Our home is on a 4-acre lot on High Rock Lake. The guest space is a fully furnished guesthouse above a detached storage area (15 steps). The bedroom has a king-size bed and TV, the den has a full sofa, recliner, and TV with HD antenna & Netflix - NO CABLE. There is a full kitchen, bath, washer/dryer and walk-in closet. There is a small deck with a table and chairs overlooking the lake. Guests have access to the pier, 2 kayaks, canoe, swing, firepit, grill & gardens. We DO have WiFi.

We were working the cheerwine festival here in Salisbury as it is long hours to work to drive back and forth to where we live. We were looking for a safe place to sleep for the long weekend ahead. This was perfect. Our host was on point ready to help us with whatever we needed and even offered to help with breakfast for our long day ahead she was amazing. It was perfect walking distance from where I work downtown. They have also done a lot of beautiful work to the house. I would definitely rent it again. My only critique would be added curtains to the bedrooms for morning light it’s very bright and a TV. But Susanna is going to be a super host before she knows it. She aims to please! We will be back! And she one of the best host we have ever had!! Good luck girl!

This was a charming, comfortable and convenient place to stay while in Salisbury! Hosts were very helpful and friendly. Very nicely decorated, had all things needed for a very comfortable stay. I loved the neighborhood, mostly very quiet and just cool historic homes.. I very much appreciated that they kept the historic features and charm of the house, while making it modern and accommodating. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Unique building built in the 1900’s but fully updated inside with all the amenities you need. Since it’s older it has its quirks but is comfortable and a great location for historic Salisbury and a couple museums around the area. It’s nice to have a fenced in yard for the pups and also use of the garage which came in handy the morning of checkout since it was raining we were able to keep ourselves dry while loading the car. It’s on a sort of busy street during the day so you do hear some car noise but not a big deal if you’re used to the city. At night didn’t seem bad at all and was able to sleep like a baby on the huge king bed. Thanks again for everything

We were looking for a quiet place outside of Charlotte to relax when we weren’t doing things in uptown & Camper by the Pond was the perfect spot. It was so peaceful. The kids were able to kayak and fish a little each day when we were winding down for the night which they really enjoyed. It was within 10 minutes to a store and some restaurants/fast food which made for an easy last minute meal decision if needed. We had 5 (3/5 were children ages 3-13) in our party and we had plenty of space. If you’re looking for a quiet place to get away, Camper by the Pond is the perfect spot!

great place to stay! we are looking forward to staying in the future. the only downfall was not having our fur babies with us, since it is not pet friendly. Everything else was great, peaceful, super clean, well stocked, extras included kayaks, fishing rods, corn hole boards. . this helped keep our kids entertained and minimized having to leave at all and ultimately led to a relaxing stay and outside of city life.
