Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Sacramento River

We had so much fun! This is such a good area and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our friends wedding. A reminder that this is a ~cabin~ in nature; if you’re not into that, maybe take a pass!

Stayed in a 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. Great stay, great accommodations. Stayed here for a few months while I was in town for work. Area was gated and safe. Joyce and Erica her manager were excellent hosts, was always able to get ahold of her if I needed something, and very easy to work with. Don’t have anything to complain about. And I would totally stay here again if the I am ever in the Chico area again. And would totally recommend this property to anyone. much safer and better then a hotel.

Top Story is top-notch. Really well equipped kitchen with thoughtful extras like a Keurig coffee machine and pods and compostable plastic ziplocks for your picnic lunches. Comfortable beds. Fine wi-fi. Well-stocked bathroom (although the shower is a bit small). Nice design sense. The little touches like home-made baked goods and a welcome basket are definitely a plus. Wendy was both very pleasant and responsive. Would definitely chose Top Story for a Loyalton stay.

Really cool space in downtown Sacramento great location. Ibrahim was a great host and would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. I plan on returning

Diane’s place is a lovely studio perfect for a long term stay. Well equipped with everything you need. Diane was very responsive and accommodating.

Elise’s place is such a great spot. Perfect for a small family or a couple of friends looking to enjoy the charm of the foothills. Located right in downtown Jackson, it’s within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. It’s also a short drive to nearby wineries and fun day adventures like Kennedy Mines, rail cars, Black Chasm Cavern, and Indian Grinding Rock Historic Park. The home is cozy and relaxing, a perfect place to unwind after exploring. Elise made check-in and check-out super easy, and the thoughtful touches like snacks, coffee, and local books on the area were much appreciated. A wonderful and reasonably priced stay and highly recommend to anyone visiting.

My husband and I had stayed at Cynthia's place several times before and always had a great experience. As I was traveling to the area by myself for the first time, I was happy to see that her place was available for the dates I needed for my grandson's high school graduation party. Cynthia is a great communicator both before and during the stay. This has always been may experience with her. I feel like she is an old friend now. I appreciate the snacks and well stocked coffee/tea station. My little dog and I had a great stay. Thank you, Cynthia! I will definitely be back!

Apartment was fantastic. Enjoyed walking to the local brewery. We then had a family grill in the quiet backyard - its a really comfy setup.

We loved staying here, it’s a house full of charm and well kept up! It’s very walkable to downtown. We would definitely stay here again!

This was maybe one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at - clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious. Host was very communicative. Suited our needs perfectly.

What a wonderful Airbnb! We were in town for our daughter’s graduation and the place could not have been more perfect for our family. We had a mixture of grandparents and younger tweens who all felt right at home. The backyard and pool were the main attraction, as we spent most of our time outside. The owners just renovated the pool area so we were very lucky. We played shuffleboard inside, horse shoes and used the jacuzzi as well. We hosted a bbq for the grad party and the bbq worked great for a large group. No issues at all. There is tons of parking which was appreciated as well. We wish we had another kid going to Chico state just so we could stay here again! Thank you Sara Rose for answering all of our questions and being such a great host.

Safe, secluded, peaceful and quiet. Totally adequate space for one person. Nice simple layout that’s comfy when away from home for a few weeks. Responsive host and property manager. Clean place, beautiful neighborhood.

Amazing location, super rustic charm, great art inside, and the chickens and cat visits were a definite plus! Petra’s place is around the corner from Pour Girls Coffee, super well located to go to Humboldt, and rustic charm all around.

Great home in a very private setting with nice views. House is in great shape and has all the amenities listed. Host provides lots of great recommendations and is very responsive. Would definitely rent this place again. Highly recommend!!

The place was clean and well stocked. We had a great time BBQing one night and enjoyed the hot tub. It is close to wineries and other attractions. The host was very communicative and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. Definitely recommend this home for stay if you are visiting Santa Rosa.
