Apartment vacation rentals in San Casciano In Val di Pesa

This was a wonderful spot for our short stay in San Casciano. Michele and Maria are wonderful hosts, and were very accomodating with our last-minute booking. The place is great—beatifully renovated, clean (including no cigarette smell!), private, and mostly quiet except sometimes in the late evening when folks are out on the town. We thorougly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again!

Beautiful place to stay if you’re looking for something further out to enjoy a more scenic stay outside the city! Easy enough to get the bus into the city of Florence for the day also so best of both worlds! The decor and design of the place was beautiful also.

Very good stay in San Casciano in Val di Pesa to discover the region. We tested the bus to go to Florence or the tram from the parking lot of Villa Costanza. The apartment is very spacious and well-equipped, the beds are comfortable. Only downside: the parking space reserved for the apartment is inaccessible with a large car, but you can easily find space nearby.

A place that made our vacation truly special! Peaceful and cozy, this charming spot is perfect for a romantic Tuscan experience. The location was ideal—not only for visiting Florence but also for exploring other beautiful towns in the region. The hosts were incredibly kind, always available, and provided helpful and precise information throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and the view helped us feel connected to nature. Getting to the house was a scenic experience in itself—lined with cypress trees, vineyards, and breathtaking sunsets. The surrounding nature is stunning. The garden in front of the house was perfect for relaxing after a full day of sightseeing. In the evenings, we could watch the stars, enjoy the presence of fireflies, and during the day, spot many different butterflies. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Highly recommended! Ideally located accommodation for visiting Florence without having to take your car, which is safe in the private parking lot. Bus stop is 5 mins walk, shuttles are frequent until late evening and in 20 mins you are at Porta Romana. You can also reach Siena in 50 minutes and stop by San Gimignano, which is really worth it. The Chiantigiana is also close. There is an outdoor swimming pool in Tavarnuzze that opens on June 15, so we couldn't test it. Otherwise, Cosimo is a very responsive host, the accommodation is as described, so we will recommend it to those who want to visit Florence and find a peaceful spot in the evening.

We were there at the end of the season. It was very beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. All of the host were awesome!! They were extremely helpful and friendly. The landscaping was immaculate. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!! It felt like home.

5 Stars – A Tuscan Dream Come True! Our stay at Francesco’s private resort-style retreat in the hills of Tuscany was absolutely magical. The location is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect escape into the beauty of the Italian countryside. The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. This place is a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany!

The apartment is part of a house where the owner also lives, with its own independent entrance. Not new but well maintained, spacious, clean and above all cool. Benedetta is very kind and welcoming

Amazingly friendly hosts! So far this was our favorite experience on our vacation! We did the wine tasting followed by cooking class while staying here, I can’t recommend it enough! The air bnb was like nothing I’ve ever seen before, so unique and cute!

We had the most amazing stay at Sibilla's apartment! It is STUNNINGLY decorated and almost makes it feel like you are staying in the Medici Chapel itself. The apartment had everything we needed, and the plant room/ sunroom was glorious to enjoy in the mornings/returning after a day's exploring. We met both Niccolo and Sibilia and both were so friendly and helpful. The area surrounding the apartment is perfect, with central Florence being a 20 minute walk away, and the restaurants/shops/wine bars of Santo Spirito being literally on your doorstep. This is the most enjoyable Air BnB we have ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat! Grazie mille!!

We originally planned to stay at Bryan’s place over the weekend just to explore nearby Florence, but the charm of his home completely stole the show. Florence felt like the cherry on top instead of the other way around. Nestled in a huge, lush garden bursting with hundreds of flowers and all kinds of trees, and staying in a cozy apartment that felt like a little museum, we had such a wonderful, memorable experience that left us feeling truly happy. Bryan was not only super friendly and easy to talk to, but also incredibly welcoming and helpful. Next time we’re in Florence or any nearby town, there’s no question - we’ll be coming back here!

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

Beautiful place in a great location. We enjoyed our stay. There are 6 flights of stairs to get to the place, which was not an issue for us but could be for mobility impaired, however, this was clearly stated in listing.

Luca’s apartment overlooking the piazza was absolutely perfect! There were reviews about it being loud but honestly we were so tired every night from enjoying the beauty of Florence that I didn’t even notice any noise. The location couldn’t have been any better & it was a perfect space for my husband and I. Thank you Luca!!

After another Airbnb mishap, Gianluca was so accommodating to allow to book and check in late last minute. He even met us there personally to be sure we got in okay. He even had the fold out couch ready with linens and provided a few breakfast items. The place was better than we’d hoped, location was fantastic, updated and perfectly clean! We would absolutely stay here again. This place will be one of the highlights of our trip!

We had a wonderful stay. The patio and hot tub were amazing. Walk to everything. No need for a car. Lots of restaurants and attractions close by. Grocery store around the corner. Outdoor hot tub was lovely after a day of steps.

Superb spot close to river. Bed is confortable. Yes, stairs could be a challenge for some only it is clearly stated. At the end of the day, it’s alright!

Martina's place was a great rental in central Florence. Close enough to walk to major landmarks and the central train station. The place has everything you need and more. We were met by Martina and her friendly dog on arrival. She is very friendly and hospitable and took her time to show us her home and give us lots of information on the area and suggestions. I would recommend this rental to everyone!
