We had a fantastic stay at Maana Kamo in Kyoto. The home is beautifully designed and spotlessly cleaned. We loved the bath overlooking the small private garden. The location was close to the station and other major attractions.

The place feels like home being spacious and has a smell of wood which very comfortable.

A very warm, very clean and comfortable B&B. From the initial contact to the reception, the four-day process to the final checkout, the Yumi house owner made us very touched.Recommended, we will also immediately arrange to stay again with the next trip we want to book. This time, because I was with three small children, three, five, and eight years old, there was a lot of luggage. I was grateful that clothes could be washed and dried quickly every day and worn again the next day, which greatly reduced the amount of luggage.Because I need to make milk and drink a lot of water, Space goen also provides unlimited good quality drinking water (ice, room temperature, hot water). I am really grateful. The mattress is moderately soft and comfortable, and the quilt is also very comfortable. Many details show the owner's care. There are convenience stores and fruit shops right outside the homestay, and there are plenty of restaurants within a five-minute walk. Tennoji Station is less than ten minutes away, which can lead to Kobe, Osaka, and the Shinkansen. The reasons for the recommendation are as follows: 1. It was a great stay with no inconvenience, with facilities and equipment that were as good as or better than the photos! Even if there was a malfunction with the equipment, they responded and handled it immediately. A place where just being there is a journey, even if you don't do anything.I will definitely be back!!! From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enamored by this place. Kozo and the rest of the team were so welcoming and hospitable— walking us through every detail, providing recommendations, and take the time to learn about our travel needs. They provided more amenities than I have ever experienced at an Airbnb (skincare products, delicious snacks, and more). I could not have dreamed of a more picturesque place to spend my time in Kyoto. The neighborhood is quiet, local, with several good food options nearby and a stunning shrine just minutes walk away. It felt like we had warped back in time. We actually teared up as we closed the door to move onto our next destination.

This is an incredible boutique accommodation with beautiful decor and a generous stock of snacks. It is a rare gem where the space itself is something to be enjoyed rather than just a place to sleep for the night. The staircase to the second floor is quite steep, which may be challenging for guests with large luggage or mobility concerns. One of the highlights is the brand-new system bath, ideal for those who want to enjoy a relaxing ofuro experience in private. Since the building is located right next to the train tracks, you likely will not need an alarm clock. Some rooms include blackout covers, which are helpful for guests who prefer not to wake up with the early sunrise that begins around 4 a.m. in the summer. Overall, 後藤's place exceeded every expectation.

This lovely lady is amazing and if I could giver her and her place more than 5 stars I would give 100 stars. Because not only is the place exactly what was described and lovely, but the lovely lady was so so so helpful. Helping us get on the correct public transport to get there and helping us get to see the things we wanted to see. She is amazingly helpful! 1000% would recommend staying here!

It was a trip with an active 0-year-old (8 months).The room was simple, so I had a comfortable stay without worrying about getting hurt. It was my first time staying in Fukushima, which has a downtown feel, but there are many restaurants in front of the station, and it was a fun trip in a bustling area! Thank you! We had a wonderful stay with Kuniko. She is a very kind and helpful host, and we loved meeting her Labrador. The room is well appointed and very comfortable. The breakfasts she prepared each morning were delicious. The location is close to a station and several playgrounds within walking distance. Thank you, Kuniko!

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

Second time I've come to this Airbnb. I liked it so much during my first solo stay that for me it was a mandatory step for the trip where I introduce Japan to my mother. It was once again incredible. Ichie san was very kind, helped us a lot and cooked very well. I highly recommend it, this Airbnb is a real treasure, whether human, advice, discussion or memories. The bedroom and futons are very nice and comfortable.

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Close to Fukushima station, close to luggage delivery office (open only Saturday /Sunday). Room was clean, bathroom was spotless. Laundry powder, vacuum cleaner, washing machine was provided. Would stay here again.

Sakamotoya Muji Room was a great place to stay. Dinner set was very good. The place is beautiful with great view and the bedroom was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Mr Sakamoto was very friendly and helpful and was there to guide us all the time. He also picked us up from the station and brought us to different restaurants. He took extra care of us. Yoshinoyama is a beautiful place. I think we were there slightly off season so the place was peaceful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. Great for small hikes, visiting temples and enjoying nature. Great stay. We plan to come back during sakura season.

The first time I came to Japan with friends, this accommodation experience was very comfortable. The room was clean and tidy, satisfying our imagination of a Japanese homestay. There were also convenience stores and public bus stops nearby. Life and transportation were very convenient. The host was also very friendly. There was also a delicious breakfast every morning. If I come to Kyoto next time, I will definitely choose this place again without hesitation.

Best Airbnb! we stayed at their 200 yeas old farmhouse with wonderful rooms, a terrace and surroundings. Very cozy big house. We have had a BBQ dinner together with the hosts and they also served us breakfast. it was super great to stay there.

I was really grateful that you picked me up until late, and for the welcome tea, breakfast, and onigiri that I could eat on the plane. It was so delicious. I didn't think I'd experience a homely Airbnb in Japan, but I think I brought warmth from my trip. I should have left a review right away, but I'm sorry I couldn't, and I hope you're happy with your puppy. I'll visit again if I go to Osaka:)

I haven’t been to an such amazing place in a long time. Kazumasa and Hiroko are one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The location is breathtaking which invited you to stay more than just a few days. I only stayed 2 nights and wished I had more time. Hiroko gave me some really nice recommendations where I should go and what to do. The breakfast was also super delicious and plenty. Mabulin the dog will welcome you with his playfulness and cheeky character. If I happen to be back in this area I definitely will stay with them again. Thank you

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

I enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff, very clean room, convenient to bus and subway stops. Also a short walk to the busy shopping street. Breakfast there was a bonus. Very delicious!
