Apartment vacation rentals in Sacramento River

I’m a repeat customer and hopefully will return again in December. I don’t want to stay anywhere else.

One of the best Airbnb places I've stayed. Doris was very responsive to anything I needed and she and her husband were both very friendly and helpful. This property sets next to a field with horses and beautiful woodlands and green meadows. Very quiet & private, but very close to major urban areas with entertainment and restaurants. I went to this little oasis for a personal yoga and meditation retreat I put together. It was perfect. The generosity of the hosts in stocking the refrigerator and kitchen with special food & drink items was above and beyond. I felt pampered. I will return for sure.

A gem of a space, spent 6 relaxing days enjoying the sound of waves, the wind and watching Karl move in and out. Thank you Yeshi for being an amazing host and human being 🙏

We loved our stay at Jan’s place in Berkeley. The space was great for our trip. We absolutely loved the deck and hot-tub. We spent most evenings sitting out there for hours! You also can’t beat the views of the bay! Overall, such a wonderful stay, we would for sure go back and recommend to all our friends and family.

Thank you Russell for a smooth process of checking in and out. We had a great stay and appreciated the convenient location of the apartment.

This was our third time staying here. It is a clean and comfortable space with attractive furnishings and everything we needed for a two-week stay. We will return again next time we return to CA to visit family.

During a 10-day road trip, we spent 3 nights in Darlene’s wonderful rental unit in Redding. She is an excellent host who made us feel very welcome. The rental unit is great, and has everything needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay, including cookware, dishes, coffeemaker, etc., and the bed is extremely comfortable. Darlene is very communicative, and responds quickly to inquiries. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and look forward to a return visit!

our stay was amazing and it was the perfect little home away from home. not very lounge worthy but it's definitely a cozy little place if your active and going outside adventuring all day. but if your a home body and wanna relax the couch and bed weren't the most comfortable but we overall very much enjoyed our stay as we were exploring beautiful sacramento and coming home to our cozy Lil spot overall I'd give it a 4.5/5 very responsive and helped with anything we needed. would definitely stay again

Wonderful stay! Probably the best AirBnB experience I’ve ever had! I loved all of the instructions. The place was homey and very clean! There were a lot of little treats and snacks that made us feel very welcome. Thank you for your hospitality!

Top Story is top-notch. Really well equipped kitchen with thoughtful extras like a Keurig coffee machine and pods and compostable plastic ziplocks for your picnic lunches. Comfortable beds. Fine wi-fi. Well-stocked bathroom (although the shower is a bit small). Nice design sense. The little touches like home-made baked goods and a welcome basket are definitely a plus. Wendy was both very pleasant and responsive. Would definitely chose Top Story for a Loyalton stay.

Very clean, welcoming place. Alexander’s apartment was very comfortable for 3 adults, with well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Alexander answered my questions super promptly, he is a great host. We highly recommend his place.

Adorable place with a stunning view. So relaxing. Bed was super comfy. The deck was the most perfect place to sit and relax, listen to the ocean. I want to spend every weekend here! So worth it. One of my favorite stays so far for sure.

We stay in the welcoming arms of Linda's "Green Queen" whenever we are in the Bay Area...or I should say, whenever it is available because it is so very popular; deservedly so since it is the best, most comfortable, most beautifully appointed vacation rental we have ever experienced over many years of travels and rentals. I have taken to checking her calendar and scheduling trips around those dates to ensure it's availability and our total comfort, pleasure, and convenience. We can't thank you enough, Linda, for creating such an amazing home away from home.

Very nice spot. Steve was proactive and responsive. Neighborhood felt extremely safe and was beautiful to walk around. It is a basement apartment so we would occasionally hear people moving around the upstairs but was never too loud or too early/late to bother us, just something to know if you’re sensitive to sound. Kitchen was very well equipped. Entire place was cozy and very central. Overall would definitely stay again, we loved the place!

The absolute perfect stay in Napa! The space was clean, cozy, and quiet but still so close and walkable to many restaurants and things to do! Scott & Rebecca were very responsive and sent the most robust list of recommendations I’ve ever received from a host- complete with descriptions and walking distance from the Airbnb! We tried out so many of them and loved them all! The location is the perfect combination of being close enough to the action but still relaxing and quiet! Can’t imagine there’s a better stay in the area!

Amazing stay! My husband and I stayed with our 1 yr old. It was the perfect space and we spent so much of our time in the beautiful backyard! Mark was easy to work with and quick to respond. We walked to the downtown area at least daily with so many cafes and restaurants to try out!! Plus grocery and pharmacy just a couple minute walk as well. Would happily visit again

We really enjoyed our stay in Tahoe City. Our accommodations felt like a home away from home, so we were able to enjoy some family time away. It felt safe and secure. The kids found the games late during our stay, and want to come back to enjoy them and the home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roseann's place. Perfect instructions as to how to enter. The home was clean and comfortable. We were very thankful for the coffee and the coffee pot :) Great view of the golf course. A lovely place for a quiet get away!

Another great stay at Stew's place. I highly recommend. It is off a busy highway, but you wouldn't know it because it is secluded down below the businesses and is very private and quiet. Everything was very clean and lots to do with movies and games for the kids. The hot tub was so nice. It was very cool in the morning so that is a great way to warm up under the canopy of pine trees that surround the back deck. Definitely will be back for another stay.

This was one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve stayed in. Peggy was great & her unit, though small, was uncluttered , very comfortable & very well stocked. The crowning feature was the lovely, peaceful & cool backyard. Our 4 year old granddaughter lived visiting

Penny’s place is truly a hidden gem—a peaceful escape from reality. My husband and I both work, go to school, and juggle raising kids, so we were long overdue for a quiet getaway to reconnect. Sanctuary in the Pines was exactly what we needed. It’s calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature—perfect for slowing down and just enjoying each other’s company. You really can't describe the experience fully in words... you just have to go and feel it for yourself. Penny is hands down the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly sweet and thoughtful, and always responds quickly if you need anything. Her warmth made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. If you're looking for a place to relax, recharge, and reconnect, this is it. One tip: don’t make the same mistake we did by arriving late at night—come during the day so you can enjoy the gorgeous drive in and take in the views. Thank you, Penny, for such a special and unforgettable stay!

I’ve stayed in several Airbnbs and Micks place is one of my favorites. Central, easy location and right around the corner, practically, is a fabulous bakery with gluten free choices!!!! The unit was clean and well equipped. The washer and dryer worked perfectly. I high recommend this unit. It’s certainly worth the very fair price.

Fantastic stay! Great spot right next to the lake, and the friendliest hosts imaginable. Paddleboards, kayaks, hot tub, what more can you ask for? Not to mention the bike lane is right behind the house and goes all the way from Tahoe city to Meek’s bay!
