The coasts of the North and Baltic Seas can be reached in about 1 to 1.5 hours. The area offers several hiking trails for active recreation. At the southern end of Fitzbek there is a canoe docking facility. The apartment with 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms with direct views of Fitzbek's storks is on the first floor of an old farm.
