One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

The apartment is small like described but very clean and functional. I was surprised that it’s located inside a doctors place but that didn’t bother me at all :) there’s a bus running to the central station but it’s far from the beach. However I would recommend the apartment!

Serena was an excellent host, being responsive to our questions. The location was perfect in the centre of the village and the lovely large bedroom dominated the apartment.

Very nice apartment, in a quiet area, very clean and cozy. There were 5 of us, including 3 children between 7 and 15 years old: all satisfied. Recommended!!

This is a rare find in Italy. Modern, immaculate, with an elevator, a clothes washer, a clothes dryer!!, a 3/4 size refrigerator instead of the dormitory size often found, an oven, a microwave, electric blinds in case you need to block out the light. A giant TV. The remotes were shrink wrapped in plastic. I actually asked where I could buy their sheets because they are fresh, white, and either 100% cotton or 100% linen/cotton blend. The air conditioning works great. Having stayed in many places in Italy over the years, I can testify that you won’t find a place like this combined with kind and friendly folks like this very often. Termoli has a lovely wide swath of accessible walkable beach, and in late September was not inundated with tourists. The main street has upscale stores, and the historic center is small but lovely. Views from the fortress over the Adriatic- priceless. I will be back. Enjoy!

We've had a lovely little weekend in Pescara, staying at Daniela's place. We found the description and picture to match the reality, really clean, right in the center, close to the beach and great restaurants with yummy local food. We were able to have a smooth check in and check out and Daniela has been an amazing host, very prompt and answering all our questions graciously and friendly, very prompt. It was a bit colder than we expected but that was just related to the weather and the period we visited. We were able to turn on the heat and make it comfortable for our stay which was great. Loved it and I definitely recommend you to stay there, you'll feel right at home !

The apartment is well equipped. Everything is there, you even had a parasol to use. Wifi is good. We were 5 people and were very satisfied.

Really very nice everything. The house is very well located, less than 10 minutes from Vasto and 35 minutes from Termoli. It also has a nice view and it was exactly what the ad showed. Very good bathroom and full kitchen. It was very clean and tidy and Teodor was very kind to tell us that if we needed anything, we could contact him without any problems. I really recommend the place because it's very quiet.

Thank you for your hospitality, care, welcome and help in times of need. We had an accident with the car and the host offered to take us to the beach and pick us up; he was also with us all morning, physically helping us to fix the car, and then accompanying us both to the mechanic and the car electrician in the village. Thank you so much for everything. The house is very, very beautiful and comfortable.

You immediately felt at home with Maria and Nunzio. The two also spoke good German. Nunzio picked us up directly from the parking lot and accompanied us to the apartment. As a welcome, there were great treats from the area, as well as water and sparkling wine in the refrigerator as a welcome greeting. The area is really great and some beautiful beaches. Tips from the two were always very good and super friendly. It was like family! Thank you

Wonderful place in the San Grasso region.

Well-maintained and very cozy house. We had a very good time with the owner of the accommodation, very helpful and kind. I highly recommend it if you want to have a relaxing and quiet experience surrounded by greenery and in a great location just minutes from the ski lifts.

The apartment is a few meters from the beach and is well equipped! The terrace is private and very large. Unfortunately, the hot tub did not work during our stay, which we found very unfortunate, maybe we will have more luck next time. Thank you Lorenza for the lovely stay!

Everything is perfect!

A beautiful , well designed apartment with fantastic views looking across to the centro storico. The en-suite bathrooms are a real bonus. It is on the third floor but there is a lift with one flight of stairs. It is located close to the main sites so the car can be parked up in the secure area and forgotten. Alessandra was very enthusiastic and helpful. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Beautiful property, everything faithfully corresponding to the photos and description of the listing. It is a small but beautiful regenerating oasis of tranquility and beauty, excellent for leaving behind hectic rhythms and stress. Amelia and her partner are excellent hosts, always available for any need and never intrusive. We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful place. Intimate, very relaxing, full of details and thoughtfulness, very clean. Very kind owner, very nice and attentive to give every indication. The area is very peaceful. If you want peace, it's a good place to "escape."

We stayed here to escape the British winter and we couldn’t have stayed in a better place to both work from and to discover this wonderful part of Italy. Luciano was on hand via messaging, he gave us gifts, cooked for us, dropped a meal in when I was poorly and was all in all the perfect host…without being intrusive. The apartment is a fabulous size, the beds are comfy and there is plenty of room for two people to work…and also good wifi. There are handy supermarkets within a 5 minute walk and larger ones within a 2 minute drive. We’d recommend you have a car to explore the area fully, but there are also plenty of villages close enough to walk/cycle to. For cycling the area is particularly excellent. We loved our time here. Returning is our priority!
