A MUST SEE! This place is so much more amazing than the pictures and description even show. We only stayed for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. You won’t want to leave! Beautiful views of the city, amazing amenities (especially considering you’re in a treehouse), and wonderful host who gave great local tips. If we’re ever back in Cork, we would love to stay here again! Highly recommend, it’s worth every penny!

This was our absolute favorite place we stayed on our 9 day trip around Ireland. There are so many sweet touches that makes this treehouse magical. The croissants in the morning were warm and delicious. The bathroom has a heater which was fabulous because it was cold when we stayed. The view is also amazing! If you’re weary about staying here, don’t be. It is awesome!! Also, Richard was very responsive and helpful with our late arrival and extended our check out time because it was not nice out.

Richard's place was clean, cozy and picturesque! The room was beautiful and secluded and the view from the treehouse was breathtaking.

This Airbnb is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at! Richard is a fantastic host and helped us drop our luggage early, gave us tips of where to go in town, and was extremely helpful and accommodating. It is a beautiful treehouse full of touches and great views! It is up a pretty steep hill as in the description, so just be aware if you’re walking! Thanks for the great stay Richard :)

What a view! How many times can you say you stayed in a treehouse?! It was beautiful and modern- and our breakfast being sent up in a little pulley in a basket was just amazing. Richard was very welcoming, funny, and helpful. Quick walk down to the city center for yummy food and drinks! Would definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

Great hosts, very friendly. They even went the extra mile and stocked the fridge and cupboards with juice, milk, cereals, bread etc. Excellent value for the money.

Great little home from home would definitely stay here again

Gerry provided a warm welcome to our lovely home for the weekend. The house was a cosy getaway perfectly placed on the outskirts of the city.

Perfect retreat South of Cork. Ann was kind enough to pick me up from Belgooly, and her son dropped me off at the bus stop on the day I left. The views from the cabin are spectacular and the cabin is cosy. Definitely a great stay for a couple or a single traveler. The dog, Sandy, coming to hang out was a perk :)

Absolutely stunning location where you can sit on the deck looking out to sea. Cabin itself is basic but clean and comfortable. Ann and her family are warm and welcoming and excellent hosts. Looking forward to our next stay at the Cabin!

Can’t beat the view from the cabin or cozying up by the fire to read after a day of exploring the area. Ann was a great host and super friendly, and we were also pleased that her sweet dog Sandy gave us a visit one night. Like others have mentioned, Ann gives great directions to the house but it is on a narrow and windy road - best to find it the first time during the day!

Outstanding location with views that are better than seen on-line. Basic as Ann describes it but it’s so comfortable. First time in a long time we have gone without a TV but it was so worth it, hubby and I actually chatted for hours listening to music, haven’t done much of that and it was lively until we disagreed on what was going to be played next lololol

The cabin is a gem! We spent a couple of nights there. Ann greeted us , and provided local tips for the area. Ann’s dog , Sandy is so sweet...she would greet us in the morning on our way out. We ventured into Kinsale both nights and ate at the Bluehaven. Food was great, service was ok! Our second day was spent at the cliffs of moher, coming back to the cabin was just what we needed. In closing, the cabin is perfect for spending time with your special someone and getting away from the daily routine. Ann provided a memorable experience of Ireland! Hope to be able to come back one day!!!

The cabin is a delightful get-way dream. Picturesque views of the ocean, beach and rolling pastures. A short drive to wonderful Kinsale. We had a memorable stay with Ann.

Very nice place to stay. Everything necessary. Super nice garden. There is no stove or oven for it but a microwave and great tips for delivery service nearby. Quiet and relaxing location

We had a lovely stay at Mark's cottage - one of the most quaint and unique places I've stayed in! Really cosy with lots of nice touches, perfect for getting away from it all. Mark was really friendly and helpful. The place is close to the beautiful Myrtleville beach and the pub. Would recommend!

This is a very special place with lovely personal touches, and very cosy, even in mid-Winter. Mark left us some honey and other breakfast essentials and even thought of turning on the electric blanket for us! He gave us some local tips and was quickly available for anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

We would URGE you to make this home a stop on your list. Go out of your way, it’s worth it! Our stay was above and beyond expectation.

The cottage is a wonderland of farm and coastal life, the perfect place to rest and recharge in winter and I imagine a terrific base to visit the coastline of Cork in the summer. The rooms are decorated with comforting eccentricities and the stove tenderly heats the kitchen and living room, keeping you cosy at all times. Mark is a kind and relaxed host, making sure you have everything you need and always on hand in any eventuality.

Laura is a great host, offering advice on places of interest and recommendations for the best restaurants. The accommodation is in a lovely spot with the upstairs rooms offering amazing views. We would not hesitate going back to stay.

The stay with Laura was absolutely amazing! The Lodge is just perfect for self catering and a cosy night in if you wish. The views over the River Bandon from the front and rear are serene , tranquil and pretty. We took a wonderful walk for an hour around the peninsula taking in the landscape . quite wonderful! Laura was very kind providing essential supplies for our arrival and made everything very comfortable , also gave good local knowledge and contacts for cabs etc. I can only highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a wonderful stay. Laura is a wonderful host. Although she had to work late, she made a point of welcoming us and gave us some great ideas of places to visit in the area, and the best way to get there. The apartment is sparkling clean, and she had lovely touches to welcome us, such us fresh flowers, coffee, tea, juice and breads with butter and delicious jam for breakfast. We highly recommend staying here.

Great place to stay - close to Kinsale but in a quiet, rural setting. Laura and her husband were both welcoming & we enjoyed our time there. Nice tidy space & fresh flowers waiting on our arrival! She gave us ideas on where to eat, where to get our laundry done and let us know where to park so we didn't have to drive the crowded streets of Kinsale.

Pauline’s place is in the quiet area of Summerhill, which is a quick ten minute walk to city centre, but far enough away to not be noisy and touristy. Upon my agreed-upon early arrival Pauline let me leave my bags even though the room wasn’t ready so I could go about my day bag-free. The room itself was beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom, but they’re both hidden away in their own private alcove on the second floor. The space felt very private and I didn’t see anyone after I first checked in with Pauline. Another huge plus was the lovely hot water in the shower, as some AirBnBs I’ve stayed at in older houses have been hit or miss with the hot water. The bed was so comfy I didn’t want to get up in the morning, and the first night Pauline’s dear little cat came and visited me, which was such a treat!! Two things to note: there is a eye and hook latch on the inside of the alcove, so you can lock that when you’re inside and the bedroom door had a sliding latch from the inside. I had no problems with this arrangement, but if you don’t like the idea of not being able to lock your space up when you leave then you’ll want to consider if this is the right place for you. Also, don’t be stupid like me and go the long-way around from the train station. When you exit the train station you’ll see a massive staircase and a bridge: that is your express route to Pauline’s, which I discovered later. I had a thoroughly enjoyable time and will definitely stay with Pauline again the next time I’m in Cork.

Cool space and a great location!

Great, stylish place with a great location in Cork. Very large bedroom with a bathroom next door, all on a floor to your own. We would highly recommend this place to others!

Pauline is a fantastic host and the photos don’t do this cute studio flat justice. The space is huge and stylishly decorate. The bath is amazing - you can soak after a busy day exploring!! The room and bathroom and tidy and clean with all the best touches (lovely products and tea to sip while watching the fire). The city is just down the hill ready for you to explore and enjoy. I cannot recommend this place highly enough - superb. I will stay here again when I visit cork.

Beautiful Victorian bedroom, high ceilings and a pretty balcony to sit out on in fine weather, fabulous bathroom too!

Pauline's place was lovely and beautiful. A very quick walk from Kent station. The rich old character of the house was the perfect fit for our stay in Cork. The house is an old Georgian, the room has a working fireplace, a little outdoor patio space and large windows facing the street. Comfy bed, nice pillows, great sheets. Very very quiet room, less some cars going by. The bathroom is large and the clawfoot tub is beautiful, wish I had time to use it! She let us drop our bags when we arrived to town, even though the room wasn't ready yet (we were early) that was very thoughtful. Thank you Pauline, it was a wonderful stay.

Needed a place to sleep on a quick trip to Cork. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. Room was spacious and had lovely artwork and tea/coffee too! Hosts were really lovely and welcoming!

Our double room was indeed spotless and the room heater works really well. Also, the hot water for the shower lasted well. Parking was manageable even though it did require a bit of a walk. Location was excellent, very near all the action in Cork. One word of advice, when you climb the stairs once you’re in, find apartment 10 upstairs before seeking out your room number.

Beautiful place close to the city centre, Bus station and nice pubs. Room, shared areas, bathroom well kept and clean. Comfortable bed and nice amenities included! Claudia and Jonatas are really kind and helpful. Unfortunately I stayed just for a night and left in the early morning so I did not spend time with them but the first impression was truly nice. I really reccomend place and hosts!

The apartment is located in a perfect location to visit cork and to reach the most popular sites, including cork rail station and cork bus station. Near the apartment there are pubs, supermarkets, bar and restaurant, but the zone is quiet, so there's no problem for sleeping. Bathroom is shared but always cleaned up. Breakfast was good and it includes much types of jams, bread, coffee, milk and so on. Jonathas and Claudia are very kind and friendly people. Very fast replies and very helpful. See u next time!!!

I would recommend this apartment if you stay in Cork. If I get back to Cork, I would definitely get back to this apartment: 1) The apartment is in a great location, you can walk anywhere in Cork within 15 minutes. 2) Mairead responded very quick any time we had any issue with the apartment. 3) We had anything we need to stay comfortably in the apartment.

Absolutely perfect location. Cork was very walkable and so much right around the corner for Mairead’s place. Excellent cozy space for two people with all the necessary amenities. We are excited to be back!

I found this efficiency apartment to be small as described but very functional and comfortable. I have a bad back and need a firm bed and this one was perfect. I also am on a restricted diet so being able to prepare simple meals was an immense help. The location is walking distance to so many tourist attractions as well as restaurants, shopping and the cinema. Perfect.

Mairead is a fantastic host. Great location. Can walk to most sites in the downtown area. Mairead very attentive to our needs and quick to respond to questions. We will recommend Mairead to family and friends and will book with Mairead on our return.

The place was very nice, close to town!

My first time staying there, I was very happy with the accommodation. It's private, spacious, TV and Wifi are great, it has everything you need to have a comfortable stay and its great value. There are shops close by and its only a 20-minute walk to the city centre. Alin was very helpful and quick to answer questions. Would be happy to stay there again.

Very private and big room with lots of light. It was a bit furthen from city centre that we expected but got there and back easily. Easiest to take a taxi there from airport or city centre with lots of baggage. The busses were easy enough and close enough to use.

Perfect, very new, modern and clean. Amazing TV, WiFi works great, I hardly see better in Ireland.

The studio is nice and clean. It is within the premises of the hosts' own apartment and opens up to the garden which was great for our little one. Alin gave us useful tips about sightseeing and local amenities.

Alin's place is amazing. It is quaint with a beautiful view and within walking distance of Cork city. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Cork. He was very fast with responding and introduced himself to us at the beginning and asked if we needed help when we were leaving. Very kind person and wonderful home. Lovely private, quiet location. Everything you need for a few days stay. Easy parking. We didn’t walk to Cork City Centre as we took the bus 214/203 €2.60 every 20 minutes. Louise is such a nice host and her homely house is perfectly near to Corks city center.

I had a great stay at Louises home. The room was very nice and comfortable, especially the bed. The communication with Louise was very uncomplicated. Whenever I had a question Louise answered very fast.

I stayed at Louise's during a very blustery storm, but I felt safe and cozy inside. The bed was very comfortable and Louise had great books in the room. It was all very easy. I won't miss walking up that hill, but it wasn't really all that bad.

Louise is very flexible and easy going, she accepted hosting my sister and me even though in the beggining I only booked for 1. The room was big enough for 2. The bedroom and the bathroom were both sparkling clean (and well decorated). The heater was on all the time, so when we came home, the house was perfectly warm. We had the key of the house since the very moment we arrived. The house is very close to the city center (5 minutes walk), BUT on the top of an isolated hill. Not ideal to walk home if you're easy to frighten (like me), but a taxi from the center will be around €7. I recommend staying at Louise's very much.

John was very kind and friendly and made us feel right at home. He even dropped us into city centre and gave us a little guided tour and lots of great recommendations! Breakfast was provided which was lovely and the little extra touches such as toiletries and leaflets and water in the room really made this place special.

John is an amazing host, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and show us his city. He had great local suggestions and plenty of brochures. His place is in a great location just on the skirts of the city close to a bus stop or an easy short walk. Could not recommend this enough! We loved our stay and hope to be back again.

The Studio was perfect! Just what we needed for a two night stay in Cork. The amenities are top notch and made us feel right at home. The bathroom is beautiful - we really loved having the skylight ceiling and it made the space feel so spacious. The small kitchen has everything we needed for our time there and the thoughtful items in the fridge were much appreciated. We were able to park our rental car in the back of the Studio which was very convenient for when we wanted to walk into the city. There are many pubs to checkout within about a 10min walk and a ton of spots in the city center which is about 15-20min. We would definitely recommend this spot and would happily stay again when returning to Cork!

Our two night stay at this cottage was fantastic. It’s in a quiet neighborhood on the south side of the Lee and fairly easy to find using Ireland’s new eircodes. We arrived to a fully stocked mini fridge of everything we would need for breakfast along with all the fixings for tea and coffee. The place is stylishly decorated and very cozy. Rebekah has literally thought of everything and we were just so impressed. We also loved the location as we could easily walk to “Paddy the Farmers” for dinner and a pint (food was very good) as well as into town. I would highly, highly recommend this place.

The studio was a wonderful place to stay over our weekend in Cork! We couldn't fault the hospitality we received and could confidently say that we have never stayed in an AirBnB property which has better amenities. The place was sparklingly clean and with unbeatable style. Plentiful soft towels and comfortable bedding with delicious breakfast food! We found the free on-street parking to be incredibly handy and it was easily walking distance from anywhere in Cork city. We couldn't fault it and would be happy to recommend it to anyone who was coming to Cork! Thank you so much for having us!

Such a nice, clean, stylish and comfy spot. You get all the intimacy you need and the self check happened to be very handy for us (which were unsure about our arrival timings). Would stay again if coming back to Cork!

I cannot recommend Ken and Rebekah’s place enough. Myself and my friend stayed for 2 nights and loved the cosy space which looks like it is straight out of an interiors magazine. The colours used are so calming. The bed was so comfy with a proper feather duvet. The kitchen and bathroom were so cute and stylish and had everything we needed, including gorgeous body shop soaps and shampoo and other useful items. The fridge was stocked up with breakfast items for us which was such a lovely touch. The temperature was perfect and there is a really cool blue tooth player installed. Rebekah was an amazing host and was in contact with us before and during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. She gave us loads of good tips for bars and restaurants etc. All of which were very cool places to go to! I could go on and on but I cannot recommend this little place enough. I cannot wait to come back. 5 stars all the way!!

Rebekah's studio is very clean, and perfectly situated. You can reach Cork city centre by foot within 15mn. Rebekah has been very reactive and helpful and left us a french plan of the city as well as a list of places to have lunch/dinner. We will come back !

Dan is absolutely amazing. When I stay in an AirBnB I like to feel like I'm at home and not in someone else's space. It's also great when you can have real honest conversations with your host and learn new things. Dan is a prime example of this. We had such great chats and he knows so much about Ireland and Cork, it's a real joy getting lost in conversation with him about music, hobbies and life. Fanny and Charlie's place is perfectly located for getting around in Cork. It is charming and they are friendly, thoughtful hosts who took great care of our needs. Hades the dog is an amazingly cool, cuddly bonus! Super welcoming and cozy! Hades is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met

Charlie and Fanny are lovely hosts! The location is perfect to explore Cork, breakfast is super generous and of course, puppy Hades is a gem.

Great cosy place amazingly located in the very centre of Cork (15 or less minutes walk to anywhere in town, literally). Charlie and Fanny are great hosts, not only very helpful but also fantastic people. And there's a lovely doggy Hades. Great craic! :)

They are great hosts, so sweet and welcoming into their home. The space is very clean, and there are clear instructions for the heater and shower as well. The nice offer of tea, coffee, toast, etc. is a great touch too! It’s a perfect location just a 6 min walk into the town but perfectly nestled right over the bridge, with a fun bar and coffee shop 3 min walk away. I stayed with my boyfriend and the pull out bed and twin bed situation was not a problem at all. They even went out of their way to introduce themselves. I would recommend to stay with them :)

Lilian's place is the perfect spot for on-the-go travelers. My friend and I stayed at her place for 2 nights and she was incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating (she let us check in 3 hours early!). The room is plenty of space and the shared spaces are clean and well taken care of. Highly recommendif you are here for a short stay. Thanks Lilian!

Very nice room with enough space for everything.

Basic but very clean, and close to the centre. I didn't see the host and her husband much, but they were friendly and flexible.

Good quality / price, Lilian very nice and attentive. Bathroom with everything you need and a small breakfast at your disposal. Very good location Perfect for a night in the city.

Clean and good located accomodation. Lilian is very welcoming and offers the breakfast to the guests. The bedroom is very noisy, don't forget your earplugs.

Lili is the best host. Her reactions were really fast. She agree with earlier arrive. The Room was really clean. The location is near the city center and near the bus transfer from airport.

Lilian was a great host. The apartment was very near to the city center. I would highly recommend the place if you want to stay near the city, and also there is something to eat for breakfast.

Emilie and her husband are amazing host! Their home is cute and cosy. They go out of their way to make you feel at home away from home. Emilie is not only amazing host but super generous and kind human, who gave me a ride to city centre because it was raining! Even if I stayed for a day, I am going to remember her hospitality and care and will look forward to staying for longer period in near future. P.S- If you are a cat lover, their is a surprise for you there!

Emilie's place is a great, low-stress place to stay for your stay in Cork. She is a great host, who even gave up her own car so that I could park on the street near her place. I would recommend this place to other travelers!

We were so much welcome for Yanira and his boyfriend Luciano. They were super cool and friendly with us! The house is perfect to stay a few days if you need. It was clean and it's really close to the centre. We recommend it :)

I really enjoyed my stay at Yanira’s home. The house is in a very central location and it is very good value. I was warmly welcomed by Yanira and I would definitely recommend this house to anyway. I’ll definitely be staying again when I’m back in Cork!

Everything was great. Yanira and Luciano really helped us out with settling in, and dinners together were always fun. If you're going to stay somewhere in Cork, they should be at the top of your list

Michael is an awesome guest! Always open to help and for a talk. The place is just across the street from UCC University, and 3km from CIT University. Bus stop is just 20m far. Finally Charlie is a lovely dog, never heard him bark! For this price you won't find better in Cork!

Michael is really welcoming, really kind, always here if you need something or for a talk. You can use the kitchen, the fridge, the washing machine. You will not find another BandB at that price.

Michael is a lovely man with lots of local knowledge and a generous spirit. He always has a tip to give. I felt like a friend coming to stay, he was so welcoming. The location of Michael's place makes getting anywhere quick and easy. Very close to the UCC, short walk distance to the city center, supermarkets, pharmacies. The place is clean and warm and has everything you need. I highly recommend it.

Fellow Travelers, At Michael's you can expect to be treated like a king/queen. As well, you will have great facilities, a host who thoroughly knows his city, and a kind, caring host. I use BnBs a lot and Michael's makes my Hall of Fame list.

I only stayed at Sheeba's lovely little place for one night. It was a nice cosy ecperience. There is an artsy creative ambiance in her quaint little townhouse. The house is great value for money as it is one of the most affordable dwellings in Cork City. The location is great as it is in the city centre - nicely situated in a culturally rich district. The bathroom is clean and tidy. I felt comfortable eating in her kitchen and making myself a cup of tea. Her place is cool and trendy, the room is cozy and quiet, and it is perfectly situated on the foot of the city centre. I'd reccomend her place for anyone that likes to get a real feel for the city while they chill out and explore what Cork has to offer. There is a nice mellow vibe about Sheeba's hospitality.

Sheba's house is so beautiful, very stylish and cozy. In addition, the view on Cork is great. I felt very well and was completely satisfied with everything. :-)

Stayed for one night and it was clean, economic and worked perfectly. Had a good night of sleep. Just a note for visitors - the staircase to the room is narrow and steep. That was fine for me but something to note.

Miriam and Garry were amazing host. The communication was great they were quick to respond and we flexible with our check in time as we had some flight issues coming from the US. It was great staying with Miriam & Gary again, coming back to Cork after a year. Did not manage to see Miriam, but the communication was, as always, great, and it was lovely seeing Gary again. The place is still wonderful - very homely. If you are after a pristine Ikea'd-up soulless place to stay, find somewhere else. If you are after simple accommodation, clean, welcoming, in a great location, with delightful and relaxed hosts, this is the place for you! Looking forward to staying there again next year!

Best Bnb I’ve stayed at to date. Bed very comfortable, bedroom very spacious with plenty of drawers and hanging space, separate reading/relaxing room, plenty of food for breakfast. Took me in on a two hour notice, and late evening at that. Marie is a very generous person, and social. Also has all the touring pamphlets in the reading room. Thank you again Marie!!

A wonderfully hospitable host, an immaculate home with lots of little things designed to put guests at ease. Great value, especially with a breakfast of good Irish produce included!

With Marie you feel at home! Every morning she prepares a loving breakfast for you. At Christmas time you are greeted by a dancing Santa Claus, the house is generally very Christmassy and above all clean! On our next Ireland vacation, we will definitely stay with her again! Thanks Marie! :)

Joantas' place was awesome! Really close to Cork city center, walking time to St. Patrick's bridge about 15 min. Easy check in, clean room, and nice hosts. They were very accommodating and were good at responding. Would absolutely recommend their room for a weekend in Cork!

It was a nice room. Everything you need for a night was available.

Kate and Dermot’s flat couldn’t have been more perfect for my needs. Their son Sean checked me and everyone involved was very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent, quick 15-20 min walk into the city centre and St Luke’s is great in its own right (it is at the top of a hill so I might recommend a taxi if you have lots of luggage, but I found it very walkable and view is well worth it). I found the place very clean and it had all the amenities I could ask for including a washer and dryer. It’s an older place with some quirks but between the location and price I highly recommend to any low maintenance travelers who want their own space.

Maria's place is a cosy apartment with excellent amenities. The location is great - around a 5 to 10 minute walk to the centre of Cork, but also has some good local pubs, coffee shops and convenience stores nearby. The apartment also has everything you need if you wanted to spend a night in cooking, and watch TV/DVDs. Maria was very welcoming and friendly when we met. Definitely recommend!

A great place do start that's close to everything the city has to offer!

Maria's spot is a perfect, quiet location for exploring central Cork. There are lots of nearby pubs and food options besides the 10 minute walk to the town center. Also, there is a public bus stop about 2 minutes away that will take you to Blarney Village for 3.80 euros in about 35 minutes. Definitely recommend this stay!
