Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Saint Lawrence River

It is a very beautiful and peaceful place, I recommend it, and it is very clean which is one of the most important things about a place.

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

I booked this for a late birthday celebration of a loved one. We were in awe of how beautiful it was! The view when you sit down at the dining counter in the morning is breathtaking. I was thinking of ways to actually buy the place lol! There was definitely a feminine touch that i noticed right away: Q-tips, round cotton pads, tampons. It was so thoughtful and refreshing to see something different, i love having q-tips wherever i go. Another thing, i was not prepared to how much kitchen ustensiles, seasonings there were. They really thought about EVERYTHING! flour, sugar, different sizes of skillets, etc… i plan to rebook again and again! It was worth every penny. I honestly wish more airbnb owners were this considerate in their planning. From the multiple games in the living room to the extra blankets in case it gets cold, there was a genuine thought behind it. The place is decorated so beautifully and cozy, got me thinking of moving in the mountains. Thank you so much Alex & Sarah!

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay here while visiting the Charlevoix region! An absolutely gorgeous location with everything provided for an awesome stay! We will definitely book again when next in Baie Saint-Paul and La Malbaie! Merci et à la prochaine!

Everything is just as pictured - and so much more once you check in! The end of the season did not disappoint - the waters were calm in the morning for a canoe paddle; the loons visited and were a joy to listen to; the weather was perfect for a campfire and the views were spectacular. The house is stocked with high-end amenities, everything you'd want to find and a few that you didn't even know you needed! Looking forward to returning next summer!

An awesome place to relax and get away from it all. We were 4 people and it was the perfect size. I think it would be a tight squeeze with more than that. Place was clean and very welcoming. I wish we could have spent longer there in nice weather to enjoy all the amenities that it had to offer. Merci, Richard.

Superb as a home just big enough, I thought the home was more physically separate than that from the main house, a little less private despite the host's great discretion

We loved our stay at Julie's! Our pooches had the best time. They were the happiest to be in nature and interact with the other animals. We also had a great time unwinding and connecting with nature. Hoping we can come back soon.

What a beautiful place and what a welcome from Renée! Accommodation located right on the riverfront with outdoor amenities to enjoy (campfire, swing). And of course a magnificent view of the Charlevoix mountains. Very clean, welcoming and comfortable accommodation. Everything was there! The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. We loved it! We'll definitely go back! Thank you Renée for hosting us!

What a lovely location. The large outdoor deck with chairs is an excellent space to hang out with great views (there was an umbrella we did not use it). Watched the sunset over the St. Lawrence by the “beach” and hung out on the swing seat. Would definitely stay again if we ever pass by that way.

Finally, a place that made Air BnB feel worth it again. If you’re even considering this place, just book it. The location is incredible. The listing photos don’t do it justice. The moment you start to walk down the path and hear the peaceful sound of the river and see the beautiful setting, you know this place is a gem. You’re totally immersed in the woodland setting. Sitting outside on the deck every morning enjoying a coffee and reading just set the tone for a great day. The stress of every day is gone. Stacey was the perfect host. She actually cared about providing a great experience. She provided those little touches that are what this app was supposed to be about. Every host should be taking notes from Stacey. Incredible cabin and wonderful hosts. The location is perfect with lots of local hikes and plenty to do! Sadly we had our plans rained out but the space was so beautiful we quite enjoyed our time being spent almost entirely indoors. Gorgeous and intimate space.

Very nice weekend in this little rustic cottage, everything was present as described. It's super quiet, easy to cook. The small outdoor shower is convenient although cold at this time but you should expect it. I suggest a curtain or a canvas for the large window in front of the beds, simply because it is currently very bright in the morning! Also, don't forget your mosquito repellent and coils depending on the season, we had few mosquitoes on the hike and outside but they seemed to want to enter the cabin at all costs, and in large groups. We used tactics. Maybe the door could be better sealed! We highly recommend the place for the calm, the cleanliness, the lack of network that does you good!

I would love to highlight the special attention to detail that Emilie has. The site and info about the House and surrounding areas is very beautiful and helpful for people who do not know the area. The house is a little Gem and the Sauna is the icing on the cake :)

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Georgetown. Communication with Sarah was excellent as she was friendly, responsive, and made check in and check out super easy. The place was easy to find yet felt completely private and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature. The cabin itself was spotless and cozy with everything we needed. You can tell a lot of care went into the space as it was well stocked, comfortable, and felt like a true retreat. One of our favorite parts was the seating area by the lake where we spent hours just relaxing and taking in the view. The nearby nature trails were stunning and easy to access, and Sarah’s local recommendations made the experience even better. We genuinely wish we had stayed longer and are already looking forward to coming back. It was the perfect escape and we highly recommend it to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy Maine’s natural beauty.

I really liked the chalet and the host's welcome. Small wood prepared in the fireplace, extremely clean place. Beautiful view of the mountain. Things to do nearby. I would recommend it and will definitely come back. Thank you Mathieu for the quick response and especially your pro-activity for my reservation… very last minute.

Julie’s cabin was incredible. The space was peaceful, super clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The backyard especially was amazing—spacious, quiet, and perfect for hanging out. Easily one of the best trips we’ve ever had, and staying here made it even better. Would 100% come back.
