Please relax with your family and friends in a good old Japanese private house while watching the Japanese garden handled by a famous Kyoto gardener. We have four single futons and one double futon, so you can stay up to 6 people. There is also an artificial lawn garden, and pets can stay, so please use it for trips with your dog. The nearest station, Keihaka Otani Station, is a 7-minute walk, and JR Otsu Station is a 5-minute drive. There are two delicious and famous long-established eel shops near the nearest Otani Station. It is less than a 10-minute walk from Keihan Otani Station to the inn, but it is a bit of an uphill walk, so if you have a lot of luggage at check-in or don't like walking, we recommend taking a taxi from JR Otsu Station or coming by car. Free parking is available right in front of the inn.Parking is available for 2 vehicles, so it is convenient for 2 groups.

YAMANOTE HOUSE is accessible from major Kansai stations with 37min from Kyoto Sta. or 65min from Osaka Sta. If you come by car from Kyoto it takes less than 1 hour. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
