The Ol' Cottage @ Davidson

Stay at our lovely cottage located in the heart of Davidson. Walk to all the must-see spots in Davidson, just 5 minutes from downtown and the college. Take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the charming neighborhood. From grocery stores to restaurants, farmers markets, antiquing, beautiful parks and kayaking at the marina, there's something for everyone. The peaceful neighborhood and designated parking spaces make our place the perfect location for exploring Lake Norman, Mooresville and Charlotte.

Beautiful high rock lake front cottage !

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. High rock lake front very secluded area of the lake. Private pier and floating dock. We are on a shallow part of the lake at times if it’s dry enough or damns open out pier can be on the ground. 95% of them time we have good water. There are outside cameras and they are off during your stay, but if it makes you feel more comfortable, we leave the blink module in living room you can unplug during your stay just plug back in when you leave.

Our cottage offers a country setting with all the comforts of home. Open floor plan, well equipped Kit. and full laundry room. Main BR with queen bed & pvt. bath. Twin beds in the 2nd BR. a 2nd full bath is off the hall. Relax on the porch or grill on the deck. WIFI with movie channels. Pets are welcome, see additional info in "The space" Cab. The history of High Rock Lake shines through with Cyprus Garden Waterskis and memorabilia from the last 50 years of ownership mounted within the cabin. Great living space inside and out with two beautiful decks along with a "sand boat" overlooking the lake. A gas fireplace adds "extra cozy" to the family room.
