Our cottage sits above Lake Washington with a beautiful water view. A peaceful respite, yet so close to the city. You can barbeque on the deck and watch the boats go by as ospreys fish in the little marina just below. Walk or ride bikes along Lake Wa. Blvd. to Seward Park offering its old-growth forest and pretty lakeside loop just one mile away. This is a private basement studio (one room) with a bathroom, full kitchen, living space with a queen size pull out sofa and a queen bed. My place is a 5 minute walk to the Othello Light Rail, and from there you'll have easy access to all of Seattle without the hassle of parking or the cost of a car rental. You’ll love it here because it's comfortable and close to everything. My place is good for couples, a family with small children, and good friends who don't mind sharing close quarters.

The cottage is a private, self-contained unit, featuring a well-stocked kitchenette, tiled shower, bedroom loft with french doors opening onto a deck, flat screen TV, DVD player, wifi, Bluetooth wireless speaker, and off street parking. Dog weight limit 25 pounds. Noise may be an issue for some due to airplanes. Stairs to the loft are steep. We are also located on a steep hill. We provide coffee/tea, juice, and some snacks. My place is close to Seward Park and its beach, old growth forest, and trails, to several synagogues, and to Columbia City. You’ll love my place because of the location, the views of Lake Washington and Mount Rainier, the tranquility yet proximity to downtown--1/2 a block to the bus that goes to light rail. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
