Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sassi di Matera

Phenomenal location with beautiful views. Accommodations were great and communication with host was easy. I locked us out of the apartment and host was there very quickly to let us in. We rented a car and the parking is quite expensive and confusing, which our host notified us about. I would definitely recommend Daniela’s place and would come back again. It’s a very local feel, but close enough to be in the “thick of things”.

Great stay in a quiet yet convenient location. Parking was easy to find nearby, and the apartment is an easy stroll to the main square, the Duomo and down to the Sassi. Very comfortable stay for four adults and Alessandro was accomodating with an early check in and great restaurant recommendations. Had a marvellous few days.

The location was fantastic - right around the corner of the Duomo, heart of Sassi. We got breakfast vouchers from the host, which we could use at the cafe nearby. Nino was friendly host and always available when we needed him!

This place was absolutely magical! The host was incredibly flexible and shared fantastic local recommendations. The apartment was in the perfect location with breathtaking views—and the value for what you get is amazing. Parking was easy, and best of all, we didn’t have to haul our luggage up or down any stairs. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

숙소 위치가 두오모 바로 옆이어서 마테라를 걸어서 돌아다니기에 완벽했습니다. Patrizia가 시외버스정거장에서부터 택시를 예약해줘서 편하게 올 수 있었고 항상 빠르게 답변하고 요청 사항도 잘 들어주었습니다. 사진에서 본거처럼 집이 예쁘고 아늑해서 좋았어요! 마테라에 3박도 모자르네요 다시 오고 싶어요!

Nous avons passé une nuit à Matera chez Anna et nous avons été ravis! La maison se situe au plein centre de la ville, avec une magnifique vue dei Sassi di Matera, est facilement accessible, et très confortable! La maison est typique, et nous sommes émergés dans l’ambiance de Matera! Je recommande :)

Luciano is awesome, the apartment is awesome, and Matera is awesome. We stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute! The view of the Sassi from the small balcony is something we spent hours enjoying and will never forget. It was fun to stay in a cave and yet enjoy modern amenities. Luciano left us great reading material about Matera and made excellent recommendations for food and sight seeing. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are lucky enough to come to Italy again. Thank you, Luciano, for giving us the opportunity to experience such a magical place.

Tive uma ótima estadia em Matera! O apartamento é espaçoso e tem tudo que é necessário para uma estadia cômoda. É perto do centro, com arredores agradáveis e boas opções de alimentação. Carmelita me deu todas as orientações necessárias e tinha fácil comunicação. Indico muito este lugar!

Die grosszügige Wohnung von Imma ist ein wahres Fundstück! Sie entspricht der Beschreibung und von der ruhigen Terrasse hat man einen wunderbaren Blick. Wir hatten bereits Temperaturen über 30 Grad, aber die Wohnung war angenehm kühl. Imma ist äusserst hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation mit ihr ist einfach. Ihre positive Energie und Liebe zu Matera hat uns sofort auch erfasst!

Perfect location to explore Sassi, easy parking, walkable, fabulous restaurants recommendations, and every thing was so perfect with welcome fruit, breakfast, coffee, and more. The place is so new and well cared for that 5 star rating is just not enough. Really great experience.

Het verblijf in de b&b van Cosimo was top! Het was een superleuk loft appartement waar wij verbleven met onze zoon van 1 jaar. Cosimo was erg behulpzaam en aardig en als er wat was kon hij direct helpen. De auto parkeren was ook geen probleem en stond praktisch voor het huis. De sfeer van het huis is superleuk en ook de ligging is top. Je loopt zo Matera in en alles wat je nodig hebt is binnen handbereik. Oh en niet te vergeten: het internet is hier super! Mocht je ergens remote willen werken (wat ik wel af en toe moest) dan kan dat hier echt mega goed! Nergens in Italië was het internet zo snel als hier. Kortom: een heerlijke plek! Als wij weer in Matera zijn, komen we zeker terug!

Ideal gelegene Unterkunft in einem Randquartier ohne Durchgangsverkehr und trotzdem ganz nahe beim Zentrum, das zu Fuss einfach zu erreichen ist. Das Appartement ist stilvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auf dem kleinen Balkon haben wir jeweils gefrühstückt und den Blick auf die Altstadt und die Landschaft genossen. Alles hat bestens geklappt. Für uns war es die perfekte Unterkunft. Roland +Barbara

Beautiful place that is very close to the city center and all of the sights of Matera. You can walk everywhere from the apartment. We especially appreciated private parking, where we could keep our car safe. The host was proactive, helped us park on arrival, and very responsive. Excellent experience, would absolutely stay again.

Wir haben 3 Übernachtungen in der Unterkunft verbracht und unsere Zeit sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr toll gelegen und Pasquale konnte uns zusätzlich viele hilfreiche Tipps für Matera geben. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The 1er Grand Cru of airbnb. In Te Reo Maori has a word to describe care and hospitality, being manaakitanga. Pasquale has this with a strong commitment to his craft of hosting. He spent time orienting us with the area and provided a generous selection of local delicacies. An unobtrusive host with a meticulously appointed property. Emanuele's property was really clean, in good order and well organized. It was very close to the old city and parking around was ok to find ( payable ). There is a park outside and some teens gather and party until night so that made some noise but closing the windows helped a bit. The balcony was really good but had no shade made so kind of useless in the sunny hot weather Overall the property was great for a one night stay Thank you

We had a great stay. The apartment situated in the attic but it was not that bad although we have suitcases, we left them in the trunk, only took necessary items. The apartment has everything we need, more than enough I would say, spacious and comfortable. The area was very quiet. Highly recommended.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Vito, dans un appartement très agréable à vivre et à proximité de la splendide cité de Matera. Appartamento super: elegante, moderno, luminoso spazioso e funzionale, come da foto e descrizione , in ogni particolare . Con le sue 3 camere da letto e i 2 bagni é stato perfetto per la nostra vacanza (3 coppie) . Posto centrale rispetto alle localitá scelte da visitare, a 40 minuti di auto da Matera, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello, Grotte di Castellana, Castel del Monte e tante altre bellezze pugliesi. Nelle adiacente pasticcerie, ristoranti, pizzerie, caseifici e gelaterie . Tutti servizi prontamente cinsigliati dall'Host Luciano, sempre disponibile e attento alle necessità dei suoi ospiti .
