Kid-friendly vacation rentals in São Tomé and Príncipe

We had a wonderful stay at Heiko's place. It's in a small village and we loved the experience of staying in the community. Heiko made sure we had a friendly local contact in the village who was kind and helpful. The garden is beautiful and it was nice to have the gas stove as the power goes out sometimes on the island. It's helpful to bring a torch or headlamp when you stay. There is a lush shortcut walking trail down from the house where you can walk down to San Antonio in about 30-40 minutes. The house is also near the national park so we loved seeing all the parrots and other birds around. If you are looking for a simple local experience, Heiko's place is perfect to appreciate the warm Príncipe culture. Many Heiko for the excellent communication and lovely stay!

The area is safe and quiet, and located close to the center. Ju as a host was proactive and helpful in many ways, and was willing to help us out with whatever we needed. I felt really comfortable staying there. One minor (even irrelevant) inconvenience for us was that one bathroom had hot water whilst the other didn't. It was not a problem taking turns. I would recommend the house to anyone wanting to visit Sao Tome.

Ivanor and his family welcomed us warmly being always available to meet our necessities. They sometimes shared their meals, allowing us to taste their family specialties. The neighbor ,Josimar , of exceptional kindness and availability, made us discover both the beauty and the reality of his country. A real immersion in the life of São Tomé, an exceptional and unforgettable experience.

Lance is a great host! He was very considerate and responsive at all stages! He is a very helpful person and was a great guide to the rest of our trip. Her house is simple and very comfortable. We really thank him for his kindness and recommend his place!

An amazing place on an amazing location. The house is big with nice bedrooms. The table outside on the porch has an amazing view over the fruitful garden and makes you wanna sit there all day. Our host Lional was super friendly and always around. Internet failed to work, but that actually only had a positive effect on our stay. On a place like this you don't want the distraction of everyday life.

First of all, put this destination on your bucket list,especially if you love green vegetation : it’s just a paradise. Then, make sure to choose Daile’s place. Last and definitely not least, the host is just fantastic !

Tho the bungalow park being new and us being the first to visit, we loved our stay. The madame and the manager on site were so kind. Because we can’t speak Portuguese. There was a language barrier. Nevertheless they really did their best to communicate with us. They were very accommodating even providing us breakfast before 6 in the morning (we needed to leave early). As for dinner, besides great flavour, they put effort in the presentation. The price for the food is a bit higher than local restaurants. However the low price for accommodation makes up for this. There is a beautiful beach nearby. We would recommend staying here.

The stay went extremely well. The hosts are onions for our comfort, take care of us with little touches throughout the stay. Breakfast is to die for! And they were able to help us find everything we needed in town to start the holiday with peace of mind! The center is 5 min away and the sea, at the foot of the house. Perfect 👌 😁

We felt well taken care of from the first second. Communication was just great…for little things, the staff was right there and helped us. Highly recommended is the food that is prepared specially. The way to the beach (about 10 minutes) is a bit adventurous but can be managed without major problems. We also liked the uncomplicated car booking. If there are extra requests, such as a SIM card, beer or fresh fruit, the staff drove into town and took care of everything.

I Booked 2 rooms as I was on a work trip with a colleague. The same review applies to both rooms. certainly my No 1 choice for Sao Tomè for places to stay.

Everything is great. The house is beautiful, there is no air conditioning but we already knew and the sea makes a lot of noise as it is a bursting zone

This is a great place to stay in São Tomé! It was clean and homey. It’s very close to the airport and the city and Fátima is fantastic! She is so helpful and nice and made us feel very at home. There is also WiFi and air conditioning here.

José was a friendly and considerate host. His apartment was not available to us due to unexpected difficulties with water supply, but José already had alternative arrangements in place for us at a very nice guest house. We would definitely make contact with him again at our next stay.
