It is hard to find the superlatives to describe this absolutely wonderful villa. We spent 3 nights there with a group of 8 friends and really did not want to leave. The setting of the property is even more amazing than on the pictures: a shady terrace overlooking a beautiful garden with a pool in the middle, surrounded by lush hillsides and sweeping views of the valley beneath - all of this in complete calm, peace and quiet. Really, like in a dream. Moreover, the place is extremely well-equipped, with a separate BBQ room, pizza oven, changing rooms/towels/sunbeds for the pool area, extra-large fridge and full kitchen with all the modern amenities. Everything was spotless clean. You can also feel the attention to little details in all aspects of the villa. The location is quite remote, so better to come by car. Virginia and Daniela were super kind and delightful, + very easy to communicate with (they live in an attached house). They even offer dinner from locally grown food. Great stay!

Beautiful home with incredible views and pool! We were looked after by Lara and Remus and had a wonderful 10 days relaxing. Easy location from which to visit Florence whilst being a peaceful and calm location to stay.

Wonderful stay at the Villa among the vineyards in Panzano. Vicky, the host, is the owner of Le Fonti winery with the villa surrounded by their vineyards and olive groves. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. The town of Panzano is very cute. We bought groceries at the Coop and made breakfast each morning, gathering in the cozy well equipped kitchen. There is a courtyard immediately outside the doors of the villa with a large table, and again amazing views. Our time in the villa was so relaxing! Though we went to several wineries, a highlight was a very personal tour of the winery, wine making process and wines by Vicky at Le Fonti. She spent time discussing/pouring the different wines, even bringing over the same wine from different years to show us the difference the weather/grape stress influences the final taste. Overall exactly what we wanted from a Tuscan experience and really enriched by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable host.

Great place to stay, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and very warm hosts! We lacked nothing. We were here with 7 people for our training camp and had a wonderful time in the villa. It's really even nicer than we would have expected from the pictures. Surrounded by olive trees and only a handful of other houses, you can perfectly unwind - whether by the pool, in the garden or in the house itself. Zara and Mark are very courteous and helpful. We immediately received an answer to every question and also a lot of helpful tips to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Zara showed us the area on a short morning hike. We would never have found these places without them. We will be back for sure.

We (2 couples) had a wonderful time at the Lazy Oak Villa. The booklet in the house had great recommendations for dinner in Loro Ciuffenna. We did wine tastings at 2 family vineyards located very close to the villa- Morandi Organic Winery with Denis and Società Agricola Caspriano with Simona. Highly recommend both. One of our couples was celebrating an anniversary and Mario arranged for a chef to come to the villa and prepare a traditional Tuscan meal. It was beyond words! The pool was pristine and such a great bonus with the summer heat.

We've just returned from a fantastic 4 night stay at Gianmarco's lovely house. It's exactly as described. We visited as a family of 7 (5 adults and 2 very young children), the house catered for us perfectly. Lots of space, very clean, child friendly with all the right amenities and super peaceful. Gianmarco, his wife and their dog live on-site but we never heard from them unless we needed something or asked for advice - they were then super responsive. Gianmarco was very helpful and friendly in the build-up to our stay with local recommendations. We would return in a heartbeat. We used the house as a base to visit Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. A car is required to get around as the house is located in a semi-remote village (which has excellent shops and restaurants). Thanks so much Gianmarco!

We had the most unforgettable stay at this stunning villa in the heart of Tuscany! From the moment we arrived, Anna was the most welcoming and attentive host – she went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and special. The villa itself is picture-perfect, nestled among rolling hills and olive trees, offering a true escape into the Tuscan countryside. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the incredible private cooking class with Vilma, our chef for the evening. She brought so much warmth, expertise, and joy to the experience – we learned how to make traditional Italian dishes from scratch, and the meal we shared afterward on the terrace was unforgettable. The pool area was a dream – peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring nearby towns like Siena and San Gimignano. We spent hours lounging in the sun, soaking in the views, and enjoying the quiet tranquility of the countryside.

My family and I -- six adults and a 9 month old -- spent two delightful weeks at Il Granaio. Before our arrival, Greg (the host) put me in touch with Ally, the property manager, who provided much useful information in advance and ensured we could find our way to the hidden gem that is Il Granaio. Once we arrived, Ally was available as needed, responsive to my queries as we settled in. We enjoyed the Villa and property immensely, using it as a base camp as we did day trips all around Tuscany and a longer visit to the Ligurian coast. The house was comfortable, attractive, and well-outfitted, with fantastic views from the second floor; the surrounding countryside was peaceful and beautiful; the pool was a perfect place to cool off and relax after being out and about; and the billiard table provided enjoyment for all! And having our own washer and dryer was incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with a baby. Wonderful memories were made for our family at Il Granaio!

Our family vacation to Villa Berni in Bottai was phenomenal, and it all started with the accommodations. Alessandro's brother, Enrico, met us as planned and gave us a tour of the villa. As requested, they provided 2 cribs for our grandbabies. With 6 bdrms and 5 bath, each couple had their own space, and the babies had their own rooms too. It was conveniently located taking 20 minutes to the Florence city center and other local towns provided everything we needed. Our favorite part of the villa was the garden courtyard. We had morning coffees and evening cigars/drinks. A bonus was the tortoises which the babies loved finding each morning to feed them strawberries. Part of the family farm, Enrico gave us a tour of the olive grove and farm animals. He even staged eggs for the grands to collect. Our last night, we arranged pro chefs to prep an authentic Tuscany dinner. This kitchen met their needs, and we ate in the courtyard. We couldn't ask for more...Thanks for hosting us!

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

Our stay felt like something out of a movie. Janine has decorated the home with love and attention to detail. We loved the pool and decided to spend a day doing nothing but lazing by the pool eating home cooked food in the amazing kitchen. Memories were made here and we will 100%. Return for a longer stay as you will not beat the view from Janine’s villa anywhere in Tuscany.

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first experience in Tuscany and it did not disappoint. The house is very private, there is only 1 house behind it however from most viewpoints you cannot see it and we never saw anyone. Volterra is a beautiful medieval place that will make you feel like you are in a movie. An hour from Pisa, drivable to many many wineries in the surrounding regions, this air bnb is a perfect place to stay and we hope to return again.

Staying in this villa in Tuscany was an absolute dream come true! The place is beautiful – surrounded by picturesque hills, full of peace and Italian charm. The villa itself is decorated with great taste, very clean, spacious and fully equipped – we lacked nothing. And the pool? A wonder! Perfect for relaxing with a view of the Tuscan landscapes, especially at sunset. We would like to especially thank the host – for the warm welcome, helpful tips and cordiality we felt throughout our stay. This place has a soul, and the atmosphere is conducive to true relaxation. We wholeheartedly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan experience – we will definitely be back! The property are spectacular, with all the amenities, Anna is an excellent host, courteous, friendly and willing to help, we loved the property and enjoyed our stay very much. It is a place we recommend 100% and if we return to Italy we would love to stay there again. It's close to Florence and other cities in Tuscany. There are supermarkets 3 minutes from the property, as well as restaurants and everything you need for a wonderful stay.

The wonderful view can be enjoyed both as a couple and with friends. It is very quiet and everything has been thought of: outside there are very comfortable seating options, a grill and pool. The garden smells of jasmine everywhere. There's nothing missing inside either. The house is perfect and is in the perfect location. After 20 minutes by car you can reach San Gimignano. Simply a dream and always worth a trip 😍

The place was better than the pictures. We were well received. We couldn't get there before 3 a.m. and the host made it easy to check in and we were able to enter the house after that time. The space was beautiful. All rooms have a bathroom, which made it easier for a group of 7 adults. The space with rugs by the fireplace in the living room was excellent for my 3-year-old son to play. The pool has a simply beautiful view. The area is clean and organized. Whenever I had a question, I was always answered quickly. The house is rustic and simply beautiful. The space for grilling was private for us and cozy. A place I recommend and hope to return to one day :)

This property exceeded our expectations with spectacular views and peaceful, natural surroundings! The host was friendly and responsive. The proximity to San Gimignano and other Tuscan destinations was convenient. Each day felt magical! Just sitting on the patio was amazing! An unforgettable destination and experience!

This place is fabulous. Margherita was responsive so quickly. We had a 11 people six adults and five kids. Loved the pool and hot tub. Margherita made reservations for us and suggested day trips. She even got a wheelchair for me for the Hill towns. Take advantage of their cooking. they did meals for us, which were fantastic. And even organized a birthday dinner for the three young girls. They did the birthday cake and even gave them a gift. It was fabulous. Don’t hesitate to book. We did day trips to Sienna, pisa,Luca, panzano, pienza and multipulciano. And two trips to the luxury mall.!Her parents are so helpful too. Olive oil and their wine is fantastic. The only regret I have is that we didn’t have extra days and spend the time right around villa. I think we would have really enjoyed the wine tasting and olive tastings. I would’ve stayed easily another week. Do take advantage of her massages too. My kids thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It exceeded my expectations!!!!! Ten stars!!!!!!

We were impressed from the moment we arrived. The home is located at the top of a hill in a 6 hectare working olive grove. A couple of horses greeted us on our arrival. The space was beautiful, large and comfortable. Beds were great, the location was very quiet and the view from the property was fantastic. Our two boys were thrilled with the pool and we found it a refreshing way to wake up in the morning. We used it as a base to travel to Cinque Terre, Sienna, San Gimignano and other locations in Tuscany. If you are staying here, a car is recommended (which we did), as the bus is around 800m (half mile) down from the residence and that means, it would be a walk back up at the end of the day. We highly recommend this place and would go back.

Overall a very nice stay. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to be near San Gimignano yet peaceful.
