Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saffron Walden

Our family of 7 stayed here for one night while we visited the Warner Brothers tour. The house was staged perfectly to get families excited for Harry Potter. The house was full of Harry Potter decor, linens, costumes, knick knacks, and games. We all loved it. the backyard had a great space for hanging out as well. The parking space in the backyard is greatly appreciated. We were able to fit our Mercedes v series 300D in it and that was such a relief to not have to find street parking.

A very good stay, and the best bit is the garden - it was actually much better than expected. The whole place was very calming. The owner was also super helpful about an unexpected change of dates.

This property was absolutely stunning. A perfect location for a relaxing group get away. We had so much fun and enjoyed relaxing in the very spacious garden. Olly and Mirek are fantastic hosts and we would definitely recommend this place!

Accommodation actually bigger than I thought...easy parking and shops close by if you don't have a car

What a beautiful house! A group of 6 of us had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the house, and we loved the decor. The location is only a half-hour walk from central Cambridge. Just be careful on the stairs as they are quite steep and the floorboard is slightly slippery!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy English cottage! From the moment we arrived, Sarah made us feel so welcome. She truly went above and beyond—every little extra she left in the home made our stay feel special and thoughtful. The cottage itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, filled with authentic British charm that made it peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay. It had everything we needed and more—every amenity was thoughtfully provided. The location couldn’t have been more perfect: just a short walk to the main area of town and right across the street from the railroad station, which made getting around so convenient. This was the perfect countryside escape, and we’re so grateful for Sarah’s hospitality. We can’t wait to return!

I booked Maxines place with 7 of my friends for our friends Hen weekend. From very first booking Maxines beautiful home, Maxine was a fantastic host. Very quick responses and very friendly and polite. Maxine allowed us earlier check in so we could decorate with a balloon arch and some Hen party decorations in time for our bride to be to arrive. That was extremely helpful for us. From arriving and Maxine meeting us at her beautiful home to hand over the keys for the weekend and show us around with the instructions, everything was perfect. Maxine is extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. Now to the incredible airbnb in general. Maxines home is absolutely incredible. The way its decorated, the cleanliness, the homely feel, the space, literally everything about it was just beautiful! The garden area is just stunning, with the great touch of a hot tub! Some of our girls loved having a little relaxation in the tub in the afternoon sun. Would recommend Maxine and her home to all!

Savio's apartment is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated which is equipped with the household essentials I need. It is located in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood and local shops and supermarket are just across the road. Savio is friendly, considerate and responsive host, who ensures I feel at home. Our communication is clear and smooth. I really enjoy my stay and would recommend this place without hesitation.

Cannot fault these lodges or michelle as a host. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and the lodges definitely have that added feel of luxury. Will 100% be returning. Thank you apple tree lodges for a perfect break. Beautiful lodges in a beautiful location.

Very new, lovely quiet apartment block with private secured parking. Ideal for Stansted Airport and right next to Harlow train station. Good price if you are splitting it 5 ways which we did. Only downside would be that it sleeps 6 but only seating for 4 at dining table and 4 at a push on sofa.

Sai’s place is great. It’s comfortable, cosy, with everything you need for a good stay. It’s nice and quiet there, but nevertheless it’s brilliantly located close to local shops, restaurants and buses that will easily get you to the tube, or to Watford. It’s no problem to get to central London or to the Warner Bros Harry Potter experience. Sai’s a great host. Responsive, helpful and honest. He was really quick to ensure he returned items that we mistakenly left in the property when we left. This is the third time we’ve stayed there and we’d do do again in a heartbeat.

The “Cowshed “was perfect for our stay. Situated in the grounds of a beautiful old farmhouse with a majestic in and out drive. The pub across the road does amazing food with excellent sevice.(try the pie for 2 😋) Jacky was a friendly and attentive host. Would definitely stay there again next time I’m in the area. We had a great stay, the accommodation was excellent and perfect for us and 2 dogs, the totally enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs and quite a lovely sun trap. Would of liked a shower that you could stand under instead of a hand held showerhead and the water wasn't hot in the morning. A very easy footpath right next to the accommodation, which was a 1.5miles round walk, again great for dogs. All the facilities and utensils are plentiful and clean. Highly recommend
