We had a wonderful stay at Eleonora’s apartment. It was just gorgeous spotlessly clean light bright and spacious and the location was perfect. The view from the terrace was so lovely. Eleonora made us the yummiest pikelets for breakfast. It was also a bonus having a washing machine to wash our clothes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay while visiting stunning Matera.

Claudio met us at the house with great recommendations. The house was stunning in the mutual living area with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped. The downstairs large bathroom had a washer and a sitting area in which we were able to dry clothes in. The house location is a bit difficult to get large suitcases to, however, we were fine with backpacks and smaller bags. The same holds true for the upstairs bedroom because of the spiral staircase. The view from the upstairs bedroom is wonderful. I highly recommend this house if you want to stay in the Sassi area of Matera!

Very well located cottage, in close proximity to the sea. Our two-week stay at the end of May was very quiet, as the season had not started. The setting is very pleasant, in a very protected pine forest. The cottage is spacious, and very well-equipped. The welcome was great, in a perfectly tidy and clean house. The owner and his family are available and very welcoming. Within a 1.5-hour radius, many tourist sites are accessible. I would highly recommend it, especially in May and early June, when peace and quiet are guaranteed. Great experience. Recommended!

We were very well received in the house of Mrs. Tina and Mr. Vittorio, very polite, kind and helpful people. They welcomed us warmly, explained the characteristics of the apartment well, made us find the necessary for breakfast and the basic things they serve in the house. We stayed for Christmas and we were very happy to find the house adorned. The apartment is large , very comfortable in a quiet location, with ample parking. Underneath the house is the bus stop downtown, 300 meters away there is a bakery and two supermarkets,pharmacy, a tobacco bar,a grocery store. Consider that having stayed in winter, we could not enjoy the beautiful pool and garden. We recommend thisapartment to stay in Matera. Surely the next time we come to Matera , we will be happy to return to Domus Angela

Emanuele's property was really clean, in good order and well organized. It was very close to the old city and parking around was ok to find ( payable ). There is a park outside and some teens gather and party until night so that made some noise but closing the windows helped a bit. We had an amazing stay at this location in Matera. It is only a five minute walk to the main old town square, and only 20 minutes walk across town. We were able to access the entire town of Matera on foot very comfortably. The flat was charming, comfortable, and spacious enough for our group. Would recommend this stay!
