Vacation rentals with a patio in Scandicci

Tammy and Eme were wonderful hosts. My wife and I booked for quite a long stay as part of a sabbatical in Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Casa al Poggio is in a quiet location, surrounded by spectacular countryside, between two small towns, each charming in its own way, and with easy access to both Florence and Siena. Tammy and Eme offered great recommendations regarding places to explore in the local area and a host of tips that helped us get the most out of our stay. We absolutely intend to return and stay with them again.

The apartment is really very well-kept, stylish, well-furnished and very clean. The bed is of a comfort never experienced before in an apartment. Hosts are very friendly and super responsive. The area is well-served by public transport, below you will find tobacco bars and supermarkets. We'll definitely be back.

The accommodation looks like the pictures, we enjoyed our 4 nights stay. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use which was very helpful for us as we travelled with a small child. We felt comfortable, the surroundings are very beautiful and you can relax with ease. I appreciated that they provided 2 towels for my child to use, aside from ours. All in all I fully recommend this lovely place!

I stayed a little over a month and it was a great stay! Market 7 min walk, bus stop nearby, city center a good 45 min walk. Apartment just like the photos, host Elisa always responded promptly. I only had a problem with the freezer that I had to defrost because it produced a lot of ice and with a refrigerator that lowered the temperature on its own and as I kept insulin I was worried, but I already warned the host and she will definitely check. A good stay for those who prefer to stay outside the tourist center.

Short walk to the city center, but still private and quiet. The balcony is such a selling point of this place. My partner and I wish we could have stayed for a week or more, we felt so at home. We hope to come back next year!

This was a great place to stay while visiting Florence. Alice had great recommendations for dining. The grocery store and public transportation was conveniently located. The apartment was very nicely decorated.

We originally planned to stay at Bryan’s place over the weekend just to explore nearby Florence, but the charm of his home completely stole the show. Florence felt like the cherry on top instead of the other way around. Nestled in a huge, lush garden bursting with hundreds of flowers and all kinds of trees, and staying in a cozy apartment that felt like a little museum, we had such a wonderful, memorable experience that left us feeling truly happy. Bryan was not only super friendly and easy to talk to, but also incredibly welcoming and helpful. Next time we’re in Florence or any nearby town, there’s no question - we’ll be coming back here!

This is a wonderful stay if you don’t mind taking the tram into Florence (we didn’t!). We favoured the Batoni tram station as there is a water-filling station in the Piazza Mario (sparkling and still water) which is in between the tram station and the Airbnb. The air conditioning was great, the beds were comfortable and the entire place was beautifully decorated. Confirmed that one of the two dogs next door is not a fan of guests but it was entertaining in a way. There were no basic food ingredients or coffee pods left for use (apparently due to a local law), so if you intend to cook at home you will need to obtain all of the ingredients to cook. Overall a great stay and just a quick journey into town.

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

We loved staying here! the views out of the terrace and even the bathroom window were something I’ve never seen before, right out of a movie. About a 15 minute drive to the closest city, San Miniato, which has great restaurants. This was such a charming & peaceful place to stay in Tuscany, and the visits from the neighborhood cats on the terrace was a bonus! :)

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was even better than expected – very clean, well-equipped, and beautifully located. You could tell that the hosts really thought of everything. We especially appreciated how spotless everything was – it felt truly comfortable and welcoming from the first moment. The check-in process was smooth, communication was quick and helpful, and we felt well taken care of throughout our stay. How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

Great place for peace, quiet and beautiful mountain view from the private garden of this historic chapel. Our hosts, Titti and Antonio, were attentive and extremely helpful in our brief moment of crisis with our rental car issue. We had a beautiful time and a wonderful stay! We highly recommend this gorgeous property for your personal sanctuary with nature.

My stay at Andrea's place was absolutely excellent. The apartment was extremely clean and well-organized, which made it very comfortable from the moment I arrived. The location is perfect—close to everything and very convenient for getting around. The host was incredibly kind, professional, and responsive to any questions or requests. Lorenzo and Luca are two excellent hosts, super helpful and welcoming. Essential accommodation, comfortable and clean, adjacent parking, bus stop, cold table bar, rotisserie, self laundry, near the house. A 15-minute walk from the center and the racecourse for concerts.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb! The location was perfect - walkable to everything in Florence. The host was very quick to respond and very polite. The apartment itself is very spacious, clean, modern and great for a group of 6. It is a lot of stairs - this was actually a positive thing for us, as we needed a little exercise to burn off all of the pizza consumption haha. But be prepared that you will need to get your suitcases up / down the stairs. Overall we loved this spot and definitely would book it again!

We booked Francesco's house in 10 minutes without really thinking or searching since we got a last minute cancellation from our previous host. What was positive at first sight was that the was in the nature and 7 klms far from Florence. Francesco contacted us and sent us immidiately info about the check in. This reduced our stress. Excellent communication and useful info received from Francesco. The apartment is spacious and very well equiped surrounded by nature We enjoyed our stay and we recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Florence or part of Tuscan!

Daniela's place in Florence was the perfect balance of a quiet neighborhood and being close to the city center. The apartment was comfortable and clean and was only a 2-3min walk to the tram that takes you right to the city center of Florence where all the iconic sights and food can be reached. The apartment also had had all the necessary amenities for a few nights stay. The laundry machine and drying rack were easily available and were a much appreciated amenity. There was also a lockable, enclosed one car garage reserved for the apartment that we left our car in during our stay. The neighborhood also felt very safe and quiet even at night. Daniela was a great host who was very responsive and friendly and helpful with everything we needed. If you find yourself looking for a place outside the busy city center to stay while in Florence I highly recommend Danielas place!

For those who want to be around the center of everything while retaining a peace of mind, I highly recommend Alessandra’s place. A few highlights: 1. Peace and quietness even in the middle of the happening: Florence is becoming a touristy place, but the place sits on the highest floor so you are removed from the noisy streets and overbearing crowds. Yes, you’ll have to walk up the stairs with luggage, but I think it’s totally worth it. 2. Local recommendation and genuine hospitality: Alessandra was super helpful with recommendations, helping us book a taxi on the day of our departure. She also accommodates our travel schedule 3. Unique place with personal touch: we loved the place, from decorations to amenities. Beyond sleeping and showing, we also enjoyed cooking light meals and sitting at the outdoor balcony in the early mornings to listen to the birds

Llaria’s place was amazing! She’s a lovely host and the view while having cocktails on the terrace was stunning! Would definitely stay here again!
