The town of Wehlen is located in the Upper Elbe Valley in the heart of Saxon Switzerland National Park. The tranquil health resort looks back on almost 800 years of history. The market house is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel of Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

The farm is located directly on the Cunnersdorfer stream and offers, in addition to the two apartments, peace, relaxation and pure nature in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

- At the beginning of 2024, we renovated and cozily designed for our guests - Our approx. 40 m² non-smoking apartment is for 2-3 people. - It has a separate entrance and a quiet sun terrace. - In the large living / sleeping room there is a large double bed, a sofa bed, a large armchair and satellite TV. - The small modern kitchenette offers all possibilities of self-catering. - The bathroom is equipped with glass shower, underfloor heating and hair dryer.

Zschirnstein Fewo: Fireplace apartment with plenty of space

The apartment is nicely spacious and airy. Thanks to the many windows, it is not only when the sun is flooded with light and friendly, but also cuddly due to the wood stove. One bedroom is slightly larger and has a great flair – matching the Elbe sandstone mountains – thanks to an exposed old sandstone wall. The other one is wonderfully light. In both bedrooms there are reading lamps. The dove blue and white tiled bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and shower.

The city center and public transport S-Bahn, bus and boat are about a 15-minute walk.
