Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Saint James

Stephanies ranch home was beautiful and we loved getting to pet their horses. We will be back in the warmer months to take advantage of the parks and river floating.

Huzzah hideout was an amazing place to stay for our extended family float trip. The space itself was clean and well stocked. The hosts thought if all the extras to really make our stay special. The location was fantastic. The kids LOVED being able to walk right down to the huzzah from the house. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and were grateful to find a nice place that accepted pets. The home was clean and well taken care of. Lots of attention to detail in the finishes and decor. The host communicated well and we would be happy to stay here again!

Our camping plans got rained out so we had to pivot and find somewhere to stay last minute. This place happened to be available… we booked and we arrived an hour later. This home is clean and situated on a nice property not too far off the highway. We were very pleased with the obvious intention that went into making this home cozy and comfortable . I probably said “I could live here” at least 10 times. The hosts are gracious and kind and I would highly recommend this place as a lovely little getaway spot.

I chose to stay here due to the location, and the amount of room for our group. I don't think I could have found a better location. Eden House is 15 minutes from Fort Leonard Wood, and 15-20 from other shopping/dining areas. The house has plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and there is a very nice big yard. When traveling, I always judge a place on the hot water, can I cook a full meal for my entire family (there are 7 of us!), and can we have a little space when a teenager has attitude? This place fit the bill!! There are 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. There is a living room upstairs and another small living room downstairs. The water was hot!! Thank you! No one ran out of hot water. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals (food not included). The back patio was fun to just sit and watch the animals, the kids all had a bench press contest in the weight room, and my husband was able to take a run each day. We would stay again!

This is our third stay, and we will return. The property is beautiful and peaceful, and lots of room for our dogs to run (and swim!). We love birdwatching and feeding the fish and turtles in the pond. We had a lot of rain this time around, but the place was well-stocked with games and puzzles. The furniture is very comfortable and love the new beds in the second bedroom.

Great home away from home. Everything was as described, very peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. A couple of deer walked around the yard while I was on the back deck. I would definitely stay again if in the area

Absolutely great place to stay. It’s quiet and peaceful which makes it a great place to get away. It’s very spacious and enjoyable. The hosts were great with communication and even sent driving instructions for different routes.

This place was very nice and comfortable for our out of town guests. They highly complimented the place and said it was very nice for their time here.

My family gathered for my great-nephew’s college graduation. We were very comfortable in our apartment and appreciated the cleanliness and peacefulness it provided. I will book here again!

Very friendly and helpful host. Had I needed anything I am certain Genevieve would have accommodated. The place was great with all that was necessary for a great stay It was due to Genevieve’s hard work and efforts ahead of my stay I never needed her assistance.

This place was wonderful! Very peaceful in a nice area. Property was very clean and thought out. Host did a great job of suppling amenities. We even caught some fish from their pond!! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, but still close enough to see the local attractions.

An absolutely wonderful and perfect place for us while attending the Folky Fish Festival at Maramec Springs park. The outdoor space is fantastic with fire pit/grill/chairs. Loved sitting on the front porch every morning drinking coffee and listening to the birds. Highly recommend.

This was my first time using an Airbnb so I really didn’t know what to expect. The property was as described; a very peaceful, remote location. This provided a quiet, serene setting while also being not too far from Jefferson City (about half an hour). We were in the area for a graduation at Mizzou in Columbia. It was only about a one hour drive, and very manageable. Jan reached out to us after arrival to be sure everything was ok and asked if we needed anything. There was nothing lacking and we enjoyed our time at the cabin.

We loved our stay in the cabin - very peaceful and comfortable and well-equipped. Word of warning that the kitchen has plenty of utensils, dishes, etc, but is missing a few items we hoped for - cooking oil and a big pasta pot, for example. We figured things out and didn’t consider it a huge drawback, but thought it would be useful for people to know when they’re grocery shopping! We loved having the fire pit for some camping-style dinners.

If you have a son or daughter graduating from Fort Leonard Wood, this is the perfect place. Not only is it super fast to get to the fort but is a great place to get them away from the fort and have a cookout and spend family day. Aaron is a wonderful host, responsive and most of all the cabin is as advertised. Great place.

Our stay was great. Everything was just as described. Jessica was very responsive to all of our questions during our stay. The cabin was very clean well stocked and the property was beautiful. We can’t wait until our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay! It was private enough for some much needed rest time and close enough to things (parks, wineries, restaurants) to ensure we were never bored. The host was super responsive and checked on us often (but unobtrusively). Had a lovely and relaxing time.
