House vacation rentals in Santana Beach

Such a beautiful place, love the house layout and the views are awesome… Very comfortable place with everything you might need for your stay. Rudy and Alex (Rudy’s place caretaker) are very kind and friendly people, always eager to make your stay the best they can.

The place is just as in the photos, comfortable, clean and with everything you need. Although it is not in front of the beach, it makes up for it with the open and green space around it, very cozy. The pool area is perfect. We would definitely come back

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! We had an amazing stay! The house had all the comforts of home; fantastic kitchen which had everything you need, big bathrooms and ultra comfortable beds! The grounds and pool area were gorgeous and were definitely the highlight! It was so peaceful and private - just heaven. Watching the monkeys swing up above you in the trees and listening to the birds was just magical. Indalecio was so lovely and catered to our every whim! Jim and Suzie, the owners, were an absolute delight and Becky was on top of all of our questions. We loved El Gigante, especially Redonda Bay! We will miss Luna and Charlie Max!!

Having reviewed the pictures, description, and reviews ahead of making our reservation, we were not met with any surprises. Upon our 1 week stay we were particularly impressed with the thought that went into designing and staging the home. It sits at the intersection of lush greenery and the ocean. This makes for the most breathtaking views of the ocean, sunset, birds, or even monkeys swinging on the trees at a distance. One thing with planning and cost implications that we underestimated was the key need for a vehicle to get around. However, the host proactively provided a reliable solution for this along with recommendations for local spots and activities. We will gladly stay again

This airbnb was perfect for what were looking for- a nice place on the beach, close to places to eat, and just somewhere not pretentious or expensive. We had everything we needed at a great price.

A peaceful and comfortable place. The ac was such a relief from the 90+ temps outside, which made sleeping so comfortable. The first night there was a power outage. We since learned this is very unusual for more than a a couple minutes. But maybe pack a little battery fan just in case. So far it's our favorite spot to stay in Guasacate. Very spacious, peaceful, and secluded.. The stars were beautiful. Ian and Sydney answered any questions we had promptly. 5 stars!

I loved this home! Everything was so open & close to the beach! Sebastian made getting around easy & helped whenever we needed.

Beautiful new house about a 1 minute walk to the main break at Colorado's. Very happy with the stay. Would absolutely stay here again. Air conditioning worked great. The space was clean and comfortable. Great place!

I booked this place for 2 nights for my wife and family (8 guests) We had a great time , it rained the first day but there is space on the property to relax and stay dry. Helpful and friendly staff and a really nice Place to stay with guests. Would recommend.

I loved that place. Stayed there for 2 weeks and was supposed to stay only for 1. Definetly a nice place to stay if you want privacy ! Daniel is awesome as well ! Loved him !

The place is very pretty and the host very responsive. She provided an accommodation for the heat. The only downfall was that the water pressure in the showers was at a minimum which made it inconvenient for the amount of time we stayed.

The eco casita at Hacienda Iguana exceeded our expectations. It is beautifully appointed with Masaya y Co furniture - arguably the best furniture being produced in Managua currently of reforested teak and beautiful, comfortable designs. That was a very special little bonus! The kitchen is very well stocked - among the best I've had in an airbnb. No pantry foods (which I never expect) but did have a full set of glass tupperware, saran wrap/aluminum foil and good quality cookware in good condition (plus all the other basics and much more). The management team was very quick to respond to a couple of minor issues which they resolved immediately. The restaurants at Hacienda Iguana serve a very high quality of food and unique to Nicaragua not available in other parts of the country. It is our new favorate place to beach it in Nicaragua - we will be back for sure!

superb value for money. We paid about $26 per night in the rainy season. plenty of space, modern furnishings, good amenities in the kitchen. Close to the beach. Because of other reviews: Insects are quite normal in Nicaragua. If none were there, it would make me suspicious because then probably an environmentally harmful insecticide was used. Power outages are also normal. Unfortunately, we had some problems with the internet as a result, but Rosie and chilano were very helpful. Chilano also takes you to the nearest supermarket by motorbike. Drinking water is also provided free of charge on the property.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ely's place. The location is absolutely fantastic, no other words needed. We needed some assistance after check-in and Ely was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. it's s great modern house, we will definitely be back 😎😊

Juan José is an excellent host. His property is perfect for family stays, with all areas of the house thoughtfully designed. The home offers ample space for family activities indoors, and the beach is just a few meters away, featuring easy and secure access. Communication with Juan José and Félix was consistently smooth. We are certain to return very soon. Congratulations to the hosts, Juan José and his wife Sandy.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Rosada. The house was perfect for our needs, with a fully equipped kitchen, a pool and a nice shaded area to sit outside and watch the sunset. It was also wonderful to be in Rancho Santana and take advantage of their activities - my daughter especially enjoyed horseback riding. We also enjoyed the pool and restaurant at the Inn, and La Boquita restaurant. Hector checked in on the house daily to clean the pool and grounds, and Karina provided housekeeping services and answered any questions that we had. Rodis was also very responsive to our questions and needs. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a great time at the Surf Sanctuary. The property is well maintained and is peaceful with plenty of space. It was a nice place to unwind and is close to the surf. I would definitely stay here again. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Carmen is great to communicate with and her home is beautiful. The beach is your backyard and there was security during the duration of our trip, so we felt safe the whole time. The housekeepers made us breakfast on one of the days we were there which was great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Everything was great and we loved the house. We absolutely loved the sauna. Everything was great and we’d like to return. Only comment I’d make is that there is a separate room outside the house that when rented, pool and sauna have to be shared, and that was not clear. Some people don’t have a problem with that, but we rather not share.
