In the cozy living room with panoramic windows, large fireplace and open kitchen, you can leave everyday life behind and relax. In addition to the bedroom (double bed) with a spacious shower room, optionally one more person can be accommodated on the sofa bed (living room). A sunny terrace provides a further feel-good atmosphere.

The area is ideal for hiking, biking or relaxing in nature. The apartment is part of a small farm (Icelandic horses and sheep) about 4km outside of Gersbach in the south of the Black Forest. Dies ist die Erdgeschosswohnung (EG) in unserem schön gelegenen Haus in Tengen. Der Bau aus dem Jahr 1820 ist als erhaltenswertes Gebäude im Ensemble der Altstadt eingestuft. Die Bauweise in massivem Bruchstein gibt dem Haus eine wunderbare Atmosphäre; Dank der Lage am Stadtgraben hat man einen offenen Blick nach Süden. Weitere Wohnung im Obergeschoss: dem Erdgeschoss vermieten wir seit Kurzem auch die separate Wohnung im 1. Stock über Airbnb.

The special highlight: The living room has its own fireplace and many books to browse. Each room is filled with light, air & lightness. From each room you can directly access a balcony overlooking the beautiful nature. Hiking trails start right by the house.

The attic loft apartment (built in 2018) is located in a farmhouse with horses and is ideal for guests (individual or a couple) looking for peace and relaxation who only want to cater for themselves to a limited extent (breakfast). The cooking facilities on the brand new wood-burning stove are limited due to the sloping roof. There is a small electric hotplate. Dishes, coffee maker (Nespresso capsules) and kettle are provided.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Enjoy the view of the valley or the evening by the warming fireplace. Discover many small details and refinements in the completely self-designed and restored premises. Feel completely at ease - surrounded by natural materials and lush nature. Listen to the birdsong and bees buzzing, the gurgling of the stream, the distant bleating of the sheep or the calling of the cows.

Nature experiences - activities close to nature and culture

The house is situated in a spacious scattered settlement, the distance to the nearest house is about 50 meters. Apart from the guests, I live as a host in the house, the permanently rented apartment in the attic has a separate entrance from the outside. Guest access is at the bottom floor. Me as a host use the extra entrance in the basement.

Black Forest Country Cottage

This unique cottage is located in the heart of the Black Forest in the lovely valley called Kleines Wiesental in the village of Bürchau at about 750 metes above sea level. It's surrounded by forest and meadows. You will enjoy the beautiful view and the peace and far away from the noisiness of citys.
