Great location and easy access to the beach.

We had a great stay at Marcella's place in the second half of October with glorious weather and much time spent on the beach. The property was clean, spacious, well-equipped, quiet and within a 5 min walking distance from the most beautiful beach nearby. Marcella was a super-attentive host replying to all our questions almost immediately. The only thing to be aware of are the mosquitoes which prevented us from having the windows open apart from the one with a mosquito net on. I highly recommend the place and would go back there.

A beautiful place to explore wider Puglia from. Great host. Would return. Situated just north of Porto Cesareo. Car essential with parking space inside secure perimeter walls. Most sights were 45-90 minute drive. Modern, clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Self-catered: 20 mins to nearest Lidl. Short drive to reach restaurants (10 minutes). End of October still warm and sunny in daytime (shorts, t-shirt and slides). Able to swim in small pool (very refreshing though ☺️) and in the sea at nearby beach (5 mins walk: sandy and shallow). Arrived after a severe rain so suffered more with mosquitoes outside which stopped us sitting out in the evenings sadly. Solar-powered hot water very limited (max 2 very short showers). No hot water from kitchen tap. Immersion heater did not seem to get temperature past tepid even after a couple of hours. Would be less of an issue in high summer. Out of season largely was silent around (beach club noise one evening).

S+E’s centrally located, comfortable, spacious, and clean studio apartment in addition to their hospitality and kindness helped to make my vacation fantastic. They were flexible with my check-in, greeted me upon arrival, and showed me the place. The unit is within a 5-10-minute walk to many restaurants and shops in beautiful Porto Cesareo. I appreciated the full kitchen, mokkapot, and beach umbrella in addition to the screens on the windows and darkness of the room while sleeping. They provided snacks, which I enjoyed, in addition to milk and sweets. I appreciate their son’s assistance with checking in and out, too. The unit has ample on-street parking, and often there was a spot open right in front the rental unit. Thank you, S, E, and son for opening your unit to me.
