The Speculator Guest House is fully renovated to offer an elevated and thoughtful stay. Walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, or the sandy beach on Lake Pleasant (.6 miles). Each guest receives individualized local recommendations. Our cozy apartment attached to our garage can sleep 2 guests and provides a unique western vibe with views of our horses from the bedroom window. The property is roomy and private but also has two main houses and two barns within sight. We are 8 minutes from the Schroon Lake village with the river within walking distance to swim, kayak or tube in. This is also a great location for many of the tourist attractions like hiking, boating, fishing, skiing/snowboarding and snowmobiling.
