). The Lake House is ideal for your next away from home stay.

At the waters edge of Lake Tapps you’ll find our cabana. It’s hidden and private within our residential property. You’ll have the entire waterfront to yourself. Fish off the dock, kayak, or just relax in seclusion. Outdoors you’ll find a large covered porch, fireplace and hot tub. Inside- a queen wall Bed, small sofa bed, fireplace, cable TV, Wifi. Neighbors are not close. Please be aware the shower is in an outdoor room accessed through the bathroom.

Literally steps from the Puget Sound, you will sleep like a baby listening to the sound of the ocean waves and breeze through your window. Conveniently 10 minutes to the Bremerton/ Seattle ferry, and close to hiking trails and recreation in the Olympic Mountains. We have local recommendations available, and mooring options for boats.
