Lake house vacation rentals in Schroon Lake

We had a great time staying at L.J’s place. Our children loved app that there was to do and we took daily walks down to the frozen lake. Lots of fun sledding and relaxing!

Our stay at the lake was truly amazing! The house was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for enjoying the lake. Lisa was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

I stayed at Greg‘s house two long weekends in September and October. I went with several friends and then I came back several weeks later with my family. big beautiful house in a lakefront setting with a really nice fire pit overlooking the lake. Gregg allowed us to use a row boat which happened to be at the property, but usually kept at another house nearby. I did some fishing from the row boat but was unsuccessful. The kitchen is well appointed, and there is a really nice propane grill on the deck. My kids loved the ping-pong table and foosball table in the basement. You should bring your own drinking water as the well water has a sulfur smell.

That was a peaceful vacation with my family. First and foremost, the house was spotless clean. There were plenty of toys for my six-year-old niece to enjoy. Kevin had a keen eye for detail, and we had everything guests needed for a comfortable stay. The lake was also a highlight of the trip. We went canoeing, and it was a truly enjoyable experience in that picturesque setting. I hope we can return soon.

Our stay was great. Nice big yard for activities. Great views of lake and mountains. Plenty of space and bedrooms for larger groups. Host was very helpful and accommodating.

This place is absolutely awesome. We (3 dads and 3 sons) had a great time before heading to Cooperstown for the little league tournament. Tons to do. Place is better than advertised. Andrew is super helpful and responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay at Kate’s place. Inside was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Outside, we especially loved the view and the gazebo which was really cute and a great place to hang out during a little rain. Kate was very responsive! Wish we could have stayed longer. We are definitely hoping to come back for another visit!

Jon was easy to work with and always helpful. Everything is as described. We skied Mt Gore and it's a nice 15-20 minute drive in beautiful countryside. I imagine the place is extra beautiful in the summer in front of the lake. We were there with lots of snow. Jon's plow guy was prompt and courteous and helpful. Overall it was a great stay.

The house and location were amazing. We had 10 people and there was more than enough room for all of us. We played ping pong and air hockey until our arms were sore!

We absolutely loved our stay! This Airbnb was the perfect place for our family to getaway and enjoy the amazing pool, plus the cosy house to relax in. Yasiel was very accommodating and responsive and was a great host! We’re already trying to plan our next trip back - can’t recommend enough!

Loved our stay with our family of 5 and 2 dogs. House was exactly as described. Beautiful views of the lake from every vantage point. Kitchen was well stocked. Connor was very responsive and helpful with directions and any questions. Had the best time and hope to return! Highly recommend!

Even better than the pictures!! Inside felt so homey and the place was so clean. The host left unexpected touches that we really appreciated! You walk in and are able to see out the beautiful big window to the water and trees. My kids loved the bunk room! The outdoor space had so many areas for the whole family to hang out comfortably. The playground was super close. Being right on the water and not having neighbors right on top of you made the trip peaceful and relaxing. The game garage was a huge hit as well, just a super fun and cool bonus. Would love to come back and stay for longer! Thank you for an amazing trip.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Lake George! The setting was incredibly peaceful—exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The cabin was cozy, clean, and well-equipped for a comfortable getaway. Karen, the host, was fantastic—very friendly and responsive whenever we had questions. Her hospitality made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, refreshing escape!

Greg’s home is spacious yet cozy, a true home away from home. Gorgeous kitchen and living areas, comfy bedrooms, and lovely property, and just minutes away from beautiful Mirror Lake and the town - our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Greg was immediately responsive, kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back, thank you Greg!

The Pond House was a great place to stay for a trip to Saranac, Placid, or the High Peaks region. The location is right on Moody Pond and is private, yet just a short drive away from town. Kelli was proactive in her communication and checking in/out was seamless.

The house at Sacandaga Lake was beautiful. Everything was as listed in the computer. House was very comfortable with multiple places to sit and talk. The upstairs was very comfortable with the large window over looking the lake. The weather wasn't great, but we made the best of it. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect—just a short drive to Lake George Village and only 10 minutes from a wedding we attended in Queensbury. The house itself is absolutely beautiful; the photos don’t do it justice. It was even better in person—clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Would definitely stay here again!

Leo & Michelle’s Lake house is great! Awesome spot with fantastic views off the lake. Close to Lake George & Saratoga Springs. Very quiet and relaxing. There was everything we needed for a lovely stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed it perfect thank you so much for the extras that hardly any Airbnb provides! My husband says thank you so much for all the wood you provided it saved him from hauling it. We left our kayaks in North Carolina because they would make too much noise however we were surprised to find kayaks and fishing poles available for renters! You really should put that in your ad, may have been the decision point that we would’ve chosen for you It would be nice if all Airbnb were as accommodating as you guys were . based on the extras ! Hopefully nobody in the future takes advantage of you.

the place is awesome, my only critique is the main bathroom has a deep tub and I'm old, a grab handle to assist in getting in & out would have helped me

We had a wonderful stay for my son's wedding, and although we were busy from morning to night. This was a beautiful home to come back to when we were done celebrating. Joann was responsive and gracious and we would recommend her house to anyone.
