My family and I loved our stay at Erin's place. The house was nice and had a big fenced in backyard which was great for our dog. Erin was very responsive and gave clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The area is great and just a few minutes down the street from downtown Matthews. I highly recommend Erin's home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

I would put this Airbnb at the top of my list for locations I’d definitely stay at again. The condo was PRISTINE and has been very well cared for. Even things like baseboards, ceiling fans were free of dust. Those are the places that reveal how well a property is truly maintained and they get an A++ ! I echo the comments of many other reviewers that this was a much better choice than any hotel. Yes, it’s a walk to the 3rd floor, but the stair well is very wide, indoors and carpeted. So it was a very easy, pleasant and stable climb. I felt very safe going to the 3rd floor alone. I don’t have a single critique. If you are thinking of booking, do it! 😉

Very private, safe, and quiet. Could barely hear a thunderstorm which was great as our dog is scared. Rachel's communication is on point. She was very responsive and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

David was amazing from the beginning. We stayed at his place to look at Charlotte as a possibility to move next year. David gave us recommendations and told us about some houses for sale nearby. There was a bottle of wine at perfect temperature for us, he gave us recommendations to eat and even let our dogs stay at the bnb so that we could celebrate my husband’s birthday. Everything was clean and organized. The bed and couch are very comfy and the pool looked to be clean (we didn’t get in). I dont have enough good things to say about our experience. One of the best bnbs we have stayed in a while. Thank you David!

Allison was super responsive about getting back to us when we needed a last minute place for my in laws to stay that was close by, clean and pet friendly during the holiday due to one of my kids having the flu. The place was cozy and easy to find. It is right next to the greenway and a short distance from country park and some shops and restaurants. My elderly in laws had a slight glitch with accessing the correct door code but that was resolved with one quick phone call. Thanks Allison for a wonderful stay!!!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The unit had anything you could possibly need. Was great not having to run to the store to get this or that as they already had everything available. Very clean!

Jennifer is an amazing host. The cottage location is wonderful and has everything you need for a great stay. It was super cozy for my pup and I for a week long stay, and the shared backyard space was lovely and private. I had minor issues with getting the tv to work, and Jennifer was super attentive and responsive in helping me get it to work again. 10/10 would recommend and stay again. Thanks!

Very private and quiet stay in a nice neighborhood. Pretty spacious for a 1 bedroom apartment with nice work desk area. Recommend getting a rental car to get around but, it’s relatively close to downtown Charlotte and shopping malls.

Two stays a week a part, and Jen’s place was perfect for us! Super comfy apartment above the garage, and perfectly described! The pictures don’t do it justice. So cozy, and the animals are the most charming touch. Absolutely recommend if you’re in the area.

We loved the place, wish we could of stayed longer. This place a dream, all the old furniture was so beautiful. My two daughters and 4 grandkids had plenty of room to hang out without stepping on one another. Large bathrooms that were clean and updated. The property was beautiful and the kids loved the swig and creek. Hope to visit again with a longer stay.

This place was an unexpected surprise as to how nice it was. It was perfect for four women going to Merlefest. It was 9 miles away from the festival which was not a big deal for driving back and forth. It was also a welcome get away from the crowds as it is on a mountain with a great view and is pretty remote but not remote enough to be a driving burden. It was exquistely clean. Darren was available within minutes for any questions. The deck was perfect for coffee drinking and visiting in the mornings before facing the crowds. All in all, a great place to stay. The only disadvantage is that the road is kind of rough going up and there are many ruts to avoid. I assume that the neighbors, etal , HOA or whomever will grade the road in the near future.. I know it is hard to maintain a gravel road as we have a lakehouse on a grave road... so I think it will probably be improved soon...

Amazing place to call home while visiting kids at Wake Forest! Walkable to Reynolda Village. Private setting. Beautiful neighborhood. Comfortable bed (and selection of pillows!). Host has thought of everything you might need. Highly recommend! Wish we had found this sooner, now that our Deac has graduated!

Beautiful location and space.

We have not used AirBnB many times, but this one stands out as the best experience yet! What a lovely, clean, tidy, quaint, attractive, simple, elegant, and comfortable lakeside property this is. We enjoyed cooking meals, grilling, soaking in the hot tub, sunset cocktails on the dock. Planning to return in the future for another stay!

The house is amazing. Extremely well equipped. Amazing decks, docks etc. Great gas grill. Amazing lower level with bar and game room. All three bathrooms and showers are really nice, including outdoor shower. 😀 All of the wall hangings and niknacs are very nice and make it feel like a real home and not just a rental. I could go on and on but I only have so much space. Thanks for sharing your fabulous home. It made our sons wedding week very special!

Amazing house, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. Has everything you could possibly need as far as kitchen and bathroom supplies. Beautiful views from throughout the house. Hot tub was well maintained and perfectly placed to enjoy the view. Would most definitely stay here again!

The house was great and the beds were very comfortable. The backyard was peaceful, especially at night with the lights and the hot tub. We had our adult sons with us and we could not hear them moving around and watching TV while we were sleeping, the house is sound proof! I did have to sweep off the back patio furniture when we arrived, it didn't look like that had been done in a while, or it might have just been from a storm - no big deal, the broom was easy to find. The house is older, with a nice mid-century modern vibe - very cozy. I would stay there again.

The house was in a wonderful, more established neighborhood. It was close to the venue we were in town to attend. Even though the pool and hot tub were older, they were in good shape and we really enjoyed them. The kitchen was totally updated and very easy to maneuver. The bedrooms were nice, but the bathrooms were older and could use some updating, especially the one in the master bedroom. The checkout instructions could be updated - it referred to baskets in bedroom closets for used linens, towels, etc., but weren't there. The garbage was to be taken outside and put in a receptacle, but here wasn't one. There was a garbage receptacle in the garage. All in all, I think this would be a great place for anyone looking for a place to stay in Charlotte.

A group of my friends and I stayed here for a weekend. I am from the area originally and the location cannot be beat. It a gorgeous lakefront property and we rented a boat/captain for dinner on Friday to take us down the river to a waterfront restaurant. We heated the pool but ended up using the hot tub instead. The furnishings and house itself are not new or “modern” but it looked exactly as described/and in the photos, and the house is even bigger overall. For the price, this was a great deal. We spent our time hanging out in the kitchen which had enormous windows looking outside, and on the deck, and it was super comfortable for all 11 of us there. Robert was incredibly communicative and always available to answer questions. We wished we could move in! I’d definitely stay there again. Great for large groups.
