The River Cabin

The River Cabin is a simple but beautiful original log home that has a gorgeous view of Schroon River and Schroon Falls. It is privately located on a quiet lot but also only 200 feet off of Route 9. This cabin was built in 1977, by our family. It has access to a private swimming hole where you can kayak, swim, fish or just hang out. This cabin has a full kitchen, living room with propane fire place, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. The basement has a unique game room with poker table and bar.

This A Frame is a one bedroom with private entry. It is attached to the main house, which can also be rented during the fall and winter months. During the summer the beach area is shared with the other 2 cabins on the property. The space has its own thermostat for heat and an air conditioner available as well for a the summer months. In addition, the property has A smart TV, DVD player and a selection of moves. Property recently renovated to include a full kitchen with a mini refrigerator.

Our cozy apartment attached to our garage can sleep 2 guests and provides a unique western vibe with views of our horses from the bedroom window. The property is roomy and private but also has two main houses and two barns within sight. We are 8 minutes from the Schroon Lake village with the river within walking distance to swim, kayak or tube in.
