Lovely airbnb. Very small and cute. Sofa bed was easy to pull out and comfy. Close to town. For a cute place for three friends to have a short break it was ideal.

We had a quick but lovely stay. The house is super cute and cozy and well located. Karen and her family were very friendly and made us feel at home. We are definitely coming back next year.

It was an amazing stay for our little family of 3, Perdee was very responsive, friendly and flexible with letting us check in early and check out later. The location is beautiful and the scenery is something else. If you enjoy a peaceful stay and are a fan of animals this is a must stay! Can’t thank Perdee enough for the hospitality.

We were recommended Sprotts Farm by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. A great feel at home place to stay, set amongst the most beautiful wooded countryside. Everything was as described and we’ll certainly be back for a return visit 😊 Leo, our pampered pooch certainly enjoyed exploring the grounds and the woods were definitely a bonus. Perfect getaway to unwind and recharge.

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

We loved our 2 night stay at Black Squirrel Barn. The location is beautiful and peaceful with 2 lovely country pubs within walking distance. It was the perfect base for our family of five to attend a wedding in Hitchin. The barn is very homely and comfortable and was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We particularly appreciated the vegan options kindly provided for breakfast. We made use of the private patio and pagoda and also enjoyed the stunning shared gardens filled with wildlife (the black squirrel was a special treat) and the tennis court. Niki was a warm and welcoming host and very responsive to messages. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.

Peaceful stay at this lovely very large house. Kids were well catered for with the games room and big garden with swings. Everything with spotless and Catherine was so helpful. We loved it

We had a lovely time in this beautifully presented property. Great living spaces, well equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms, and a good bathroom. The location was very peaceful, and at the same time there is a lovely pub just opposite. Altogether a great experience, highly recommended.

A great stay at the village annex. Paul and Carla were lovely, very chilled and very helpful. A perfect great village location if you need a stop over before or after Stansted Airport or want to explore the local area. Everyone in the village pubs and shops were very friendly too. Would definitely stay again. Carla and Paul were kind enough to let us bring our little cat for Tuesday too which was perfect. Thanks loads Paul and Carla, a lovely short stay.

The garden studio is a perfect spot for exploring Saffron Walden. My wife and I had a wedding in the local area and the studio was perfect - has everything you need for a short stay and off road parking which is very handy!

Thanks Camilla. We loved staying in your beautiful flat surrounded by wonderful countryside and animals It was a treat to come home to after a long day touring the villages and towns in the glorious countryside, particularly Nayland. The area was new to us, and was just what we were looking for.

We had a lovely stay at the strawberry box. The peace and tranquility was a real tonic. It’s such a beautiful place and morning walks were gorgeous around the farm. The weather was amazing too! It’s a great location as a base for exploring. We took trips to Orford and Sutton Hoo, but you can pretty much get to anywhere else in Suffolk within an hour. Highly recommended.

Absolutely lovely little cottage, everything was exactly how it was described a perfect little couple’s retreat in a beautiful little village. George was a wonderful host and only a message away for any questions you might have and the breakfast hamper was a lovely little 10/10 touch.
