The apartment is totally charming - has an incredible view over their garden, full of birds, and of the beach cove down the street. Watching the sunset from the cozy sofa window or on the rooftop deck has been my favorite parts of my stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with food and treats when I arrived, and Denise and David have just been the kindest next door hosts, very friendly and so generous. The bedroom and bath are spacious and the apartment has plenty of sunlight. Jamestown is beautiful and peaceful, walking around to the parks and beaches from the apartment is easy, scenic and pleasant. I highly recommend and encourage people to visit and enjoy!

Quiet, cozy, and perfect for our weekend getaway.

Stayed at Island Girl’s Bnb for a few days and had a wonderfully relaxing time. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. We felt like we were immediate neighbors- would gladly stay here again!

The location is amazing. The hospitality is best in class. The photos don’t do the place justice. It’s better in every way than our high hopes. Bring walking shoes and a camera. Absolutely superb!

This is a beautiful home, and you can't beat the price to be so close to the beach and to Newport. My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer and see all of the suggestions that the hosts gave us.

I had a most enjoyable 1 week stay in David and Denise’s treetop home. The space is clean, comfortable, quaint and cozy. There were plenty of snacks and a lovely bottle of wine awaiting me upon arrival. The freestanding gas fireplace was a Godsend for this cool February week. Plenty of towels were provided along with toiletries and too many special touches to mention. The location is central to all Jamestown has to offer! I will certainly return on my next trip to the island.

Great location, well kept and very clean property in central Newport. Easy walking to the main shops and restaurants. We had no trouble parking right outside. Very quiet neighbourhood. Basic but very clean with everything you needed. Very comfortable beds. The stairs are steep but not an issue. Kim responded quickly to all queries and was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful space with amazing photographs and artwork, welcoming owner, magnificent flowers, charming, safe, historic neighborhood. 2 1/2 blocks to great coffee and breakfast, One half mile to the entertainment of the wharf and one mile to swim at an expansive beach and just a tad further to an even better beach and wildlife conservatory and breathtaking sunset! We “loved” the stairwell and comfortable beds we found at the top! Kim communicated quickly and clearly. No bumps to report! Grateful to have found this gem!

Brian is a very hospitable and kind host, the unit is located in a very nice neighborhood and good for exploring the neighborhood and walking toward t to the Cliff Walk (0.7. miles away), a good amount of space, and some old furniture and interesting stove to use. Overall a nice relaxing home to stay for a weekend and enjoyed spending time there. Thanks Brian.

Smack in the middle of everything. The wharfs, Broadway and Spring streets, and plenty of other attractions are so close. The space is clean, and the Netflix actually worked!

Jim’s place is so centrally located. Right next store is an amazing tavern that has great food and lots of bars around. We also took Jim’s recommendation of seeing The Breakers, Newport Vineyards, and Midtown Oyster Bar. All of his recommendations were spot on! The apartment was extremely clean and well decorated. Jim even left us a bottle of wine. 10/10 stay!

Tyler's place was perfect for our time in town. It was comfortable and quite spacious. The space was clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay including extra blankets and pillows. We had to check-in early so that we could get ready for a wedding and Tyler graciously accommodated our request. He was very quick to respond to all our questions/needs and I'd would highly recommend his place if you're in the Newport area.

Quaint bed and breakfast in perfect walking distance of everything you could want to see in Newport!

Our stay was cozy and comfortable. We were in town for less than 24 hours but thankfully we had a comfy bed to rest in. Given our quick turn around, the easy check in and out process was ideal. The room and entire house was decorated to make it feel like home and even with other guests, it was a quick place to rest. Homemade cookies and coffee upon arrival was an extra treat. We’ve stayed in many different places in Newport and this is first on my list of places to book again!

We had an amazing time in Newport in part due to this amazing bed and breakfast. The room was small and cozy but we already knew that from pictures and reviews and had no issues with it. The bed was s comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. The shower is a bit tight but great water pressure. The provided breakfast was delicious and we ate there every morning. The guide had excellent recommendations for restaurants. It was super convenient that we could buy tickets at the concierge for the mansion tours so we didn’t have to waste time buying tickets. Would definitely come back!

JoAnne’s home is in a phenomenal location, and has everything one could need for a few days, from a Keurig, to a microwave and a fridge, among plenty of other amenities. Everything felt clean and cozy, and our hosts were friendly as well. It is a mere 1 minute walk from the nearest restaurant, 5 minutes from the nearby shopping strip, and about 10 minutes from the Cliff Walk which was beautiful. Also parking was free and easily accessible. I would happily stay here again

Excellent accommodation!

This room is an excellent fit for anyone hoping to visit Newport. It’s minutes away from every attraction Newport has to offer! Located on a quiet street, you’ll have no problem finding parking and ease of entry to the room is a plus. Excellent amenities are provided for you that replace a continental breakfast you’d find at a hotel. The room itself is extremely comfortable and I enjoyed staying in and watching the tv in the room just as much as I did exploring the area! I plan on staying here again the next time I’m in the area.

Our trip didn't go as planned due to me coming down with a cold, but having to stay in the room all day on friday wasn't a problem at all due to how warm and cozy it was.

We loved our stay! The room had everything you could need for a stay, the bathroom was beautiful, and a very comfy bed! JoAnne leaves a key so you can lock up your room for added confidence, even though we didn’t feel like we needed to. Super close to any fun place you want to go to (restaurants, galleries, movie theater, shops, the ocean, mansions)! Clean and cute!

I loved the roof top deck, enjoyed seeing the sun set and moon rise. It was easy to walk to the harbor and enjoy city without moving my car. All kinds of snacks and beverages were provided. The apartment was clean and I appreciated the washer and dryer to wash my clothes.

Very much as described. Great location and really appreciated the off street parking. Walked everywhere. Never used the car! Location in apartment building is 3rd floor and the stairs are tight. Was fine for us but not for everyone. Similarly, access to rooftop can be challenging. Worth it, but challenging. Probably best to inquire with host about details.

Photos don’t do this place justice! Loved the roof deck. Way larger than the photos make it seem. Good location. Walkable to many of the tourist attractions which helps because the car traffic/parking in some areas get crazy. 100% recommend!

The location is great with walking distance to downtown. The host is really nice, cool and fun. And she even gave me a ride to the harbor to help me catch the ferry to Providence.

What a great artsy space that's walking distance to downtown, Easton's Beach and the Cliff Walk, to name a few! We arrived late in the evening the first night but she was there to welcome us and we received a lot of great local tips from her. Even after we checked out she let us use the space to hold our bags and use the bathroom before continuing our trip. Great value, hope to come back soon!

The house was great. The location is unbeatable. We didn’t have any issues. There were two decks, beautiful view, no complaints. House was clean. We are already thinking about booking again.

An older home with updated amenities. It has a nice view of the water. It was clean and very close to downtown life. Enjoyed our stay.

The house is an even better location than you can imagine, the views are pretty you can see a bit of ocean and the big bridge that takes you into Newport. The house has a couple of balconies including a bigger one on the first floor that has a cool design for privacy and seating. The third bedroom on the third floor is super big and spacious but it is a loft and does not have a door. Luke was super responsive to all our messages and the house was sparkling clean and had everything we (6 couples) needed. I highly recommend this space, we would definitely stay here again!

Pretty place. Water pressure/temp could have been better. Would have taken 30 minutes to have a soak in the tub and it would have been luke warm. The decor is quite beachy.

My friends and I stayed here for a few days while visiting Newport. The location is great - walking distance to shops/restaurants and easy access back to the highway and beaches in town. The apartment was very clean and had the cooking utensils we needed to make a few meals. The bathtub was very comfortable and a fun treat.

My first Airbnb experience and it was fantastic! Wonderful host ~ Julie’s 2nd floor apartment is Bright and Charming and beautifully remodeled, very clean and in a quiet great location. Such comfort watching a big screen TV! Amazing and totally stocked kitchen, luxurious Bathroom and 2 beautiful bedrooms! I really enjoyed my stay here.

Julie's house was such an amazing spot to stay at. The space was updated and very clean. My favorite aspect was the updated bathroom and the claw foot tub.

Lovely location in the heart of the BrIck Market. The two balconies on the second floor allow one to be outside yet have privacy. The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. Karen is very responsive to email, usually responding within an hour. She tries to be flexible and understanding of changes in circumstances. I highly recommend Karen and this apartment.

You can expect to be right by the shops and right by the water! There's a beautiful patio space on both sides of the condo, a beautiful bed and living room space, we cooked in the kitchen two nights in a row! We loved it here

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Karen’s place. The location is incredible. Right on Thames Street, we walked everywhere we wanted to go in downtown Newport. We found a parking lot that allowed overnight parking for $20 within walking distance which was awesome as well. I loved having 2 suite porches! The place is very clean and Karen has all the amenities we needed. She was extremely responsive to questions and had very helpful suggestions to restaurants, etc. I would definitely recommend Karen’s place and look forward to coming back in warmer weather!

She makes the entire process a breeze from the check-in process to providing information on parking, restaurants, activities and so on. Easy parking in winter and only a few blocks from beautiful historic homes, great restaurants, and an ocean view. 4 of us stayed and there was plenty of room for us to hang out in the cozy living room, get ready for the day, etc. Looks like it would be really nice in summer as well! Also check-in and check-out was the easiest of all AirBnBs I've been too, and Olga was very responsive when we had questions.

Denise’s apartment was the perfect location for my Newport getaway. Everything was within a 2 mile radius, so Lyfts weren’t expensive and walls weren’t bad. She responded back very quickly to any questions I had, and was so accommodating when I needed a late check out. Apartment was super clean and had all the essentials for a relaxing weekend.

Booked this apartment because we were attending a wedding at the Ocean Cliff Resort. This place was so perfect for what we needed. The space is small but perfect for my boyfriend and I. Very clean. Awesome deck and backyard. The location is SUPERB. 5-10 minutes from all attractions. Definitely a walkable area. Would stay here again!

Jim’s place is a perfect spot to anchor your Newport vacation from. Loved the location on fun filled Thames Street. Apartment is nicely decorated with very comfortable beds and all the basics you need are there. We especially loved having a welcoming glass of wine out on the upper deck and enjoying the fresh salty air of the Newport Harbor. It can be a little noisy on weekend nights with nearby taverns but just put on your window ac and that drowns out most chatter. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Karine and her husband are wonderful hosts. Karine is welcoming and very helpful. The location is great! We walked to the Broadway shops, restaurants and bars, the historic Mansion district and down to the Marina. The bed and the room were comfortable. Great place.

Had a great time at Brandon and Danielle’s place. It was very clean and easy to walk to everything on Thames (even in the cold of February). It was only a mile walk to the 40 steps of the cliff walk too. We had a few issues pop up and Brandon was very helpful and responded in a reasonable amount of time. Loved the touches of snacks left in the kitchen and we found the beds very comfortable.

This is a charming and spacious two bedroom flat located in a beautiful area just steps away from the restaurants and pubs on Thames Street. Communication with Brandon was outstanding; he went out of the way to make sure check/In was easy. The space itself is perfect for a small family or two couples. I was there alone after my +1 was unable to join and I had far more space than one person could possibly need. The kitchen is well-equipped and Brandon was kind enough to leave a welcome bottle of wine and a variety of snacks. I cannot recommend this place too highly.

This was the second time that we stayed at Brandon's place. It is super clean, the location is perfect, and the hosts really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Just some of the highlights: comfy beds, luxurious couches, Keurig machine, snacks and wine, and cozy heating system. We had an amazing time and we hope to come back again!

Ray was very accommodating of my late arrival, with detailed instructions of how to check in. The room is ideal and cozy for visiting and situated ideally downtown for easy access to the conference center and bus station. Would be glad to return.

Ray responded to all inquiries right away. His place was clean and in a great location. He lives in a beautiful neighborhood and within easy walking distance to other sites/restaurants. We had our privacy but he was available if needed.

Ray's place is in a great location. It's just a 10-minute walk to my favorite cafe and bookstore. I came for a family function and it was such a convenient place to stay. Easy check-in and check-out. Ray was friendly and welcoming when I arrived. Everyone in the house was respectful and quiet. My room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. I highly recommend staying here.

Ray's place has a terrific location. It if fun to stay in a historic place in Newport, a historic city. Ray was very available. He gave us privacy, but was there to answer our questions and give us tips. We had a fine time.

My friend and I were in town for a sailing event. Ray’s listing is accurate and was the best value for the price the 5 days we were in Newport. He has 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. He lives upstairs. As others have mentioned, his home is very comfortable. If you’re looking for new and stylish, this may not be your cup of tea. However his house is in an historic district with a lot of character. A neighborhood parking pass is provided. The walk to downtown may be far for some, but finding cheap parking in Newport can take forever. We preferred to walk. Ray keeps a beautiful garden, grows delicious heirloom tomatoes, and has a nice collection of antique furniture and carpets. Ray gave us a great suggestion for breakfast. I recommend Ray’s listing if you are looking for an affordable place in the heart of Newport- hard to find in August.

Absolutely charming room with a large, comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The location is great for the price given that I was able to walk to restaurants and grocery stores from the Airbnb. I was even given an option of breakfast items and a Keurig with coffee choices for the morning. I definitely recommend staying here if you are coming to Newport.

Karine's is perfect for a getaway to Newport. We were super comfortable and the rest of the guest were very nice. I enjoyed our stay at here home and the proximity to downtown Newport was perfect.

Karine’s place was lovely! Just a few blocks from downtown Newport, but quiet and quaint. The room was comfortable, and although the bathroom was shared, we didn’t even see the other couple who was there at the same time. Both guest rooms are on a separate floor from Karine’s room, so we didn’t disturb her at night and she didn’t disturb us. The ground floor of the house is beautiful, with lots of light coming in and lots of art (much of it painted by Karine!) up on the wall. She has three cats, two of which are among the friendliest we’ve ever met. As soon as we sat down on the couch, they snuggled up on us and made us feel right at home. It’s worth noting that although the cats roam the ground floor freely, there wasn’t a hair in sight on the guest floor. I sometimes get allergies from sleeping around cats, but didn’t have any trouble here. Karine offered several additional amenities, such as bread and tea, although we didn’t take advantage of them as we were only there for one night. However, we did take advantage of her recommendations! She is a tour guide at the nearby Rough Point mansion, so she knows a lot about the history of Newport and nearby attractions. We followed her advice to walk along the Sachuest Point National Wildlife Reserve, which was much nicer than the nearby Fort Adams State Park that is typically recommended. In short, we highly recommend you stay in Karine’s beautiful home, admire her art, enjoy her cats, stroll around her neighborhood, and say hi to her after you your Rough Point!

Karine’s place is amazing, and she’s super sweet! We really enjoyed staying with her and will definitely stay again if we come back to Newport.

Jeff’s charming apartment is in the center of everything. You can walk to restaurants, waterfront and Cliff Walk. It is clean, warm and stocked with plenty of towels, sheets, pillows and blankets. It’s a bright, cheerful and quite spacious for a studio suitable for a couple. Jeff is responsive, kind and generous. I highly recommend this studio apartment.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! The place is so adorable and has so much character, just like the rest of Newport. Although it was a bit chilly, Jeff's place is located in the heart of it all and we were able to walk to dinner! Can't wait to come back again.

My husband and I loved our long weekend here. The apartment was bright, cheery, clean, and very spacious for two people: living room with brick-hearth fireplace, beautiful wide plank floors, comfy sofa and chairs, and TV with voice-command remote; kitchen with cafe table; nice bathroom; and bedroom with plenty of closet and drawer space, bedside tables on both sides of the bed, and a comfortable bed. Good electrical outlets. The weather was very cold, but the apartment was nice and warm, and the shower warms up fast. The apartment is on the first floor of an old three-story home: we could hear the upstairs people walking around, but that’s to be expected in an older historic home. The location is fantastic; we parked right out front when we arrived and never needed our car again. We were within 20 min or less walking distance of everything: downtown historic district; art museum, Tennis Hall of Fame, mansions, cliff walk, wharfs, plenty of restaurants and shopping, etc. The location is outside the super touristy area, in a real Newport neighborhood, but with plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars just steps away. Our hosts were very helpful and lightning quick to answer questions. We’d love to stay here again next time we’re in town.

Jim’s place was perfect for our fall weekend in Newport. It was in a great location, charming, super clean and really easy to access.

I was looking for a clean, stylish, quiet place to relax for a couple days and found it at Matthews spot! The porch is perfect for a game of farkle or a glass of wine while you watch the sun set. The bathroom is AMAZING and the rest of the space is immaculate. Will definitely keep in mind for a next trip!

Amazing space. Host was awesome and responsive. This place was next to everything you’d want to go to in Newport. We walked the entire trip and loved it. Perfect get away for my quarantined birthday! Super clean. Incredible bathroom and super safe with smart code locks on all doors. We would def stay here again!

First off, Mathew is a great host! He is super responsive and he made sure we were comfortable. The space is adorable and the roof porch is amazing. The bathroom is impeccable!!! The bathtub was amazing and I loved coming back in after a day of commercial fishing to relax in it. It was quiet and peaceful. The location you cannot beat for the price. It is walking distance to everything! The brick market place is only a few blocks away and so isn’t the marina on goat island and Thames. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

Wonderful, comfortable space.

Matthew and his brother Keith provided a wonderful apartment with a prime location! Matthew was very quick to respond to any questions we had and the apartment was immaculate when we arrived. The roof deck provides such a wonderful place to enjoy the weather and the close walking distance to downtown and the wharf provided endless entertainment. Would certainly love to stay here again in the future!

The location of this place was incredible and I loved the space in general. Hopefully will be booking another trip to Newport soon and with any luck we will be able to stay here. Keep up the great work with this terrific place!
