Vacation rentals with a fire pit in San Marcos

Paul and Amy's place is just as described - a big backyard with plenty of space for dogs to run around, spa amenities, and a comfortable interior. I ran the SD marathon, so it was nice having the spa treatment there. The area is nice and walkable, with restaurants nearby by car. Would stay again!

Wow! Reserve this hidden gem now. This "elegant beach house" is beautifully decorated in contemporary chill--with all the amenities to sleep in and stay home or go out all day and come home and relax. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to gather for a movie, play board games, or retreat to our own space. We could go outside and play cornhole--or split time between the hot tub and the firepit in the beautifully landscaped backyard--then eventually fall asleep in the super comfortable beds. We hated to leave the place. Spotless bathrooms--and all throughout the space. The kitchen was pristine, and well-equipped (extra coffee! ;-) to cook our own feast or order out--and room for our 8 to sit at the same table, inside or out. 15 minutes to the beaches--Oceanside/Carlsbad--and you can bring the provided chairs, umbrella, etc. Instantly responsive hosts: "attentive but not intrusive"--like good friends we'd just met--the BEST! Overall stay was very enjoyable! The hosts are quick and responsive and extremely helpful. The place itself had a very nice jacuzzi/pool to use when relaxing after a long day of exploring the area. The area is very peaceful and relaxing.

Overall fantastic stay! House owner lives on property but the house is secluded just for house guest use. An incident happened where my daughter had an accident during nap time and Kathleen responded quickly and helped us with the change of bedding.

This place was such an amazing experience for us. It was just the tranquil, spacious and comfortable stay that our big family needed. Everyone had a blast. We appreciated all the amenities and the area. It was the most well stocked place I’ve ever stayed. They had everything needed to cook every meal and I couldn’t recommend more. Everything was so well thought out and beautiful.

We didn’t want to leave. This host is extremely thoughtful with all that you could use on vacation. My husband and my 15month old accompanied me on this adventure to the beach. Just a few blocks away we loaded up our wagon and just enjoyed all the great restaurants and activities around. Besides being the perfect location, this Airbnb was well stocked including a High chair and pack n play for the baby. No clutter around other than a few tasteful decorations we were able to put up so baby couldn’t reach them. The cleaners have done an amazing job at every inch of the home, to the extent that I felt comfortable with my infant roaming around. We will be saving this booking for future use because it was beyond my favorite place to stay. As per the host, they are responsive kind and understanding. This is a wonderful place! It was perfect for two couples celebrating the birthday of one of us -- with two separate bedrooms, each with its bathroom. It will also be great for a larger family. There is an upper deck from which you can see the ocean, which is perfect for a relaxing morning coffee and/or cheerful happy hour. We were steps away from the water and did not miss the spectacular sunsets from Tower #9. The well-equipped kitchen allowed for the preparation of fully cooked meals, and the dining table was beautiful, which allowed us to fully enjoy those meals. We love Oceanside and really hope to return soon and stay close to Tower #9 again!

We really enjoyed getting out of the city this weekend. Susan’s place is tucked away and peaceful, and it was beautiful! We loved lounging by the pool and hearing all the birds, seeing her horses, and hearing the frogs and crickets at night. Definitely a good place to unwind if you are looking for a place to relax. Susan was really quick to respond to issues and was very proactive. Good place for a couple - just a note that there isn’t a complete closure to the bathroom, but that didn’t bother us at all.

Beautiful little apartment down in Carlsbad. Right next to the beach with a nice outdoor barbecue/lounge area. Owners were very responsive and kind!

Such a great spot! Quiet and peaceful, unbeatable location. Windensea is a stone’s throw away La Jolla is super walkable. Cy lives right there on the property and goes above and beyond. He has thought of everything a guest could need and is there ready to help with anything. Thanks for everything Cy!

Great stay at Marabella! The views were stunning from our room! Located right on the water, walking distance from many shops and restaurants. The patio was nice and grounds were well kept and clean. The beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and outdoor shower was definitely appreciated. It was perfect!

Dan & Britt are very gracious hosts! They were proactive in reaching out to us to make sure we were comfortable and were attentive to our needs throughout our stay. Their Airbnb was better than the photos and my family and I absolutely loved the views it offered as well as the neighborhood of Oceanside. The house itself was very spacious and clean. We had a chance to truly decompress for a couple of days! I would highly recommend a stay here and we plan on going back.

Aubrey's place was beautiful and very comfortable. The neighborhood was nice and quiet but still within walking distance from all of our favorite places in Oceanside.

If you enjoy peace and quiet, far from the hustle and bustle of even a small city, and incredible views from your bedroom window, this place is a must stay! Victoria, our host did a great of communicating and working us to make sure we had all of the necessary details in advance of when we needed them and the house has all you’ll need for your time there. Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely choose to stay here in the future.

Such a beautiful and peaceful little cabin in the woods. Everything was absolutely perfect. Sandra was so kind and answered all of our questions and gave such easy instructions to get to the house. It made for the most perfect weekend getaway we could ask for. If we're ever in the area again we know exactly where we're staying!

This place is exactly what you see. You have all the privacy you need, but you're not too far away from the market. Finding the place, getting inside and the amount of things that you can do at the home, makes it worth the stay. The house was spotless, and everything in the house works. No surprises.

People were not kidding in their reviews. This place is so peaceful and so lovely, so organized, and just like eeeeeveryone else said- that bed. It is heaven. Will def be staying here again.

If you are looking to escape citylife and unplug from modern society, Julie's cabin is the right place for you. It is so peaceful there surrounded by tree and so many birds to watch and listen to.

Our family of four loved staying here. The campground has a nice layout. The home has everything you need. They put a lot of thought and love to the home. The beds were great and we were very comfortable in every room. The kids loved it. The host was very responsive. We'd love to be back. Thank you for hosting us.
