The Donathütte at Schluchsee

Relax in this charming rustic mountain hut and enjoy the simple life. You will heat the place with a wood-fired oven (you will need to chop the wood yourself). 500m from the lake at the end of a private road and 1km from the trainstation. Bring everything you need for your stay and leave no traces. Important: Be aware that it is your responsibility to clean the hut before checking out and prepare everything for the next guests. Additional fee, Parabel in cash: Tourist tax- 3€ per night/person.

Mettlenhof, also known as Mettlen Farm, is a restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden-Württemberg. Built with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials, it provides a bright, welcoming space for up to 10 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of rolling hills, Icelandic horses, and Scottish Blackface sheep. Nested on a small hill our lovely secluded Black Forest Chalet with garden offers stunning lake views. Less than 1 minute to the lake! Enjoy your barbecue in our garden or a cozy evening in our living room (fireplace incl.). Our chalet is a journey back to the 1950`s and has been carefully renovated (bathrooms, kitchen: new) and upgraded to todays expectations in 2021. Please note that I can only offer Saturday to Saturday bookings during high season form May 30th until September 5th.

The Alte Tischlerei is an individual apartment (approx. 70 square meters of living space) for nature lovers, individualists, cooking enthusiasts, dog lovers or... It is equipped with a built-in kitchen, 80 cm induction range, convection oven and steam cooker, fridge/freezer and bathroom with very large shower and separate toilet. The area is open plan, so there is no enclosed bedroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating, barbecue and fencing.

The heated Waldhauser Hof Fässle offers a unique overnight experience. The quiet retreat is designed for two people and has a cozy double bed, a seating area, storage space and a kitchen corner with a wash basin and refrigerator. Outside, a seating lounge invites you to relax. A dry separation toilet is located next to the barrel. Please note that there is no shower. Ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to relax!

Enjoy a break in the middle of the countryside between goats and forests in a secluded location. Start the day with a glass of fresh goat's milk and enjoy the fantastic view and watch our goats and feel the calming effect. Right outside your front door you can start your hikes through the fascinating Black Forest. Our well-known Rothaus brewery is worth a trip. It can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.
