Cabin vacation rentals in Schroon Lake

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

Once again, we had an amazingly peaceful and relaxing time at our favorite air bnb. We love everything about Isobel's place, the beautiful surroundings, the sauna and of course the hot tub. There were so many birds to watch, too, including Indigo Buntings and Baltimore Orioles! It's a perfect getaway. We can't wait to come back in the fall.

Our stay was all good. FYI, the space is on a high 2nd floor, be sure you can handle some steps.

Great place! This home is cozy and very nice in a lovely setting. The gazebo and deck are fantastic, and the hot tub was a hit. Great amenities! The home itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Gabriel had great communication and was very accommodating to our family. The basement made for the perfect retreat for the kiddos, complete with a train table. Excellent stay and hospitality all around! Thank you!

Perfect stay. The cabin looked exactly as it did in photos and from the moment we opened the door we were in awe of the cute decor and space. Literally perfect for our needs. Very quiet and peaceful. Lindsay and John were very proactive in their communication, and their guide had everything. We used it and referenced it during our stay. Very helpful. We’ll be back!

Very spacious and gave great Adirondack cabin vibes!

My wife and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon and had a great time! It’s very beautiful and peaceful around the property and really made for a great stay! Would definitely recommend!

This was a lovely Adirondack cabin getaway. very private and peaceful surroundings, and its just close enough (~15/20 min) to town and 25 min to Lake George. The home was clean and cozy with a fun basement full of activities and an amazing hot tub!! Uzma and Billy were very responsive throughout our visit. I'd definitely stay here again.

My friends and I LOVED staying here. It was a little tricky to find, as there were no instructions regarding the suspension bridge you need to cross to find the house. The water from the tap definitely smelled a little funny which wasn't that big of an issue and we decided to get more water from the store for washing hands and such. Other than that we had a great time. There were so many sleeping options, so everybody got their own bed. Also the huge CD selection was a giant win for the weekend. The overall vibe was incredible. We loved the decor. We would book again!!!

Barbie's cabin was the perfect mix of comfort and isolation. Everyone in my group was able to relax and unplug, and the little river behind the cabin was a nice surprise! We had no problem with the hot water or the gas furnace, and the cabin was nice and warm our entire stay. Would definitely recommend staying here for anyone looking to unplug up in the mountains!

Nancy is a very responsive, kind, and generous host. She maintain the place well. It is a lovely area. The stay was very enjoyable.

Fantastic and authentic Vermont experience. Top 3 AirB&Bs I’ve stayed in. Off the beaten path, but close enough to everything you need. Rik is great host and makes it easy. Book if you can find availability.

We had a wonderful stay — the house was quiet, peaceful and on a beautiful property. Everything was comfortable and we felt right at home. Very short drive to downtown Bolton Landing or the Lake George area and tons of great hikes only minutes away. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Perfect place for the family. Close to gore mountain for skiing, quiet area on a dead end road. Place was really clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Simple check in and check out instructions. Loved it!

Wasn't the best weather but enjoyed our peaceful relaxing stay. Nothing better than unplugging and chilling by a fire with no electronics. Brenda is great and checks in on us to see if everything is good.

Beautiful cabin and great amenities. The wood burning stove was our favorite part along with the wood furnishings. A lot of great things to do and the hosts were so kind and friendly. Definitely a great place to book (just keep in mind the nearest restaurants are about 30 minutes away but the cabin has a well equipped kitchen for baking and cooking plus smores!). thank you for a wonderful time.

Overall great space. Very peaceful neighborhood, and the house was well kept and clean, including the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. Clear check-in instructions, and Shawn responded to any questions I had. I would definitely come back!

5/5 stay. Molly was so communicative since the beginning and provided information on nearby attractions. The cabin was beautiful and clean, and what I loved the most: the kitchen has EVERYTHING we needed to cook, bake & grill. Being able to BBQ on the patio was nice as well. The wood burning stove kept us warm and added a nice vibe to our stay. The location was secluded but 30-40 mins driving to many lakes/trails and shops, which we didn’t mind. There’s also a nearby supermarket which is convenient.

The "Rustic Cabin" was exactly that. It had everything basic that one would need for a week's stay or even longer. It has solitude for sure, but is only a few miles drive from town when you need something or just want to eat out. It's a lovely spot with a large pond to explore if boating without motors is your interest. It's an interesting pond to explore from the water. I had a great and peaceful time there. It would also be a great place to introduce kids to "camping" in a more rustic environment.

This cabin was truly impeccable. The attention to detail was outstanding. If you’re into a cozy old-school cabin vibes you will not be disappointed! Incredibly clean and tidy. We appreciated all the time and theme appropriate details and decorations. Compared to many Airbnb’s the accommodations and accessories were way higher quality and more abundant. The fireplace was a real treat. Throughout our whole stay my friends and I were remarking on the quality of the place!

I’ve been going up to Brant lake for years with friends. I wanted my family to see my excitement and love for Brant lake. We booked the cutest cabin with Angie. We all felt right at home. Easy check-in. Angie was so responsive to all our questions quickly. The cabin is stocked, has a booklet filled of local things to do and local restaurant/stores recommendations, has kayaks and canoes for guests to use, has a great view of the lake and the details of the furniture and decor are amazing inside the cabin. We enjoyed our stay for the weekend here so much and we are already planning a week get away for next year. Highly recommend!

This is aptly named - we saw fireflies and deer in the meadow at night and butterflies and birds all day long. The breeezes and rain were lovely, but we were there during some unusual early summer heat which really affected the loft sleeping situation. Thankfully we were a small enough group to all move downstairs. Highlights/memories were the porch swing, watching the kids haul buckets of water from the pond, reading in the lovely sitting areas, swimming in Lake George and seeing historical sites. Solar power worked great.

This home itself is an experience!! The hosts have decorated it so nicely and classy that they deserve a big shout out for it. There are so many seating areas in this house that we didn’t even get to use them all. Place is exactly as mentioned by the hosts and actually even better than that. The best part is that the hosts are very prompt and helpful. They kept answering my questions before and after the booking within minutes. There is a lot to do in this home for people of all ages. Books, nicely selected board games, foosball table, giant chess, pool, grill and again infinite seating spaces for nice family time. Thanks guys for sharing your amazing place with us and we will definitely be back again whenever we plan a trip to Lake George. Thanks once again !!
